Keberhasilan Serikat Petani Indonesia dalam Perjuangan Hak Asasi Petani Tahun 2001 - 2018
This study analyzes the success of the Indonesian Farmers Union (SPI) in the peasant rights struggle during 2001 - 2016. This study uses the social movement integration aprproach which is an attempt to synthesize three dimensions / approaches: the structure of political opportunity; structure of social mobilization; and cultural framing. This study uses qualitative research methods with study case approach. The research data is sourced from interviews and documents and literature related to this study. The analysis indicates that the success of SPI in peasant rights struggles in 2001 - 2018 can be seen from the ratification of 'Declaration Peasant Rights and Other People Working in Rural Area' or UNDROP at the International level. This success can't be separated from the role of each dimension / approach, namely a combination of factors of political openness in Indonesia, the success of the SPI in networking alliances at various levels (local-international), and the construction of ideas on the rights of farmers that can be accepted universal.

Style and intersubjectivity in youth interaction
In: Contributions to the Sociology of Language, CSL Volume 108
This book examines how style and intersubjective meanings emerge through language use. It is innovative in theoretical scope and empirical focus. It brings together insights from discourse-functional linguistics, stylistics, and conversation analysis to understand how language resources are used to enact stances in intersubjective space. While there are numerous studies devoted to youth language, the focus has been mainly on face-to-face interaction. Other types of youth interaction, particularly in mediated forms, have received little attention. This book draws on data from four different text types - conversation, e-forums, comics, and teen fiction - to highlight the multidirectional nature of style construction. Indonesia provides a rich context for the study of style and intersubjectivity among youth. In constructing style, Indonesian urban youth have been moving away from conventions which emphasized hierarchy and uniformity toward new ways of connecting in intersubjective space. This book analyzes how these new ways are realized in different text types. This book makes a valuable addition to sociolinguistic literature on youth and language and an essential reading for those interested in Austronesian sociolinguistics.
Indonesia's maritime connectivity development domestic and international challenges
This study considers the political aspects of the Joko Widodo government's megaproject to build an integrated marine logistic system known as the tol laut. Expanding the existing literature which gives details about the contextual obstacles faced by and the prospects for the Indonesian government to pursue its infrastructure ambitions, the study argues that notwithstanding the relevance of the tol laut for advancing the Indonesian economy, it is inevitably entangled with dynamic internal and external environments which can unfavourably distort the construction processes. This is the way of understanding the political economy of Indonesia's development issues which allows for the juxtaposition of domestic political and international relations factors as its framework of analysis. The discussion is divided into four sections. Section one explains the conceptual and methodological foundation of the study. Section two outlines the importance of the tol laut to Indonesian national economic development. Section three looks at how the current domestic political settings pose structural hurdles to Widodo's tol laut, and section four observes the effect of international relations of powerful regional actors and Jakarta's diplomatic capacity to the on-going tol laut. The concluding section summarizes the findings of the study.

EPC/TURNKEY CONTRACT, LUMPSUM FIXED PRICE SUBJECT TO ADJUSTMENTS
The most important thing before starting the construction project is deciding the type of contract will be used for the project's implementation. In order to get the proper decision, the understanding on various conditions of contracts are required. In Indonesia there are many project using the so called "modified" FIDIC Conditions of Contract for EPC/Turnkey Project, but with the incorrect understanding on the reasons of using EPC/Turnkey Contract, so instead of solving the problem it may caused bigger problems in practice, many problems raised during the execution due to such incorrect understanding of the spirit of EPC/Turnkey Contract. Most of Employers, in this case the government institution or state owned enterprises in Indonesia, choose the EPC/Turnkey Contract with minimum understanding of the essence of the EPC/Turnkey Contract. Their reasons of choosing the EPC/Turnkey Contract was the "tied schedule" and the "higher certainty of cost". FIDIC EPC/Turnkey Contract based on the discussion in this paper, instead of fit the Employer's need only, the EPC/Turnkey Contract still give chance to the contractor to submit their claim (Clause 20) and even the price is fixed, payment could be made once the claim is accepted (Sub-Clause 17.4) means that additional to the contract price can be done. One of the important noteworthy thing is that if there is additional cost it should be "added to the contract price", while in the conventional contract it should be "included in the contract price", so the final price will be the same (Sub-Clause 14.1).
