; The State is an entire of the institutions. The State should be interested in looking after the national society inside its own borders as well as in the larger societies existing outside wherein it should be sustainable its existence. The State takes the administration within its borders into its own monopoly. Such a situtation is a trend to create a common political culture being shared by all the citizens. The nation-state can be defined as a State having the right of employing any legal power inside a piece of o the land the borders of which have been demarcated and aiming to the integration to enliven the radical myth through the traditions by creating the common culture, symbols and values, all of which will homogenize the people under its administration. What the nation ? state is to centralize the state or poltical power , and standardize the culture, and provide the equality in law and the integration in economy. The understanding of sovereignity today in the world is defined, in general, as the right of any State for employing its powers of administration upon the country?s lands. This concept has a lawful meaning as well as a political meaning; and these two meanings are interchangeable with each other. Sovereignity represents the power of the State. As long as the nations enter into collaboration with each other, the sovereignity comes into question.Globalization is a concept containing the issues being connected with each other such as the development of economic, social and political relationships among the countries, and the better understanding the beliefs and expectations of the nations? cultures, and the intensification of international relationships. The process of globalization diminishes the power and efficiency of the governments being within the structure of nation-state; so such governments have difficulty in controlling the flow of economic objects, technological innovations, informaton, news and ideas, and the possibility of the nation-states for following up their national economic policies decrease gradually. The phenomenon of globalization puts the fact that the countries participate in the organizations guarding and protecting their common intersets and benefits at a supranational level into foreground in one hand, and makes new models of governance compulsory at both national and also supranational levels in the other hand.Today in the world, there are many forces challenging to the established models and practices of the state dominance. Such forces are globalization and internationalism. The European Union is a sui generis ınternational restructuring with its organizational structure being formed in line with both its goals and also with reaching such goals, which cannot be observed in any international organization. The most important feature making the European Community sui generis and distinguishing from other organizatons is to try to reach the goals thus determined through the formed structural (constitutional) and permanent bodies instead of the inter-governmental attempts. The tasks, authorizations, powers and responsibilities of the institutions of the European Union have been determined within the scope of the constitutive treaties. The institutions which such treaties give the authorization of making the supranational arrangement, application and judgement (such as Council, Commission, Committee, the European Community Court of Justice) can be also evaluated as the supranational authorities among the nations being included in the European countries Likewise, in the same way, both the law of treaties constituting such institutions and also the law which it has made have the same effect in the member states, and the fact that such laws cannot be changed and do away with unitalerally by the member states has developed the approach that the law of the European Union is supranational.Despite the European Union does not duly shelter the main elements of a state one to one within its own structure, it has been employing some powers similar to the ones being applied by any state state, and particularly by any federal state, and trying to form a constitutional citizenship. It has separated the powers of legislation, execution and judgment from each other within the framework of the division of powers, and created the separate bodies for each of such powers, and tied the functionality and operation of the same to the constituent treaties and law principles with the constitution. It gives its individuals the freedom of using the fundamental rights as well as of seeking such rights within the context of the Condition of the European Union Fundamental Rights. It has made the share of powers and authorizations with its member states, and included the same in the text of the constitution.
; Persia and Ottomans, who shared common geography for nearly seven centuries, tried to keep alive their relations, which they couldn't base on sound grounds due to differences in Sect, political and social matters, by means of a set of agreements and alliance sought between two parties couldn't reach intended level as a result of sectarian disagreement hindering practical politics and exploitation of this segregation by global powers. Important cause of disagreements occurring between two parties was that, the political borders between these two old states, which were neighbors for a long period, couldn't be given definite status. This situation caused small scale skirmishes along the borderlines, especially as a result of violations by nomadic tribes and the most damage was suffered by merchants active in the region. In this article, the border problems of Persia and Ottomans will be studied in the light of first-hand sources and attention will be drawn to negative reflections of political and diplomatic crises caused by these disagreements. For, the unpreventable border disagreements between two parties obstructed Iran [Qajar] and Ottomans, who were under the yoke of global powers in political conjuncture of 19. Century, from solidarity and alliance rather than being cause of war and as a result, it was Western imperialist powers who took advantage of this animosity.
; Nationalism', as one of the three significant principles of the French Revolution from 1789, has turned to be a significant reason behind the beginning of the destruction process of multinational empires. The including many different nations Ottoman Empire was not an exception. It was also negatively affected by the nationalist movement; and the first state to gain its independence was Greece. After Turkey's 'Independence War' the two fighting against each other sides started becoming closer. Turkey's inclusion in the Cyprian political problem in 1955 has officially put an end to this 'closeness' and since then the relationship between the countries has not improved, the good neighbourly relations have not become the same. After years of pain and hardship in 1983 the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was established. Along with the strong disagreement between the two states about Cyprus, many other kept in the background problems and issues such as territorial waters, continental borders, airspace, armament of the Aegean islands, Western Thrace and the Patriarchate have reoccurred and been associated with the Cyprian problem. In response to the Cyprus Peace Operation from 1974, Greece tried to spread its influence on the Cyprian problem by becoming a member of the European Economic Community and focusing the members' attention to Greece's interpretation of the negotiation process. Representing the entire island Greek Cyprus joined the European Union in 2004 and the Turks on the island were simply ignored. Not only have the resolution of the Cyprian dispute, but also the solving of the Aegean problems become preconditions for Turkey's admission to the European Union. Greece is ignorant to Turkey's safety concerns in the Aegean Sea region and only acts in its own interest. In order to solve this problems it is necessary to implement practices based on fair principles from which both sides will benefit. However, what the European Union usually expects is only Turkey's compromise. Solution to the problematic issues in that region can be reached only by each side making concessions.
; The importance of country borders within the national security policy has begun to diminish continuously with the acceleration of the globalization process in recent years. With globalization, the power distribution channels of the countries have been reshaped; asymmetrical power relations have emerged and the needs for national security of countries have been redefined. Technological developments in recent years have disclosed the concept of cyber security and cyber security has become an important element of the national security of countries. The structure of the Internet that exceeds the borders of countries, the use of internet networks in the critical infrastructures of the state and in the execution of public services beyond the individual services and objectives, and the increasing e-government applications have further reinforced the importance of cyber security in national security. In this context, the study comparatively examined the cyber security policies of the USA, Russia and China particularly on the basis of official policy documents published in these three countries and such an analysis is presented.
Önder, Hatice Burcu (Arel Author) ; For centuries, countries have always communicated with each other, such as wars, political and economic power struggles, outbreaks, migrations, border changes, technical developments. This communication is sometimes caused by reasons such as political or economic power struggles. Today, countries have to deal with the developments, trade, social, cultural exchanges that are happening within the borders of each other. It is necessary for one country to have a good place in the international arena. Counties need to gain a positive place in international communication. Providing a positive perception in the international arena will feed countries in commercial, economic and political sense. Positive perception will lead to greater investment in the country, increased cooperation and ultimately achieving country interests at the final point.
With the Iast cut in world history occurring in 1989 and throughout the destruction of communist dictatorships and the Soviet World Empire, a new stage in the planetary process of globalization began, in which most countries in the world labelled themselves as democratic states, "ruled by the people". The increasing trend of 40 in 1972 up to the currently estimated 1 23 democratic countries of the 192 states registered in the United Nations may continue in the future. Speculation of various theories, such as Francis Fukuyama's The End of Hjstory and the Last Mon (1992)l , that liberal democratic nation-states were the universal standard form of human society has been disproved through the globalization process which abolished the boundaries and led liberal democracies over the state borders to a supranational world society. Transformation to global democracy threatens the fundamental principles of the former liberal nation-state democracy.
; This research is conducted to focus on the relationship of two neighbouring states Turkey and Iran, which did not have any changes on their mutual borders for 380 years, from the perspective of complex interdependence. In this context, the study examines the cooperation between the two countries during the Syrian civil war, despite the conflict of interest in the areas, the Qatar crisis and the independence referendum in northern Iraq. In spite of the conflicts between these two countries during the Syrian civil war, a dialogue was tried to be established with the Astana process. Turkey has voiced concerns about its border security and risks of a potential terror corridor near its borders and conducted operations Euphrates Shield, Olive Branch and Peace Spring; Iran has criticised these operations through the highest level officials for contradicting their best interests and these operations has been the cause of the conflict of views between these two countries. On 5 June 2017 The Qatar Diplomatic Crisis and 25 September 2017 the Northern Iraqi independence referendum both countries have cooperated and have called for unity in Qatar and Iraq. According to these developments in the region, the relationship between Turkey and Iran is explained by complex interdependence theory. Key words; Turkey, Iran, Complex Interdependence Theory, Syria, Qatar, Northern Iraq
The use of mushrooms in Turkish and World cuisines is increasing rapidly, especially in recent years, there has been a significant increase in wild mushroom picking and consumption. The aim of this study is to investigate which types of edible wild mushrooms are consumed and mushroom dishes in Giresun cuisine. In the study, qualitative research method was preferred, and the population was determined as people who know edible wild mushrooms living within the borders of Giresun province and use these mushrooms in their kitchens, who have knowledge and experience on the subject, and snowball sampling method was used. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 23 people in Giresun Bulancak, Merkez, Keşap, Eynesil, Dereli, Yaglidere, Şebinkarahisar and Alucra districts. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that Giresun province has an ancient variety of edible mushrooms and food culture, 45 mushroom species belonging to 18 families are consumed in the province and a wide variety of dishes consisting of meatballs, roasting, frying, roasting, dip and rice are made from mushrooms.

The facet of territorial and military ambitions began to lose its importance with the states starting to specialize in high value-added and intangible assets. Richard Rosecrance endeavored to formulate a novel development method for these relatively small-scale states. Instead of developing an immense domestic manufacturing capacity with traditional production methods, these 'virtual' states have followed a knowledge, artificial intelligence, and innovation-based development that emphasizes investment, high added value, and the mobility of intangible assets. Although some states did not wholly fit into the virtual state framework within the scope of Rosecrance's definition, they carried some of its characteristics. This study claims that Qatar, which has succeeded in establishing a sphere of influence beyond its borders and population, has some virtual state characteristics by merging its rich hydrocarbon resources with technology and innovation. After a theoretical review, the study claims that Qatar's virtual state characteristics have considerably mitigated the deleterious effects of the embargo imposed on Qatar by four Arab countries in 2017. The final part expands the Qatar-Turkey relationship that comes to the forefront as the field of applying these characteristics from an economic and financial perspective, contrary to the prevailing ideology and politics-based studies in the literature.
13 glass artifacts, evaluated within the scope of this study, were found from a chamber tomb unearthed in 2010 in the necropolis area of the Neapolis Ancient City, located within the borders of Yazıkent Town, Bozdoğan District, in today's Aydın Province. Among the mentioned works, there are various examples such as bowls, unguentariums and glasses, most of them; Conical body, pear-shaped body, miniature spherical body, tube-shaped and candelabra (bell) body, which is divided into various sub-types, form the vessel called unguentarium. The earliest example among the Neapolis artifacts is the bowl produced by mold making, which is understood to belong to the Hellenistic Period. All of the artifacts, except the bowl, were made by using the free blowing technique, which is thought to have originated in Syria in the 1st century BC. The works evaluated in this context; They were grouped typologically and dated as a result of analogical evaluations made with known examples in ancient glass art. It is understood that among the artifacts produced in a wide range of dates from the middle of the 2nd century BC to the 3rd century AD, especially the unguentariums are associated with burial rituals.
With worldwide progress, development and diversification come tensions between individual, local, national, and global identities, and the fight for equality and justice and opposition to discrimination. Iran is no different, but little has been written about the historical, current, and future identities of Iran's ethnic groups. This study looks at the Azeris, Kurds, Arabs, and Baloch alongside the Persian ethnic identity, which is predominant in modern Iran and which many claim is upheld politically and socially as the ideal for a future, collective Iranian ethnic identity, promoting discrimination against different ethnic identities. This theory is grounded by conducting and analysing in-depth questionnaires across 13 Iranian provinces in relation to religious, local, and national identities; inter-ethnic cultural borders; hindrances to progressive movements; the purging of certain ethnic cultures; and possible steps to resolve crises. Some data has been extracted from the author's recently published book, From Border to Border: Comprehensive research study on identity and ethnicity in Iran. This data presents practical steps to achieving stable, equitable and sustainable cultural, social, economic, legal, and political conditions in Iran, based on the results of questionnaires. Taken into consideration is the realization of economic, socio-cultural, and political justice and indiscriminate social welfare, promoting interethnic solidarity and justice in the media, separating the legal and political systems from religious and ethno-centric thought in acknowledgement of the diversity of religious identities in Iran, and implementing the pending articles of the Constitution.
; Globalization refers to the emergence of complex interrelationships in which lives are shaped by decisions and events taking place far beyond. In the process of globalization, the nation-state is one of the most important elements exposed to the most significant change and transformation. In this process, with the increasing interdependence between states, the boundaries of nation-states are constantly being crossed by transnational actors with different powers, goals, identities and networks. With the disappearance of borders, nation-states have become more affected by international security problems such as economic crises, human security, terrorism, environmental and climate problems. The aim of this study is to analyze the reasons for the erosion of sovereignty of nation-states in the process of globalization, and to emphasize the importance of cooperation due to insufficient state-alone solutions to new security problems.
