Politics of memory in the works of Rosângela Rennó: body, trauma and anachronism
This article establishes a discussion in the scope of memory policies based on two works of Rosângela Rennó: Cicatriz and Imemorial. The works are analyzed through a hybrid understanding of memory, articulating concepts from Sigmund Freud and Walter Benjamin, as well as from authors that allow us to relaunch issues related to the body, trauma and anachronism, such as Hannah Arendt, Didi-Huberman, Grada Kilomba and Márcio Seligmann-Silva. Through the artist's works, we revisit and articulate the bodies and the history traumas, both marked by exclusion, forgetfulness and silence. We also emphasize the need for narratives capable of harboring their marks and elaborating new possibilities of existence. In this way, we seek to expand the reverberations of the inexorable marks of bodies and times.

'Human Unhumans'. Ageing, Dying and the Body Nostalgic in Kazuo Ishiguro and Hanif Kureishi
In one of his Treatises on Government, John Locke stated that «every Man has a Property in his own Person». The complex articulation of this apparently matter-of-fact argument has haunted the Western cultural imaginary, and has been transformed into numerous literary texts and figures. Ever since Mary Shelley started investigating an ante-litteram Foucauldian «unfolding»of life, the issues related to the «immortalization of the flesh and the amortization of the body»have become growingly relevant. In this paper, I shall aim at investigating the literary versions of the biopolitics of owning and disowning bodies, of ageing and dying offered by Kazuo Ishiguro, namely in his celebrated Never Let Me Go, and by Hanif Kureishi, who dedicated his novella "The Body" to an interrogation of the marketable value of human bodies and body parts.

Rethinking the didactic through body and movement ; Ripensare la didattica disciplinare attraverso il corpo ed il movimento
As the World Health Organization has pointed out, in the contemporary worldthere are more and more cases of overweight and obese young people. These problems are seriously tackled by the recent legislation of educationand training system (Law 107/2015), with particular regard to the preventionof obesity and stressing the importance of the physical and dietary education.Schools are, indeed, the place where it is possible to improve thehabits of the future citizen. Therefore to what extent is learning-teaching process related to body element? After a general introduction, the essay presents some considerations, regarding the international discoveries about the school system:those could be essential ideas for the didactic renovation and for the professionalismof teachers.

The "Powers" of the Dancing Body. Philosophical Cues on the Symbolic Dimension of Dance Starting from Susanne Langer and Daniel Stern ; The "powers" of the dancing body. Philosophical cues on the symbolic dimension of dance starting from Susanne Langer and Daniel Stern ; I "poteri" del corpo che dan...
In Feeling and Form (1953) philosopher Susanne K. Langer elaborated one of the most interesting philosophical reflections on the symbolic nature of dance. The present article further elaborates on these reflections and integrates them into the analyses by Daniel Stern and Rudolf von Laban. The final aim is understanding how the symbolic character of dance can be concretely articulated through body, movement and space. The main argument of the essay is that dance is able to express awareness of life as a whole. Originally, the ecological dimension (being part of nature), the political dimension (belonging to a community) and the ecstatic dimension (being part of a whole) would all be intimately bonded. This bond would be represented by dance, which may be called «the most serious intellectual activity of primitive life ».

Citizenship education in pluralist Europe through the promotion of well-being within the community body. Strategie e metodologie formative
Today, talking about citizenship education means dealing with examples of multiculturalism and intercultural education. In this regard, the sense of belonging to a community through an effective contribution to its construction is very important. In the pluralist European Union therefore, promoting the civic sense of belonging to the social body is possible if we start from an awareness of being an active part of it. Through a targeted training project in schools, it is possible to identify the substantial resources and opportunities that derive from an awareness of being part of the same community body.
