The urgency of this phe-nomenon is attributed by the authors of the article, first of all, to the disappearance of living memory of the generations of witnesses of the most terrible crimes in the history of mankind, and to the processes of mediatization of memory and devel-opment of information technologies. The article deals with the methods of modeling of traumatic events related to Afro-American slavery and racial terror, in the US culture. The authors analyze examples of metonymic reconstruction and meta-phorical coding of the past, symbolic imagery forms of translating memory to other generations, aimed at collective empathy and recognition of extreme violence. ; В статье рассматриваются способы символического моделирования травматических исторических событий, связанных с расовым бесправием, в культуре США.

The article is focused on the philosophy and the practical actions of Booker T. Washington (1856-1915) — the most significant African-American leader of the late XIX — early XX centuries. Theauthor analyzes the formation of attitudes and life principles of this figure, his search of peacefulinteraction of white and black people, in conditions of the restriction of civil and political rights of theAfrican-Americans in the territory of the southern states after the end of the Reconstruction in 1879.The temporary renouncement by the black population of the struggle for political equality in returnfor socio-economic opportunities, that was the main idea of the Washington's "ideology of adaptation",became a compromise in the relationship between the two races. The author also focuses hisattention on the Washington's educational program, his economic development strategy of the blackpeople, and his attitude to the racial discrimination, as well as the reasons that led the "ideology ofadaptation" to the failure in attempt to stop the further offensive racist legislation. ; Статья посвящается философии и практической деятельности Букера Т. Introduction. Apart from classical academic musicology, sociology, social anthropology and related disciplines such as sociolinguistics, philology, and cultural studies contributed to the development of research of music and its role in social, interpersonal relations, and individual experiences. The aim of this research is to investigate musical and singing traditions within the context of social relations, historical challenges, and sub-cultures by sociological and social anthropological approaches. In the last decades these research is of relevance for scholars interested in creativity and creative individuals whose impact effect is ambient in current social and political processes. The main tradition can be approached as a socio-cultural phenomenon emerging in the form of sub-culture.Methodology and sources. Methodological b ackground o f t his r esearch i s o f s tructuralfunctional character. Within this framework art and creativity can be approached by various sets of research techniques. Culture of music can be studies both as an object and as a text; hence, textual and contextual approaches are of significance. In result, we can discover reasons motivating people to influence social relations and preconceptions within certain groups and societies. This approach allows the analysis the connections between individual and collective perceptions of people regarding their identities and place in a society. Finally, not only music shapes the context of sociolultural phenomena, but it is the context itself per se. For this paper I used texts and bibliographic data of singers such as follows: Son House, Robert Johnson, Skip James, William Samuel McTell, Edward W. Clayborn.Results and discussion. The analysis of social history of blues in the end of the nineteenth and in the beginning of the twentieth centuries as well as biographies of bluesmen along with the texts of their songs clearly demonstrates poetic motifs, individual and social reflections of different communities. The images such as love and flirt, manqué love, rest from hard work, roads, railways, trains, abandoned home with simultaneous lack of home, prison, illness, death and cemetery as well as the demonstration of all the listed images by socially oriented creativity in music, represents deep forms of marginality of those who sing it out in front of respected citizens living normal lives.Conclusion. The material scrutinized in this paper clearly shoes that blues as a genre of music along with bluesmen who are representatives of a certain sub-culture, constitute a coherent social system which can be characterized a s a c ounter-culture. This social and cultural phenomenon in a way we encounter it derived from marginal status of its representatives. This marginal status becomes visible in blues as emotion and soulreflection to a large degree contradictory to the idea of respectable citizens and so-called "right way of life". ; Введение. Вклад, внесенный в изучение музыки широким кругом дисциплин вне академического музыковедения, таких к ак социология, антропология, социолингвистика, филология, культурология, способствовал развитию социокультурных исследований о роли музыки в общественных, межличностных отношениях и индивидуальных переживаниях. Целью изучения в статье являются социологические и антропологические исследования музыкально-песенных традиций в контексте социальных отношений, исторических потрясений, субкультур. В последние десятилетия данные исследования представляют научный и методологический интерес для ученых, анализирующих творческую деятельность человека, ее результаты и влияние на изменения в социальных отношениях государств и народов. Блюзовую традицию можно рассматривать как социокультурное явление, и в данном контексте она выступает как контркультура.Методология и источники. Методологическую основу исследования составляет структурно-функциональное направление в социальных науках, в рамках которого искусство, его разновидности и творчество как необходимая деятельность человека могут изучаться целым набором методик. Музыкальная культура может изучаться как объект и как текст, что предполагает наличие соответствующих подходов: текстового и контекстуального. Результатом их использования является выявление смысловых отношений, которые через творческую активность людей влияют на социальные связи и отношения отдельных индивидов, групп, этнических сообществ. Подобный подход позволяет анализировать связь музыки и индивидуальных или коллективных представлений людей, формирование их идентичностей. Музыка и вложенные в нее значения формируют контекст социокультурных явлений, но также музыка сама является их контекстом. В статье использовались тексты и биографические данные таких исполнителей, как Son House, Robert Johnson, Skip James, William Samuel McTell, Edward W. Clayborn.Результаты и обсуждение. В результате изучения и анализа социальной истории блюза конца XIX – начала XX вв., биографий блюзменов, а также текстов исполняемых песен были выявлены ведущие поэтические мотивы, отражающие личностные и социальные отношения представителей данной социальной группы. Такие образы, как любовь-флирт, несчастная любовь, отдых от работы (лучше сбежать от нее), образы сельской дороги Дельты, железнодорожные пути, вокзалы, товарные вагоны, уход из дома и одновременно тоска по его отсутствию, тюрьма, болезнь, смерть и кладбище, и их демонстрация через социально-ориентированное творчество формируют в глазах добропорядочных граждан маргинализацию тех, кто поет об этом.Заключение. Рассмотренный материал наглядно показал, что блюз как музыкальный жанр, а также блюзмены как его исполнители и как носители культуры этого жанра представляют собой слаженную социальную систему, которую можно обозначить как контркультуру. Данный социальный и культурный феномен во многом сложился благодаря маргинальному положению его представителей, что выражалось в первую очередь в том, что блюз – состояние души, которое входило в противоречие с представлениями о респектабельности и «правильном» образе жизни.

Данная работа отражает результаты изучения одного из важнейших эпизодов в истории американского рабства и аболиционизма – дела «Соединенные Штаты против "Амистад"» 1839–1841 гг. История о восстании рабов на одноименном испанском судне буквально захватила американское общество, став предметом одного из самых длительных и резонансных судебных разбирательств. В этот процесс оказались вовлечены виднейшие представители американского аболиционистского движения и политического истеблишмента, включая бывшего и действующего президентов США, испанского консула, министра иностранных дел Великобритании и многих других. Итоговое же решение Верховного суда создало важнейший прецедент в американском праве, став еще одной ступенью в деле освобождения рабов. Указанная тема довольно хорошо освещена в англо-американской историографии, особенно в работах специалистов по направлению «афроамериканская история» (Black History), в то время как отечественные исследователи никогда не уделяли ей должного внимания. Представленная работа призвана восполнить данный пробел. Она опирается на широкую источниковую базу, основу которой составляют материалы судебного производства, многочисленные отчеты и журналистские публикации, а также на англо-американские исследования. Автор восстанавливает картину событий восстания и последующего судебного разбирательства, акцентируя внимание на выявлении каузальных связей и характеристике основных этапов развития событий 1839–1841 гг. В последней части им разъясняются последствия и значение дела «Амистад» в афроамериканской и американской истории.
This article is devoted to the study of one of the most significant episodes in the history of American slavery and abolitionism – the United States v. the Amistad case of 1839–41. The story of the slave uprising on the Spanish ship of the same name literally captured American society and became the subject of one of the longest and most resonant court proceedings. The most prominent representatives of American abolitionist movement and political establishment were involved in this process, including former and current US presidents, the Spanish Consul, the British Foreign Minister, and many others. The final verdict of the Supreme Court created the most important precedent in American law, marking another milestone in the cause of emancipation. This topic is quite well covered in Anglo-American historiography, especially among specialists in the field of African American history (Black History), while Soviet and Russian researchers have almost never paid proper attention to it. The present work is meant to fill this gap. The study is built on a broad source base, which includes the materials of judicial proceedings, numerous reports and journalistic publications as well as on available Anglo-American research studies. The author reconstructs the picture of the events of the Amistad mutiny and the subsequent trial, focusing on the identification of causal connections and the characteristics of the main stages of the 1839–41 events. In the last part of the article, the author reflects on the consequences and significance of the Amistad case in African-American and American history.

Это нашло проявление в серии инициатив по укреплению сотрудничества по линии «Юг — Юг». = The article considers political, economic and cultural aspects of cooperation between Brazil and countries of the African continent at the beginning of the XXI century. Relations between Brazil and African countries were formed on the basis of a common history, ethnicity, and culture that gives this Latin American country grounds to declare them as «special». Contemporary Brazilian foreign policy is characterized by an increased activity in this area. It found reflection in a series of initiatives to strengthen the «South — South» cooperation.

The review presents the data on the development of epidemic caused by Ebola virus in the West-African countries - Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Senegal, and Mali. Analyzed is also an epidemic in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, unrelated to the mentioned above outbreaks. Traced have been the chains of transmission and import of the disease (under control and out-of-control) into European and American states. Assessed are the premises for complications faced in the course of epidemic response, and the factors contributing to the wide spread of the infection. ; В обзоре отражено развитие эпидемии, вызванной вирусом Эбола, в странах Западной Африки - Либерия, Сьерра-Леоне, Нигерия, Сенегал, Мали. Рассмотрена также эпидемия в Демократической Республике Конго, не связанная с отмеченными вспышками. Прослежены пути распространения и завозные случаи (контролируемые и неконтролируемые) в страны Европы и Америки. Проанализированы причины осложнений, с которыми пришлось столкнуться при ликвидации эпидемий, и причины, способствующие широкому распространению инфекции.

The paper is dedicated to assessing the prospects of China in the struggle for the place of the new hegemon of the capitalist world-system against the background of the crisis in the American systemic cycle of capital accumulation. The authors consider the strengths and weaknesses of the PRC economy, the current form of which was acquired through its industrial development as a part of the (semi) periphery of world capitalism. It is noted that China has made significant progress in the development of the manufacturing industry. On the example of ferrous metallurgy, it is shown how the PRC carries out world expansion, successfully entering into confrontation with the countries of the core of world capitalism. China is trying to form an infrastructure of control over the European, Latin American and African regions. At the same time, the model of China's economic development, based on the exploitation of cheap labor, limits the country's ability to introduce the sixth technological order, increase labor productivity and reduce dependence on foreign markets. The possibility of resolving such contradictions largely lies in the political plane and depends on the alignment of forces in the head of the Communist Party of China, which sets the vector of the country's socio-economic development.

Восстание Ната Тернера, произошедшее в августе 1831 года в округе Саутгемптон, штат Вирджиния, является одним из самых знаковых и в то же время хорошо изученных и задокументированных событий американской истории. Тем не менее, можно с уверенностью утверждать, что в отечественной американистике должного внимания ему никогда не уделялось. До настоящего времени не вышло ни одного масштабного исследования. Даже сам ход восстания в русскоязычной литературе описан крайне поверхностно и, в основном, в публицистических работах, являющихся в большинстве своем переводом или компиляцией нескольких американских журналистских материалов. В данной статье автор попытался восполнить указанный пробел и восстановить общую картину и хронику событий, опираясь на источники и работы ведущих зарубежных специалистов по направлению «Афроамериканская история» (Black History) ⁎ . В статье подробно прослеживается маршрут продвижения группы мятежников по округу Саутгемптон и основные события, происходившие в активной фазе восстания, т.е. в период с 22 часов 21 августа до 5 часов утра 23 августа 1831 г. При этом вопросы выявления причин и предпосылок, а также непосредственной подготовки восстания автор намеренно опускает, фокусируясь исключительно на описании хода вооруженного выступления рабов. Автором предложена собственная периодизация восстания, а также определен круг причин его поражения.
Nat Turner's Rebellion that took place in Southampton County, Virginia, in August 1831 is one of the most iconic and at the same time well-studied and documented events in American history. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that Russian American studies have never paid due attention to this issue. Not a single major study has been published so far. Even the course of the rebellion is described in Russian-language literature in a superficial manner mainly in popular science and journalistic works, which are mostly translations or compilations of several American journalistic materials. In this article, the author tried to fill this gap and to reconstruct the overall picture and chronicle of events, relying on the sources and works of leading foreign experts in the field of African American History (Black History).⁎ The article retraces in detail the advance of the rebel group through Southampton County and the main events that took place in the active phase of the rebellion, i.e. in the period between 10 p.m. on August 21 and 5 a.m. on August 23, 1831. The author deliberately omits the questions of identifying the causes and prerequisites of the rebellion as well as its immediate preparation, focusing exclusively on the description of the course of the armed slave uprising. The author proposes his own periodization of the rebellion and also determines the range of reasons for its defeat.

The article considers the phenomenon of social science debates in the form of the opposition 'West/Non-West' and its social-political and identification consequences. The authors focus on the history of this opposition, the ways to overcome the scientific and social confrontations that were determined by it, and on the methodological significance of the concept 'Non-Western theories'. The authors study the features of social and political knowledge of the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America; compare social values of Western Europe, China and other countries to identify the ways for its integration in the course of postcolonial political and scientific development. In particular, the article compares the axio-logical triad of T. Heuss (democracy, Roman law, Christian ethics) and the Chinese dyad — the will of the people (minxin suoxiang) and three convents (sāngāng). Within the West/Non-West opposition, the Western European, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, African, Latin-American social-political constructs are considered to assess the productivity of some categorical oppositions and contaminations adopted in the sphere of social knowledge and to prove the theoretical inconsistency of multiculturalism. The authors also consider the issues of eurocentrism and Western-European messianism on the examples of their relationship with Sino-Centrism, and the ideas of African and Latin-American nationalism. Such comparisons prove the metatheoretical status of the 'West/Non-West' opposition that can be explained within the paradigm of the social construction of reality. The authors conclude that the concepts 'West' and 'Non-West' do not have a truly scientific status; they are rather markers of social values claiming a special identification value, i.e. having a direct relation to self-representation. The concepts 'West' and 'Non-West' are a kind of political declarations tather than an evidence of epistemological differences in the foundations of social knowledge in different parts of the globe. © K.V. Статья посвящена выяснению причин и последствий неудачной попытки отстранения от власти вооруженным путем президента Габонской Республики Али Бонго Ондимбы. Автор рассматривает ситуацию в Габоне в широком геополитическом контексте и увязывает январские события 2019 г. с политическими процессами в Центральноафриканской Республике и Демократической Республике Конго. Особый акцент сделан на роли Франции, США, России и Китая в борьбе за право участвовать в освоении природных богатств африканских стран и за геостратегическое доминирование в странах субсахарской Африки. Автор рассматривает различные точки зрения на то, кто мог инициировать вооруженный мятеж в Либревиле, но сам при этом склоняется к версии, согласно которой за путчем могут стоять США. В пользу этого предположения говорит то обстоятельство, что А. Бонго на встрече с президентом России Владимиром Путиным в июле 2018 г. высказался за наращивание присутствия России и Китая в африканских странах вообще и в Габонской Республике в частности. Появление американских солдат в Габоне автор объясняет стремлением Вашингтона не допустить расширения военного сотрудничества этой страны с Российской Федерацией, с одной стороны, и намерением дестабилизировать ситуацию в соседней Демократической Республике Конго — с другой. ; The article seeks to clarify the causes and consequences of the unsuccessful attempt to remove from power by force the President of the Gabonese Republic Ali Bongo Ondimba. The author considers the situation in Gabon in a broad geopolitical context and links the events of January 2019 with the political processes in the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He emphasizes the role of France, the USA, Russia and China looking for the access to the natural resources of African countries and conquering for the geostrategic dominance in the countries of sub-Saharan Africa. The author considers various points of view on who could initiate an armed insurgency in Libreville, but he himself is inclined to the version according to which the United States can stand behind the coup. This assumption is supported by the fact that, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in July 2018, A. Bongo spoke in favor of increasing the presence of Russia and China in African countries in general and in Gabon Republic in particular. The author explains the appearance of American soldiers in Gabon by Washington's desire to prevent the expansion of military cooperation of this country with the Russian Federation, on the one hand, and its intention to destabilize the situation in the neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the other.

The revision of the centuries-old culture of relationships between people in the implementation of sexual orientations and attitudes, the needs for ensuring racial equality, which is taking place in several countries around the world, requires proper sociological analysis, as it affects hundreds of millions of people. Some propose to change the established ideas about the influence of nature on human behaviour when communicating with representatives of the other sex, race. In the mass media, in the statements of politicians, the idea of refusing to name people based on their belonging to the male or female sex began to be approved. It should be determined not on the basis of visible natural features but constructed by a new gender culture. In 2020C, changes in interpreting the role of the natural and the socio-cultural in racial relations resulted in the emergence of new methods of fighting for equality between whites and blacks. The ideology of expanding the advantages of African Americans in all spheres of public life, "repentance" of whites for the fact that among their ancestors were slave owners, is spreading. The article shows that what unites these two processes is an attempt to redefine the role of the nature-given external differences of people in shaping a culture of interaction between the two sexes, of different races, both in the past and at present. From an analysis of the history of relations between men and women, people depending on their skin colour, it is concluded that individuals adopt and implement norms, rules of behaviour that do not lead to the violent suppression of what is given to them by nature. The policy of constructing a new person, guided by the norms of culture, forcing the complete rejection of what is set by nature, as well as was created by previous generations, leads to the destruction of the entire historically established system of organizing people's social life. ; Происходящий в ряде стран мира пересмотр веками существовавшей культуры взаимоотношений между людьми при реализации сексуальных ориентаций и установок, потребностей в обеспечении расового равенства требует специального социологического анализа, так как затрагивает сотни миллионов людей. Предлагается изменить устоявшиеся представления о влиянии природы на поведение человека при общении с представителями другого пола, расы. В средствах массовой информации, в заявлениях политиков стала утверждаться идея об отказе называть людей, исходя из их принадлежности к мужскому или женскому полу. Он должен определяться не на основе видимых природных особенностей, а исходя из сконструированных новой гендерной культурой. Изменения в трактовках роли природного и социокультурного в отношениях между представителями разных рас выразились в 2020 году в появлении новых методов борьбы за равенство между белыми и чернокожими. Распространяется идеология расширения преимуществ афроамериканцев во всех сферах общественной жизни, «покаяния» белых за то, что среди их предков были рабовладельцы. В статье показано, что объединяет эти два процесса попытка пересмотреть роль природой заданных внешних отличий людей в формировании культуры взаимодействия представителей двух полов, разных рас как в прошлом, так и в настоящее время. На основе анализа истории развития взаимоотношений между мужчинами и женщинами, людьми в зависимости от цвета кожи делается вывод, что индивиды принимают и реализуют те нормы, правила поведения, которые не ведут к насильственному подавлению того, что дано им природой. Политика конструирования нового человека, руководствующегося нормами культуры, принуждающей к полному отказу от того, что задано природой, а также было создано предшествующими поколениями, ведет к разрушению всей исторически сложившейся системы организации общественной жизни людей.

The article, based on British documents, shows the mechanism for building the British colonial policy after the Suez crisis of 1956 during the first Cabinet of Harold Macmillan. In this period (1957-1959), the new Prime Minister made a special emphasis on strengthening the Anglo-American partnership in the colonial sphere and promoting integration initiatives for the colonies and the territories that are gaining independence. These questions have been poorly studied in Russian historiography, but their detailed analysis helps to understand how the degree of prioritization within the well-known concept of Winston Churchill "three majestic circles" of British foreign policy has changed and the process of ousting the imperial sphere from second to third place after Anglo-American relations and European affairs has occurred. The author shows that the new Conservative government, having comprehended the results of the Suez operation that was disappointing for Great Britain, recognized decolonization as a fait accompli, but tried not to force events in the colonial sphere. By 1957 the imperial possessions of Britain continued to be impressive. The chain reaction of the decolonization processes that began in Asia in the 1950s covered the African territories, and H. Macmillan saw as his prime task a preventing the acceleration of the collapse of the colonial system in this part of the globe. Conservatives, continuing to comprehend the profound consequences of the Suez crisis and the colonial experience of other countries, especially France with its failure in Indochina and the ongoing war in Algeria, tried not to delay the granting of independence to the colonies and to keep pace with the times. This understanding of colonial affairs in the UK did not mean a weakening of control; rather, on the contrary, it was necessary to closely monitor the processes taking place in order to preserve the liberated territories in the British and in the whole western orbit of influence during the cold war. Particularly attentive attitude of H. Macmillan personally to these issues showed that the Prime Minister was sensitive to the course of time and rapid changes in the role of the newly free Afro-Asian states in world affairs. ; На материале британских документов в статье показан механизм выстраивания колониального курса Великобритании после Суэцкого кризиса 1956 г. в период первого кабинета Г. Макмиллана. В этот период (1957–1959 гг.) новый премьер-министр сделал особый упор на укрепление англо-американского партнерства в колониальной сфере и выдвижение интеграционных инициатив в отношении колоний и обретающих независимость территорий. Эти вопросы слабо изучены в отечественной историографии, однако их детальный анализ помогает понять, каким образом менялась степень приоритетности внутри известной концепции У. Черчилля о трех окружностях внешней политики Великобритании и как происходил процесс вытеснения имперской сферы со второго на третье место после англо-американских отношений и европейских дел. Автор показывает, что новое правительство консерваторов, осмыслив неутешительные для Великобритании итоги Суэцкой операции, признало деколонизацию свершившимся фактом, но стремилось не форсировать события в колониальной сфере. К 1957 г. имперские владения Британии продолжали оставаться внушительными. Цепная реакция начавшихся процессов деколонизации в Азии в 1950-е гг. охватила африканские территории, и свою главную задачу Г. Макмиллан видел в том, чтобы предотвратить ускорение темпов распада колониальной системы в этой части земного шара. Консерваторы, продолжая осмыслять глубокие последствия Суэцкого кризиса и колониального опыта других стран, прежде всего Франции с ее провалом в Индокитае и продолжающейся войной в Алжире, старались не затягивать сроки предоставления независимости колониям и идти в ногу со временем. Такое понимание колониальных дел в Великобритании не означало ослабление контроля, скорее наоборот, следовало максимально пристально отслеживать происходящие в процессы с тем, чтобы сохранить освобождающиеся территории в британской и в целом западной орбите влияния в условиях холодной войны. Особо внимательное отношение лично Г. Макмиллана к этим вопросам показывало, что премьер-министр чутко реагировал на ход времени и стремительные изменения роли освободившихся афро-азиатских государств в мировых делах.

In particular, the main trends in the development of world politics are analyzed through the prism of the main theories of international relations, such as: political realism, liberalism, neorealism and neoliberalism, as well as constructivism and feminism. Along with this, the manual introduces the regional and global developments in the post-Soviet space, Europe, the Middle East, as well as in the Asia-Pacific, Latin American and African regions. Special emphasis is placed on the geopolitical priorities of Armenia and the South Caucasus. The course ends with lectures on the technological developments of our time, their impact on international relations, as well as models for the formation of a strategy for a secure Future. ; Учебно-методическое пособие посвящено основным проблемам современной мировой политики и международных от-ношений. Наряду с этим, пособие знакомит с региональными и глобальными развитиями на постсоветском пространстве, Европе, Ближнем Востоке, а также в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском, Латиноамериканском и Африканском регионах. Особый акцент ставится на геополитические приоритеты Армении и Южного Кавказа. Курс завершается лекциями, посвященными технологическим развитиям современности, их влиянию на международные отношения, а также моделям формирования стратегии безопасного Будущего.

The research on women's history presented in this publication supplements the gap existing in polish historiography. The gap includes not only knowledge about the activities of women's organizations associated in the Women's International Democratic Federation (including the polish Social-Civic League of Women). The same applies to the assessment of the role of women in political, social and cultural changes taking place in Poland (and in the world) in the first years after the end of World War II. The main purpose of this publication is to show the historical conditions of the activities of the Social-Civic League of Women, as well as similar organizations in other European, African and North American countries. The basic source used in the research process is the monthly «Praca Kobiet» (and additionally the periodical «Nasza Praca»). The work uses a methodology typical for studies based on press sources. Their list includes the following methods: analytical-empirical, deductive-nomological, deductive-hypothetical and classical method of content analysis. The effect of the undertaken research is to establish that the information articles on the activities of organizations associated in the Women's International Democratic Federation published on the pages of the «Praca Kobiet» monthly were in fact agitation and propaganda. The polish feminist press manipulated facts and thus influenced the formation of pro-communist and anti-Western views of women. The topic is not exhausted and needs to be continued. Further research will require a wider use of press sources not only from Poland, but also from other countries.
