O artigo apresenta um desenredar do conceito de hibridização cultural e sua relação intersticial com a mídia, sobretudo em um contexto de nação, no caso, o Brasil. Todavia, por compreender que há uma complexidade e abrangência semântica, social e histórica acerca dos termos cultura e hibridismo (quiçá hibridismo cultural) é que se propõe apresentar as acepções dos termos, fazendo um recorte, no qual se reporta às ideias centrais dos mesmos dentro de uma perspectiva dos estudos pós-coloniais imbuída das teorias da comunicação, para então deslindar a participação da mídia tanto como elemento constituinte desta realidade social como o que 'ancora' essa construção de hibridismos culturais.
Partindo de uma perspectiva intercultural, este artigo pretende cartografar algumas práticas de alunos e grupos de alunos em sala de aula, a conhecida bagunça, comumente tratadas como prejudiciais ao ensino e organização escolares. Baseando-se na reconstrução documentária de grupos de discussão e entrevistas com alunos do quinto ano de diferentes sistemas escolares (público e privado no Brasil e escolas de baixa e alta qualificação educacionais na Alemanha), discutiremos o conceito de bagunça considerando a sua função social em relação à constituição de grupos de amigos, à carreira escolar e a um descontentamento ou crítica do aluno sobre qualidade de ensino. Função esta que se diferencia e configura de acordo com o contexto social, econômico e cultural do aluno revelando-se, muitas vezes, como sua voz face à obsolescência e ao fracasso da instituição escolar. Do ponto de vista metodológico, empregamos o método de pesquisa qualitativa relacionada a investigações interculturais assim como o método de triangulação sobre o material cultural relacionado.
The Brazilian anthropology has focused on multiculturalism, social diversity and economic inequality in the country. Anthropological studies on these issues have greatly contributed to inserting it into broader debates about Brazilian social problems. This article deals with a report taken from two semesters teaching experience of the Integrated Activities of Collective Health II discipline for second period bachelor's degree students of the graduate course in collective health of Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. The discipline aims at discussing emerging social problems in Brazilian society such as racism, religious intolerance, health of the transsexual population and domestic violence. Through conversations with activists and meetings in militance sites, students engage in participant observation and know their struggles and demands. Introducing important concepts to anthropology, such as ethnocentrism, relativism and social movements, it is intended to stimulate a critical reflection on contemporary social dilemmas in the students. The debates, reports and experiences exchanges emerged during the discipline course reveal that anthropology has a lot to contribute to a more dialogical formation and action of these future public health workers among the population of whom they will take care, besides favoring a more applied understanding on the impact of the social inequalities on the health-disease process. ; A antropologia brasileira tem se debruçado sobre o multiculturalismo, a diversidade social e a desigualdade econômica no país. Os estudos antropológicos sobre essas questões muito contribuíram para inseri-las nos debates mais amplos sobre os problemas sociais brasileiros. Este artigo trata de um relato de experiência de ensino em duas ofertas da disciplina Atividades Integradas em Saúde Coletiva (Aisc) II para bacharelandos do segundo período do curso de graduação em saúde coletiva da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. A disciplina busca trazer à discussão problemas sociais emergentes da sociedade brasileira, como racismo, intolerância religiosa, saúde da população transexual e violência doméstica. Por meio de rodas de conversa com ativistas e visitas a locais de militância, os alunos realizam observação participante e conhecem suas lutas e reivindicações. Introduzindo conceitos caros à antropologia, como etnocentrismo, relativismo e movimentos sociais, pretende-se estimular nos estudantes uma reflexão crítica sobre dilemas sociais contemporâneos. Os debates, os relatos e as trocas de experiências advindos no decorrer da disciplina mostram que a antropologia tem muito a contribuir para uma formação e atuação mais dialógica desses futuros sanitaristas com as populações às quais prestarão cuidado, além de favorecer uma compreensão mais aplicada do impacto das desigualdades sociais no processo saúde-doença.
The present article proposes an analysis concerning possible transformations of work based upon the concept of temporality. It considers the comprehension of the time category by the social sciences since the elaboration of the concept of social time to the construction of a dominant time. Considering the above mentioned aspects end temporality while a central aspect of the social structure, the article tries to understand that temporality while must be seen as a key element in the study of the changes of the work reality.
Objective: To evaluate the user satisfaction of the family health strategy in Santa Cruz / RN and analyze the implantation consequences of PSF in the health of the local population. Method: It was conducted an exploratory descriptive study with qualitative boarding, with data obtained from structured interview applied on users in the period October 2010 to September 2011. Results: High levels of satisfaction in relation to access, waiting time, service and infrastructure, in addition to significant dissatisfaction related to the marking of examinations and participation of the population in the management of the unit. Conclusion: It is suggested improvements in the integration of UBS with other levels of care, and the implementation of projects that make the active population within units.

Science and arts, apparently, would be in opposite sides of the spectrum of the human knowledge. A closer look, however, reveals a relationship of more proximity than detachment. Photography is one of the areas that allows to point that the boundaries between this two fields of knowledge are less evident than we can imagine. That is discussion we make in this text, by analyzing the use of photography in the search of the expansion of the human knowledge about the Universe.
This paper aimed to study about bus driver's occupational stress. This issue - stress - has been extensively studied, being a facilitator in the development of numerous diseases and impairing the quality of life and productivity of individuals. Aims: This work also investigated the factors that affect the relationship between man/work and aimed to identify the stage of stress and symptoms. The health problems related to work, which are more common among drivers, in semi-urban passengers transportation service, were studied as well, in a company called "Viação Javaé", in Gurupi, state of Tocantins, Brazil. Methods: Lipp's Inventory of Stress Symptoms for Adults - ISSL - and demographic questionnaire were applied. Eight drivers were targets of this research and their responses were transcribed into charts and graphs. Results: Several causative factors of drivers' job stress were identified and grouped into three classifications: working conditions, vehicle conditions and interpersonal relations with passengers. The stress levels found were low, because the vast majority - 78% of the subjects - were not stressed at the time of application of the instrument. The presence of stress was found in only 22% of subjects, and these were in the resistance stage, with physical symptoms. Back problems were the most common among the drivers. Final Considerations: We conclude this paper by saying that it is almost impossible to avoid stress in our lives, but change the adverse conditions at work, as well as lifestyle, are ways to face it more appropriately and intelligently.
