Данная работа отражает результаты изучения одного из важнейших эпизодов в истории американского рабства и аболиционизма – дела «Соединенные Штаты против "Амистад"» 1839–1841 гг. История о восстании рабов на одноименном испанском судне буквально захватила американское общество, став предметом одного из самых длительных и резонансных судебных разбирательств. В этот процесс оказались вовлечены виднейшие представители американского аболиционистского движения и политического истеблишмента, включая бывшего и действующего президентов США, испанского консула, министра иностранных дел Великобритании и многих других. Итоговое же решение Верховного суда создало важнейший прецедент в американском праве, став еще одной ступенью в деле освобождения рабов. Указанная тема довольно хорошо освещена в англо-американской историографии, особенно в работах специалистов по направлению «афроамериканская история» (Black History), в то время как отечественные исследователи никогда не уделяли ей должного внимания. Представленная работа призвана восполнить данный пробел. Она опирается на широкую источниковую базу, основу которой составляют материалы судебного производства, многочисленные отчеты и журналистские публикации, а также на англо-американские исследования. Автор восстанавливает картину событий восстания и последующего судебного разбирательства, акцентируя внимание на выявлении каузальных связей и характеристике основных этапов развития событий 1839–1841 гг. В последней части им разъясняются последствия и значение дела «Амистад» в афроамериканской и американской истории.
This article is devoted to the study of one of the most significant episodes in the history of American slavery and abolitionism – the United States v. the Amistad case of 1839–41. The story of the slave uprising on the Spanish ship of the same name literally captured American society and became the subject of one of the longest and most resonant court proceedings. The most prominent representatives of American abolitionist movement and political establishment were involved in this process, including former and current US presidents, the Spanish Consul, the British Foreign Minister, and many others. The final verdict of the Supreme Court created the most important precedent in American law, marking another milestone in the cause of emancipation. This topic is quite well covered in Anglo-American historiography, especially among specialists in the field of African American history (Black History), while Soviet and Russian researchers have almost never paid proper attention to it. The present work is meant to fill this gap. The study is built on a broad source base, which includes the materials of judicial proceedings, numerous reports and journalistic publications as well as on available Anglo-American research studies. The author reconstructs the picture of the events of the Amistad mutiny and the subsequent trial, focusing on the identification of causal connections and the characteristics of the main stages of the 1839–41 events. In the last part of the article, the author reflects on the consequences and significance of the Amistad case in African-American and American history.

В последнее время в педагогике все больше внимания уделяется вопросам повышения качества образования, обучения и воспитания. Новые технологические возможности, например, дополненная виртуальная реальность, позволяют использовать в обучении проблемные кейсы. Применение таких кейсов способствует формированию у обучающихся различных знаний, умений, навыков и профессиональных компетенций, расширению сферы их профессиональных и личностных интересов. В статье описаны результаты анализа различных источников, результатов опроса и анкетирования студентов, выпускников вуза и работодателей по теме создания и решения проблемных кейсов, их влияния на эффективность обучения в вузе и на результат трудоустройства. Рассматриваются преимущества и недостатки использования проблемных кейсов в ходе изучения учебных дисциплин, анализируется актуальность формирования у студентов умений и навыков решения проблемных кейсов. Учитывая опыт практического применения работодателями проблемных кейсов во время интервьюирования, в статье приведены основные вопросы, положенные в основу проблемных кейсов, которые предлагается решить потенциальным кандидатам в процессе интервью при приеме на работу. Проведенное исследование позволило сделать вывод, подтверждающий необходимость увеличения количества часов в теоретической и практической части обучения на решение проблемных кейсов и проблемных ситуаций, что, в свою очередь, позволит развивать у обучающихся различные навыки и компетенции, которые они смогут использовать в своей будущей профессиональной деятельности и повседневной жизни.
In recent years, pedagogy has increasingly focused on improving the quality of education, training and education. New technological opportunities, for example, augmented virtual reality, make it possible to use problem cases in training. The use of problem cases allows students to form various knowledge, skills, and professional competencies and expand the scope of their professional and personal interests. The article describes the results of the analysis of various sources and the results of a survey and questionnaire of students, university graduates and employers on the topic of creating and solving problem cases and their impact on the effectiveness of university education and on the result of employment. The advantages and disadvantages of using problem cases during the study of academic disciplines are considered, the relevance of the formation of students' skills in solving problem cases is analyzed. Taking into account the experience of practical application of problem cases by employers during interviewing, this article presents the main issues underlying the problem cases that potential candidates are invited to solve during the interview process when applying for a job. The conducted research allowed us to draw a conclusion confirming the need to pay more attention and increase the number of hours in the theoretical and practical part of training to solve problem cases and problematic situations, which in turn will allow students to develop various skills and competencies that they can use in their future professional activities and daily life.

In the article the campus is examined as an example of informal public space. Modern researcher R. Oldenburg calls this space as "the third place". "The third places" differ from the previous formal places by a "friendly" environment. The authors analyze the process of turning of actual "empty" space into "the third place" and define its factors such as realization of art projects and creation of space-transformers. Besides they determine the role of students' initiatives in these processes.
The purpose of the section is to analyze the latest developments in the military and political sphere in East Asia, taking into account a wide range of challenges. Currently, we can note positive trends in the formation and development of social service institutions for families. The dynamics of the main statistical indicators characterizing the formation and development of institutions for social services to the family indicates that the number of institutions for social services for families and the system of social protection of the population has increased signifi cantly. At the same time, the burden on specialists dictates the need to develop various mechanisms for working with families. This paper deals with the development and application of cases in social work with families.
The article is devoted to a rare variant of skin sarcoidosis the so-called follicular sarcoidosis. According to the literature, the follicular form of sarcoidosis is extremely rare, several isolated cases are described in foreign literature, there are no publications in the russian literature. A 30-year-old female patient came to the clinic of the Military Medical Academy with a skin rash of the upper extremities, trunk and neck that lasted for one year. Anamnesis: repeated use of topical corticosteroids for the treatment with a temporary positive effect. The skin process was represented by common follicular papules; a histological examination of one of the elements revealed granulomas of the sarcoid type, which were located perifolliculary, mainly around the infundibular sections of the hair follicles. The rash resolved after a course of external corticosteroid therapy. The clinical case described by us illustrates the need for histological examination to verify the diagnosis. ; Статья посвящена редкому варианту саркоидоза кожи так называемому фолликулярному саркоидозу. Согласно данным литературы, фолликулярная форма саркоидоза встречается крайне редко, в зарубежной литературе описано несколько единичных случаев, в отечественной литературе публикации отсутствуют. Пациентка в возрасте 30 лет обратилась в клинику Военно-медицинской академии с высыпаниями на коже верхних конечностей, туловища и шеи, существующими в течение одного года. Из анамнеза: неоднократное использование для лечения топических кортикостероидов с временным положительным эффектом. Процесс на коже был представлен распространенными фолликулярными папулами; при гистологическом исследовании одного из элементов были выявлены гранулемы саркоидного типа, которые располагались перифолликулярно, преимущественно вокруг инфундибулярных отделов волосяных фолликулов. Высыпания разрешились после проведения курса наружной кортикостероидной терапии. Описанный нами клинический случай иллюстрирует необходимость проведения гистологического исследования для верификации диагноза.

The purpose of the paper is to present obstacles in the translation process of Russian and Polish penal codes. Both texts are characterized by a particular register and structure that are regulated by separate laws in both countries. The paper also gives an account of selected differences in macro and micro text structures of the given material. The result to emerge from comparative analysis is that ignoring formal guidelines in the translation process of codification acts may lead to style distortion, that is to say to a translation mistake. On the question of structure and semantics of legal instruments, this study shows that a knowledge of legislative technique is of significant importance for a translator.

The current practice of foreign currency control in Russia is based on the mechanisms that were formed during the period of the Soviet administrative and command economy. The approaches applied in Russia to foreign currency regulation and foreign currency control (repatriation requirements, closed list of operations for crediting funds to foreign accounts) create barriers for the Russian business and citizens, significantly complicating the procedure for their foreign economic activity. At the same time, the existing restrictions, in conditions when the requirements for the sale of a part of foreign currency earnings and other restrictions on the movement of capital are not applied, do not ensure the achievement of macroeconomic goals, which are laid down in the preamble of the act "On foreign currency regulation and foreign currency control". The foreign currency act in Russia does not currently ensure the achievement of the goals for which it was adopted. In practice, the act solves the tax objectives and the tasks of combating the legalization of criminal revenue. Developed countries and members of the Organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) do not use similar mechanisms to control the movement of funds. At the same time, foreign countries are actively developing instruments to control cross-border cash flows within the framework of legislation on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism, as well as in the framework of improving the mechanisms of international exchange of financial information for tax purposes. The authors propose a reform of the current foreign currency regulation aimed at the abolition of currency restrictions and the development of alternative mechanisms for controlling the cross-border movement of funds by improving the international exchange of tax information, including automatic one, as well as improving the effectiveness of measures to combat money laundering in international trade.

Export determinants and their interconnection with technological sophistication and exchange rates are a popular topic in foreign articles. This paper is devoted to relation between export sophistication and exchange rate, including disaggregation of the used data to the country level. Main hypothesis of the research can be formulated as follows: export sophistication moderates the influence of exchange rate risks on export volume. First of all, analytical review of literature over the period of 2009-2019 has been carried out. It includes such topics as influence of trade policy on wages and employment in developing countries, main determinants of export diversification, role of foreign direct investments in export sophistication, etc. Furthermore, articles devoted to experience of China, Korea, Singapore, Japan, ASEAN and Latin America countries have been studied. Second part of the research focuses on statistical and regression analysis of Japanese export partners' data, and also evaluation of ESI and PSI according to R. Hausmann methodology. Moreover, three clusters of countries were outlined: first - the leader - the USA, second - countries with growing exports - China and Korea, third - other countries. The structure of Japanese exports inclines the focus on high and middle-high technological goods. This trend is more evident in case of ESI and PSI: middle and high technological goods retain minimal fluctuations in volumes since 2014. Finally, regression coefficients indicate that yen deflation stimulates export, this result can be explained by Japanese policy of division between internal and external markets.

The article analyzes the processes of regional construction and their specific features in the Baltic Sea region. The article provides insights into main approaches to defining the notion of the Baltic Sea Region, its geography, rationales and preconditions of the Baltic Sea Region construction. The author makes conclusion that currently the construction process is being continued, and it involves a wide range of actors: NGOs, local and regional authorities, scientific organizations, higher education institutions, business structures, international organizations. All these actors use different tools and act in different spheres. Although there is no clear answer to the question "Who and how constructs the Baltic Sea Region?", it is concluded that the cooperation played a significant role in this process, for example, by determining the geography of the region and creating communication networks. Projects, in turn, become a widespread form of cooperation which are used by large Baltic interregional organizations, such as the Northern Dimension, Interregional programmes, the Council of the Baltic Sea States. International project activity of the described above actors, being the point of pooled resources application and also narratives on the regional issues, became one of the mechanisms of the region construction. The article proves that a wide variety of projects in various fields with the participation of different actors creates a picture of the Baltic Sea region building some of its features and providing common identity and responsibility ideas.
