Low Acceleration Overload Catapult Technique for Throwing the Small Scout Robot
In: Defence science journal: DSJ, Band 66, Heft 5, S. 504
ISSN: 0011-748X
The small scout robot is generally thrown into the war zone by soldier. The short thrown distance and the danger of soldier exposed to the enemy limit the application of the small scout robot. So this paper presents a type of low acceleration overload catapult device of no flash, no smoke and no sound. It can throw the small scout robot covertly to long distances with low acceleration overload, and avoid the danger that soldier be exposed to the enemy when artificial throwing. The high and low pressure chambers of the catapult device achieve the low acceleration overload launching, and eliminate the risk of robot damaged by huge acceleration overload. The covert launching of no flash, no smoke and no sound is achieved by the piston to seal the gun propellant gas in barrel. Based on the interior ballistic model, the interior ballistic performance is calculated. The experiment for measuring the acceleration overload of the projectile is achieved by using the catapult device prototype and the measurement system developed by authors. The simulation and test results show that this catapult device can meet the requirement to throw the small scout robot into the war zone.

Crude Oil Price Bubble Identification and Risk Assessment From Different Spot Markets: Establishing a Sustainable Energy Policy
In: Strategic planning for energy and the environment
ISSN: 1546-0126
Crude oil, as a strategic energy resource for social development, has witnessed substantial price fluctuations in recent years, impacting the sustainability of economy, ecological environment, and energy security. This paper utilized weekly crude oil price data from January 2003 to March 2023 to examine price bubbles in different markets using the SADF and GSADF methods, identified the duration of price bubbles by comparing the BSADF series with critical value series, assessed the risk of price bubbles in different markets using the established comprehensive indicators, and explored sustainable energy policies from the perspectives of both crude oil importers and exporters. The findings of this study indicate that bubbles exist in the world's major crude oil markets, with linkages and differences in their origin and termination across different markets. The risk of price bubbles varies widely across different crude oil markets and has significant geographical characteristics, with a higher risk in the markets such as OPEC, Oman, and Dubai, and a lower risk in the markets such as WTI, Brent, and Daqing. This paper proposes sustainable energy policies from the perspective of energy importers and exporters. This is of great importance to enhance the ability of different countries to cope with the risk of crude oil price bubbles and to ensure the sustainability of economic development, ecological environment, and energy security.

Association between Genetic Polymorphisms of MIR3142HG and the Risk of Steroid-Induced Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head in the Population of Northern China
In: Public health genomics, Band 25, Heft 3-4, S. 61-69
ISSN: 1662-8063
<b><i>Background:</i></b> Steroid-induced osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is aseptic necrosis of the femoral head caused by glucocorticoid use. Once necrotic femoral head necrosis occurs, it irreversibly affects the quality of life seriously. Studies have shown that the susceptibility to steroid-induced ONFH is likely to be related to the variation of miRNA-coding genes. Therefore, this study aimed was to investigate the effect of <i>MIR3142HG</i> on steroid-induced ONFH. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> Agena MassARRAY was used to genotype <i>MIR3142HG</i> gene rs1582417, rs2431689, rs7727155, and rs17057846 in 199 patients and 725 healthy people. A genetic model and haplotype analysis were used to evaluate the relationship between the <i>MIR3142HG</i> polymorphism and the risk of steroid-induced ONFH. The odds ratio and 95% confidence intervals were obtained through logistic regression to assess the influence of gene polymorphisms on the occurrence of steroid-induced ONFH. <b><i>Results:</i></b> The consequences show that rs7727115 is a protective factor, it could reduce the risk of steroid-induced ONFH, and rs1582417 could increase the risk of steroid-induced ONFH. In the genetic model, rs1582417 was associated with increased risk of alcohol-induced ONFH in dominant model and log-additive model. rs7727115 showed a decreased risk in codominant model, dominant model, and log-additive model. In addition, rs2431689 is related to HDL-C (<i>p</i> = 0.012) and ApoA1 (<i>p</i> = 0.010) levels, and rs17057846 (<i>p</i> = 0.024) is related to ApoB levels. Thelinkage analysis indicated 3 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (rs2431689, rs7727115, and rs17057846) in <i>MIR3142HG</i> with significant chain imbalance. In addition, haplotype "GGG" of <i>MIR3142HG</i> was found out and is harmful for steroid-induced ONFH. <b><i>Conclusion:</i></b> Our results first confirm that the genetic polymorphism of <i>MIR3142HG</i> is associated with steroid-induced ONFH susceptibility in Chinese Han population.
