The purpose of our research was to analyze a rehousing operation involving the inhabitants of the Ben M'Sik slum in Casablanca. The analysis of this residential transformation is part of a general problem of "relocation" which observes and questions the practices and the meaning of the various socio-spatial ruptures and rearrangements and transformations at the micro-social scale. It articulates three orders of reality: territoriality, social bond and ethos. Du fait de sa position institutionnelle d'anthropologue travaillant dans une Ong, l'auteur a cher-ché dans sa pratique de recherche à combiner les deux dimensions des sciences sociales : le dévoilement des réalités complexes liées aux interventions de développement et l'accompagnement de praticiens dans leurs apprentissages. Issu d'un travail de réflexivité, ce mémoire revient sur les grandes étapes de sa trajectoire scientifique, tente un " essai de théorie de sa pratique ", propose les fondements d'un questionnement théorique autour des interventions de développement comme forme d'action publique, couplant les dilemmes de l'intervention sociale dans les espaces marginaux, bien analysés par l'analyse des politiques publiques dans les pays industrialisés, et les contradictions des interventions dans les " pays sous régime d'aide " où, du fait d'une histoire coloniale et post-coloniale, l'aide internationale, ses financements, ses transferts de modèles, ses institutions, sont devenus un élément structurant des dynamiques sociales et politiques.

In their development project analyses, some anthropologists refuse the symmetrical principle of questioning "developers" with the same understanding that they give to the populations they usually study. On the basis of two cases, this article shows that this leads to unrigorous demonstrations and biased interpretations. While affirming such a principle of symmetry, many French development anthropology works tend to neglect institutional arrangements and the analysis of developer practices and representations. Such an omission leaves in the dark important parts of what constitutes development intervention (institutional configurations, reflexibility of development agents, projects as socio-technical arrangements, etc.), the analysis of which sheds light on the reality of interventions and their effects. ; International audience When studying development projects, some anthropologists refuse to investigate symmetrically " developed " and " developers ", with the same weberian comprehensive postulate they claim for the populations they usually study. Analyzing two cases, this paper shows that this leads to non rigorous demonstration and biased interpretation. While they claim such a symmetric methodology, numbers of studies in French development anthropology tend to neglect the institutional frameworks of development projects and developers' concrete practices and representations. The criticisms concern principally the lack of distanciation in relation at the subject in the methodology approach, the subject itself wich should be dominated by the silent partner, and the results incompletes and sidestepped because of being expected in the order form.Supported by more of 20 years of experience in applied anthropology, mainly regarding politics and city organisation, this paper pretend to claim that taking elementaries precautions during the negociation of the order and in relation with the silent partner, not only the applied anthropology is very similar to the fundamental one but also it put on the action in the heart of the research and encourage the political actors to think their choices. ; La question de la légitimité de la recherche appliquée n'est pas récente, principalement en sciences humaines. In Laos, the 1980-1990s were marked by important transformations of the peasantry, related on one hand, to the policy of resettlement of mountain villages in the lowlands and on the other, to the acceleration of the Laotian economy. These changes had different impacts on village societies and are examined here using an original approach, combining ethnography, human geography and rural economy as applied to six villages of one of the most dynamic intra-mountainous basins in the country, the Vang Vieng basin. The villages were selected according to several criteria of differentiation such as: the distance from a town; ethnic identity; date of establishment, and; the predominant economic dynamics: transition to a commercial culture; emergence of mining activity, and; urban development linked to tourism and commerce. Furthermore, two of these villages underwent economic audits in 1967, offering an exceptional historic benchmark. The reevaluation of their situation, after a forty year interval, permits an improved understanding of the impact of district and national development policies on the village institutions and activities. Finally, a study of the history of relationships between the Taï and Mountain people is presented. This analyses multi-ethnic social interactions and characteristics at the basin level, incorporating a Laotian national identity, the remaining ethnic identities and the emergence of a common identity based on territory. ; Au Laos, les années 1980-1990 furent marquées par d'importantes transformations de la paysannerie, liées d'une part à la politique de déplacement des villages montagnards vers les basses terres et d'autre part, au " décollage " de l'économie laotienne. Enfin, le recours à une histoire des relations entre populations taï et montagnardes permet d'analyser la formation et les caractéristiques d'un espace social pluriethnique à l'échelle du bassin, associant processus de laocisation, maintien d'identités ethniques particulières et émergence d'une identité territoriale commune.

Healer ethnography - Methods and reflections
After a review of the characteristics and objectives of social anthropology, André Julliard defines the social anthropology of illness applied here to healers and to their gift as a global analysis of illness and explains its meaning in this kind of therapy which answers the question : why am I ill ? Illness, and at the origin there is always a human error, is then considered as an elementary form of the event.
Then the author touches on the question of the transmission of the gift placed between belief and social reality. The relation between the healer and his prayer is not an esoteric one. It is not an initiation 'rite either. The point is, fundamentally, to be on neighbourly terms with the others in the village.

Intercultural communication : the creation of a new discipline.
Intercultural communication, a university discipline which appeared in the United-States at the end of the 60s, is the scientific study of the barriers to communication between individuals of different cultures and sub-cultures.
This field of research opened when the two trends relating to culture and communication overlapped from 1965 onwards. Intercultural communication, in order to build up its object and to assert its legitimacy, relies on a certain number of subdisciplines derived from contemporary, cultural anthropology : cognitive anthropology and symbolics in particular. It also gives great importance to the phenomenological alternative which inspires the social theory of today (ethnome-thodology applied to the school sector, for instance).
Intercultural communication is particularly interesting for the world of education, international management and all the institutions concerned with the improvement of interethnic relations.
The intermixing of populations in the world of today will more and more impose the development of serious scientific studies in this field.

Cet article porte sur la notion d'« authenticité » appliquée au patrimoine des« vins de terroir ». Ces dix dernières années, des vignerons accusent la législation des AOC(Appellations d'Origine Contrôlées) de ne plus protéger les terroirs et de laisser les mauvaisespratiques des vignerons les pervertir. Le retour vers la qualité de terroir repose donc laquestion de l'identification de la nature authentique de ce patrimoine alimentaire. Pour menercette approche réflexive, une première partie est consacrée à une revue de littérature sur lanotion d'« authenticité ». Une seconde partie analyse les questions et les pratiques déployéespar les vignerons pour retrouver l'« authenticité » des terroirs exprimée par les vins ; et enfinles difficultés rencontrées au moment de concevoir une procédure de jugement de cettedernière. L'article montre que loin d'être une donnée objective non discutable, ou bien unesimple illusion, l'« authenticité » des vins de terroir est un résultat attaché à l'ensemble desactivités qui la font advenir. ; This article concerns the notion of authenticity applied to the heritage of "localwines ". These last ten years, wine growers accuse the legislation of the AOC (protecteddesignation of origin) of not protecting any more land and of letting the bad practices of thewine growers corrupt them. The return towards the quality of soil thus rests the question ofthe identification of the authentic nature of these foodheritages. To lead this reflexiveapproach, a first part expose a review of literature based on the notion of authenticity. Then itanalyzes the interrogation and the practices deployed by the wine growers to find theauthenticity of land expressed by wines; and finally the difficulties met at the time ofconceiving a procedure of judgment of this last one. The article show that far from being adatum already objectivizes there, either a simple illusion, the authenticity of wines is a resultattached to all the activities which make it happen.
