Objective: Describe the sociodemographic profile of older people with depressive symptoms and their social support
structure regarding the size, composition and degree of the elderly proximity with the network components. Method:
Descriptive, transversal and quantitative study, conducted with 88 elderly, being used for data collection the Short
Geriatric Depression Scale, Minimum Map of Social Relations and a form composed by sociodemographic questions.
Results: Predominated older people the female sex, aged 60 to 69 years, low income and education. 807 people were
cited by the elderly to compose their social support network, with prevalence of intimate relationships and family
members. Conclusion: The identification of social support enables health professionals to work in a partnership with it
in order to promote a better quality of life of elderly.

Objective: To characterize patients undergoing cardiac surgery at a referral hospital in northern of Ceara. Method:
This is a quantitative and descriptive study using documentary analysis carried out by 176 medical records in
accordance with the ethical aspects of Resolution 196/96. Results: We identified predominantly men, married, living in
distant cities of the health service and a greater tendency for people over 40 years old. The hospital stay was low,
contributing to reduction of risks related to hospitalization, also reducing the cost of these services, for influencing
turnover and availability of beds. Discussion: This study shows high turnover and effectiveness of the service, allowing
also envision that the primary surgery is coronary artery bypass surgery in men with the duration of hospitalization in
about four days. Conclusion: We found that despite the risks of a cardiovascular surgery in the studied hospital, the
patients recover with a great success

In interview given to Igor Lemos Moreira, the American historian Elizabeth Schwall reflects on the role of Cuban dance in the island's revolutionary context. Specialist in the interface between arts and politics in the Americas, Schwall discusses theoretical-methodological aspects of studying the performing arts in historiography, the different processes that involved the institutionalization of dance by the Cuban revolutionary government and the interconnected histories between exiles and artists who support the revolution. Throughout the interview, carried out remotely, it is clear that, in addition to being a fruitful field for art historiography, the study of Cuban dance in the 20th century makes it possible to reflect on the global and intertwined connections between politics, society, art and individuals. ; Em entrevista concedida a Igor Lemos Moreira, a historiadora estadunidense Elizabeth Schwall reflete sobre o papel da dança cubana no contexto revolucionário da ilha. Ao longo da entrevista, realizada remotamente, percebe-se que além de um campo profícuo a historiografia da arte, o estudo da dança cubana no século XX possibilita refletir acerca das conexões globais e entrelaçadas entre política, sociedade, arte e indivíduos.

The aim of this paper is to indicate in a contemporary perspective how transhumanism fits into religious discourse as, in seeking to resignify human existence and lead humanity to a posthuman dimension, it finds roots in the ancient gnostic movements, transforming itself into a new Contemporary religion. Given this, we will first try to identify common ground between Gnosticism and Transhumanism, especially the idea linked to the denial of corporeality. In a second moment, we will show the dangers that transhumanism faces when it intends to give man powers to modify its existence, dispensing with the figure of the creator God.

ABSTRACT Objective: analyzing violence against older people registered at the police station for security and protection to the elderly. Method: an exploratory study of qualitative approach based on secondary data, recorded in 2012 in 300 Bulletins of Violence Occurrence through form. Data were processed in IRAMUTEQ, analyzed by the descending hierarchical classification and presented in four classes. Results: class III - violence against the elderly in financial institutions by third parties; class I - family violence against the elderly; class II - reason for the violence against the elderly; and class IV - loans to elderly person granted by financial. Conclusion: violence against older people is a violation of human rights and requires strategic actions by the government and society, both in the prevention as the confrontation, in order to rescue and ensure the dignity of this segment. The fiction corresponds to a style of writing that supports the construction of narratives capable of wrestling the writer from himself in a sense that, through the experiment of language itself, it constitutes aesthetically. When we observe the works of Nietzsche, we perceive that there are a plurality of literary styles, often composed by aphorisms that demand another performance: hyperbolic writing. Through artistic writing, Nietzsche creates a world understood as the will to power in which he gives himself as a character among other psychological types. Already in Foucault's philosophy the striking feature of his works is the historical tone with which he approaches his themes. However, as he himself affirms in some interviews, he writes nothing but fictions, selects and organizes historical statements by creating various scenarios, subjects and objects of his speech. This style present in both contacts the outside provoking a repositioning of the reader, which is affected by promoting, as an effect of subjectivation, a political repositioning of insubmissão of not wanting to be governed in this way.

Esse artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar a Teoria Sócio-Cognitiva aplicada ao contexto do desenvolvimento de carreira e ilustrar suas aplicações em pesquisas realizadas em diferentes contextos. O foco do artigo residiu na explanação de variáveis importantes para a realização da escolha profissional, que auxiliam na motivação para a realização deste comportamento. Foram abordados os elementos pessoais, contextuais e de aprendizagem que auxiliam na formação das crenças de auto-eficácia e das expectativas de resultado que, conseqüentemente, influenciam a formação dos interesses profissionais, considerados elementos essenciais na motivação para a escolha de áreas profissionais específicas. Com base na revisão da literatura da área, verificou-se que esse referencial foi replicado em populações de diferentes etnias, de variadas fases do desenvolvimento vocacional, em estudos transversais e longitudinais, com pessoas de ambos os sexos e de níveis sócio-econômicos distintos. Desse modo, destaca-se a utilidade desde modelo para a compreensão da tomada de decisão no âmbito vocacional.

Executive Council Thirty-Fourth Ordinary Session 7 – 8 February 2019 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia ; The African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights (the Court) was established in terms of Article 1 of the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Establishment of an African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights (hereinafter referred to as "the Protocol"), adopted on 9 June 1998, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, by the then Organization of African Unity (OAU). The Protocol entered into force on 25 January 2004. The Court became operational in 2006 and is composed of eleven (11) Judges elected by the Executive Council and appointed by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union. The Seat of the Court is in Arusha, the United Republic of Tanzania. Article 31 of the Protocol mandates the Court to "…submit to each regular session of the Assembly, a report on its work. The report shall specify, in particular, the cases in which a State has not complied with the Court's judgment.

Objective: To describe the effect of home care nursing in knowledge, hospitalization and blood pressure levels in
patients with hypertension treated impaired. Method: quantitative research with a retrospective design, made from
the database extension project developed in a basic health unit of a municipality in the metropolitan region of
Curitiba-PR. The activities included in the project were educational group and follow-up at home for 12 months. The
sample consisted of 16 users with hypertension. Results: There was a higher frequency of women with a mean age of
63 year old. There was improvement in knowledge about hypertension, reduction in the rate of hospital admission due
to hypertensive crisis and increase in the proportion of individuals with controlled blood pressure. Conclusion: The
home care was effective in controlling blood pressure.

The historical development of the northern end of Tocantins is intrinsically linked to a double bond: the place and identity. In this perspective, the text approaches aspects of the settlement process in the Parrot's Beak, considering, among other characteristics, ownership of free land for the constituent work place in order that links the land from production to residence, the coexistence and socio-cultural practices resulting ultimately in the identity construction that feeds on humanitarian values. The methodological procedure adopted included a literature review subsidized especially by authors of different theoretical affiliations, but convergent to the subject. In this study, we seek to establish the relationship between place and identity in designing training subjects as broader social process in which it is effective for the exchange of knowledge, attitudes and ways of life not institutionalized by school standards, which help to understand the basis of uses and customs of nortense population arising from traditional rural life.

Objective: To comprehend the knowledge and practices of caregivers of elderly people with Alzheimer disease (AD). Method: A descriptive and qualitative conducted with relatives and/or caregivers of AD patients enrolled in the Unimed of North of Minas Gerais. Data were obtained by interview and recorded. Results: The results showed the following categories: "Knowledge about Alzheimer disease", "Care provided to patients with the disease", "Feelings when caring for the elderly with Alzheimer Disease". It is observed that the knowledge of caregivers about AD is confused. Due to this daily care performed by these caregivers, many impacts can be seen in the lives of respondents, such as changes in daily life, financial difficulties and impacts on their health. Conclusion: The need of a multidisciplinary team of caregivers for guidance on issues related to the disease in order to they can learn to deal with the elderly suffering from Alzheimer disease.

Method: it is a literature review based on the analysis of health policies and national and international discussion of strategies for preventing falls in older people living in the community. The survey was conducted in institutional sites and documents published by the Ministry of Health and the databases MEDLINE and EBSCO. Results: the problem of falls in elderly people living in the community led to governments and international institutions have developed health promotion and prevention programs, issuing recommendations to professionals and elderly people. The implementation of programs of multifactorial fall prevention are effective in reducing the number of elderly who fall, to live in the community. Conclusion: health professionals have an important role in screening, assessment of fall risk and implementation of measures that effectively reduce the risk of falls in the elderly people, requiring the integration of these activities in their daily practice.
