Breastfeeding is a realization of nature task and precious duty of a mother. Not all mothers are able to pass this task well, one of them is a career woman. The purpose of the study was to analyze the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding application among career women. The research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The informants were 3 breastfeeding mothers in the Pesurungan Lor village, Tegal district, Central Java province. The results of informants interviews will be obtained information about various perceptions, feelings, breastfeeding motivation, mothers knowledge and understanding, and the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding, obstacles and support during work. This information can be used as a reference for researchers in providing breastfeeding counseling to career women from pregnancy to postpartum. For the government, it could be used as an evaluation of the success of the exclusive breastfeeding program so as to contribute in increasing the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding for infants, to achieve optimal growth and health.
Abstract In the New Order era, in the late 1970s and early 1990s, the student movement was confronted with repressive actions by the government, a policy to restrict students' political activities. So the search for a new format of movement is a necessity, the study group is chosen as a new format of student movement. This research explains how the process of changing the formation of student movements from the study group to the Democratic People Party (PRD), as well as explaining the radical political activities of the PRD from the New Order until post-reform. This study is a literature study using written data. The objective of the study was to raise the role of non-mainstream party politics in the contemporary Indonesian political stage. In the context of the social movement that became the object of this study, transformation takes place in several forms. First, the change from study groups that examine critical social literature and marxism, underground, transformed into a "formal institution" movement in the form of an Action Committee and a non-governmental organization (NGO). Second, the change from the Committee of Action and Non-Governmental Organizations into a political party (PRD). Third, the change of movement format from the "resistance" party to the electoral party after the fall of the New Order government. And Fourth, change back into social movement of political party. The situation of the indigenous people becomes worsen since local government does not fully protect their rights on the forest. Even, Local government tends to defend private company and investor in addressing the conflict. Customary forest of Talang Mamak indigenous people is in the oligarchs grip and conflict of interest with their elder. The Indigenous people are in crossroad, to preserve or to release their heritage and right. This study aims to determine the efforts of Talang Mamak Indigenous People to maintain their existence in the customary forest resources battle with private company and investor. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The data collection were documentation analysis and other relevant literature. This study used Theory of Oligarchy (Winters 2011) as grounded theory. The result found that the efforts of the indigenous people to fight for their rights getting weak. Muhammadiyah is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia. The existence of Elections in Indonesia's national history were carried out several times, namely during the Old Order era, namely 1955, the New Order period 1971, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1997. Elections for a democratic country like Indonesia are very important because elections are a channel for people's aspirations. Elections that have been held in Indonesia have their own characteristics with differing democratic levels, so the truth of the argument needs to be proven in order to obtain an accurate answer. The results obtained from this study that the implementation of general elections in the Old Order period can already be categorized as democratic elections, with the many parties participating in the general election signifying the existence of freedom in political life, whereas during the New Order the democratic period faded along with the power of the Suharto regime which always curbed the political life of the Indonesian nation, the implementation of the general election during the Reformation especially the 2004 general election was more democratic because the implementation of the election could represent the aspirations of the people especially with the electoral system which was different from the previous election because with a combination of district and proportional systems then the people can know and know what people's representatives will like to channel their aspirations.
Conflict and violence was the destructive reality that showed reduction and alienated of existence humanity. The essence of human being has destruction because dominance of egoism of people's without care value of victim community. Because of that condition, the basic need to create a culture of peace as constructive reality that connected relationship between all of people is urgently. On the level individual and group, the acceptance of "the other‐self" as him/herself has destroy the wall of differences which always be source of conflict and violence. The fusion identity "we" (ingroup) and "them" (outgroup) has establish common ingroup identity as "us" in recategorization process that contribution to reduction negative aspect seems like prejudice, discrimination and stereotype. This research involve four subject with age 20‐30 years old, genre as masculin and feminin, and they have a comprehensive science about pela tradition. Other informant like a King of negeri, Kapitan negeri and all of people also involve in this research. Qualitative method with ethno‐phenomenology approach is use in this research with observation and interview as method and procedure to collect data. The result of this research showed that culture of peace can be found in local wisdom as pela tradition. The basic idea in this tradition is a common identity "saudara/orang basudara" which has calling as "ela". Pscychological dynamics occur in this perspective because the word of "ela" to contain a constructive and positive meaning that arranged relation between the groups Rohomoni‐Tuhaha. Implementation of values the culture of peace has been seen in the behavioral "saudara pela" that mutual constructive, trust, respect. This fact could be found in Molluccas conflict at 1999‐2004, pela tradition can be the media reconciliation between two groups Moslem and Christian.
Elections (elections) is one way in the democratic system to elect representatives of the people who will sit in the people's representatives and is a form of fulfillment of citizens' rights in politics. It turns out that the political process originally expected to get high participation support, it is still low public participation. The low participation of the community to vote in polling stations (TPS), was not the first phenomenon that occurred in Bungo District. It should support high and quality political participation of the community, but in fact the voter participation rate is only 69.18% who participate in voting in the election of regional head (Pilkada). In accordance with the problems studied, then this type of research is categorized as descriptive research.Given the large number of population and limited ability of the researcher then the research conducted on the sample representing the population. So the sample in this study amounted to 100 people.Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by: Interview, Questionnaire, and Documentation. The results of this research,Many factors caused a person to participate in the elections of Bungo District in 2015. From various forms of political participation, voting or voting is one form of political participation of the community. Factors influencing the political participation of the community in the Pilkada of Bungo Regency in 2015 amongst the Political Awareness of the Community as well as the Attitudes and Beliefs of the people. From the results of the questionnaire analysis there are several factors that influence a person to participate namely First, knowledge of the community environment. The percentage of people who chose to have knowledge of the vision and mission of the chosen candidate, 63 people (63%) stated "yes", while 37 people (37%) stated "no". Having knowledge of selected candidate pairs, 83 people (83%) stated "yes", while 17 people (17%) stated "no". Second, knowledge of politics. Percentage of voters attended political campaign activity, as many as 20 people (20%) stated "yes", while 80 people (80%) stated "no". Third, interest to participate in political activities. The percentage of voters whose interest to be a successful team, as many as 9 people (9%) stated "yes", while 91 people (91%) stated "no". Attitude and belief of a community of Rimbo Tengah Sub-district in Bungo District Election 2015, it is based on the results of research conducted that is concern for the progress of Bungo District with the percentage of community participation that chose because concern for the progress of Bungo Regency as many as 89 people (89%) stated "yes", while 11 people (11%) stated "no". In line with the findings discussed above, from the analysis of respondent's characteristic that factors influencing political participation in Pasir Putih Urban Village are knowledge about society environment, politics, and interest to participate in political activity and attitude and belief of someone to progress of region. For political party activists and political leaders, to provide more information that can be directly to the community through campaigns and deliver the vision and mission to be done if elected, so that people are confident with their choice.The KPU may conduct a good socialization activity so that the voters understand and know the candidate pairs to be elected.Keywords: Factors, political participation, Pilkada.

This research aims to examine primordialism and voting behavior of Malay ethnic during the 2005-2015 Riau Islands governor election (Pemilihan Gubernur or Pilgub). The political phenomenon in Riau Islands seems to be different from other areas where other Malays dominate since non-Malay ethnic candidates won the governor election. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive technique. The data were collected using in-depth interviews and direct observation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The result found that people of Malay ethnic are open-minded. The candidates elected also can prove qualified personal and successfully leading the Malay ethnic people in moving ahead. Non-Malay ethnic won the Riau Islands (known as Kepri (Kepulauan Riau)) governor election determined by 1) The political identity of Malay ethnic people is open-minded, coexisting Islamic identity, speaking Malay language, practicing Malay culture, and committing to build and develop Malay ethnic people, so the candidates identified as part of Malay ethnic people and considered by the Malay ethnic people as a candidate for leader of the Malay people in a broadening sense; 2) the figure of candidates can socialize with people of Malay ethnic; 3) other minority ethnics and political parties supported the candidates. Native Malay candidates were failed due to the lack of contribution to the people of Malay ethnic in particular and the Riau Islands in general. ; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui primordialisme dan perilaku memilih etnis Melayu pada Pemilihan Gubernur (Pilgub) Kepulauan Riau 2005-2015. Fenomena politik di Kepulauan Riau tampak berbeda dengan daerah lain yang didominasi etnis Melayu sejak kandidat dari etnis non-Melayu memenangkan pemilihan gubernur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa masyarakat etnis melayu berpikiran terbuka. Kandidat yang terpilih juga dapat membuktikan personal yang berkualitas dan berhasil memimpin etnis melayu untuk maju. Etnis non-Melayu memenangkan Pemilihan Gubernur Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) ditentukan oleh 1) Politik indentitas masyarakat etnis melayu adalah berpikiran terbuka, berdampingan dengan identitas Islam, berbicara bahasa Melayu, mengamalkan budaya Melayu, dan berkomitmen untuk membangun dan mengembangkan masyarakat Melayu, sehingga kandidat teridentifikasi sebagai bagian dari etnik Melayu dan dianggap oleh masyarakat Melayu sebagai kandidat pemimpin masyarakat Melayu dalam arti yang luas; 2) figur kandidat mampu bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat etnis Melayu; 3) etnis minoritas lainnya dan partai politik mendukung kandidat. Kandidat dari etnis Melayu gagal karena minimnya kontribusinya kepada masyarakat Melayu pada khususnya dan Kepulauan Riau pada umumnya.
To implement the governance tasks, professional, responsible, honest, and fair civil servants are needed. It can be attained through a training which is implemented based on the system of working performance and career that focuses on the system of working performance. Therefore, the appraisal of working performance is carried out to evaluate the performance of civil servants for providing guidance to the officials in the evaluation of unit and organization performance. This study aims to make intelligent agens design, so that the working units and governmental organizations can do evaluation based on the self-evaluation of their employees' working performance. It refers to the government regulation number 46 year 2011, that the appraisal of the civil servants' working performance consists of Employee's Work Goal (EWG) and Work Behavior (WB) with the percentages for each are 60% and 40%. The intelligent agens that can be formed from this case consist of 1) Agen-evaluator who provides the feed back of working performance progress, 2) Agen-work planner who contributes in providing recommendation of jobs which are apropriate with the civil servants whose working performance is still low, and 3) Agen-record-of-performance who contribute in recording the performance of Civil Servants.
This study aims to gather information and analyze in-depth about the public perception on the green buying in Indonesia. The analysis focus on each of the community groups, ie group of professionals, group of housewives, and group of young people. These three groups are expected to represent the green buying behavior of today's society. Research is conducted by using qualitative research approach, using the technique of in-depth interviews in data collection. This study finds that people have different 'green' buying behavior. Professional groups are the groups most concerned in it, while the groups who are less concerned with green buying are groups of housewives, normally they reasoned that the purchase of green products are very expensive. The great expectation for environmentally conscious and green buying behavior is on groups of young people (students). Generally, young people have a great desire to behave in green if later they are already working and earning enough to buy green products which are generally more expensive than the regular products. Future expectations are that these research findings can be used as a reference by the government in environmental policy making, as well as benefits to the company/organization in offering products that are environmentally friendly.
ABSTRACTThis article deals with the loss of self-confidence of the Acehnese caused by various unhealthy social, political and economic situations as a result of prolonged conflict coupled with natural disasters and tsunami. The loss of confidence here is related to the loss of ethnicity of the Acehnese people who have been known as successful people in various aspects of human life in the past. The myths of success of the Acehnese people in the past have been denied as non-existent, in fact they have turned negative stereotypes about Acehnese people who have ruined the ethnicity of ravages in the midst of national and global society. That is why the title of this article is to trace the myths of Acehnese success in the past in order to strengthen the ethnicity of Acehnese post conflict and tsunami. The purpose of this paper is to build a collective awareness and confidence that the Acehnese are a successful nation in the past and reject any negative perceptions about the Acehnese who are seen as absolute truth. In other words, this article deals with the need to strengthen the ethnicity of Acehnese in building their success life through a "mirror" of the past success. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method by collecting various data qualitatively and describing various results of descriptive data analysis. The findings show: 1) The need to revive the myths of Acehnese success in the past to build exemplary present or build success through the myth of success. 2) Rejection of negative stereotypes about Aceh and Acehnese people by generalizing negative things that seem to have been attached as the truth. 3) The need to strengthen a culture of success through the myth of past success and build a positive work ethic in the present.Key words: myths of success, Acehnese, strengthening, ethnicity.
