There are many multiple-stage racing competitions in various sports such as swimming, running, or cycling. The wide availability of affordable tracking devices facilitates monitoring the position along with the race of all participants, even for non-professional contests. Getting real-time information of contenders is useful but also unleashes the possibility of creating more complex visualization systems that ease the understanding of the behavior of all participants during a simple stage or throughout the whole competition. In this paper we focus on bicycle races, which are highly popular, especially in Europe, being the Tour de France its greatest exponent. Current visualizations from TV broadcasting or real-time tracking websites are useful to understand the current stage status, up to a certain extent. Unfortunately, still no current system exists that visualizes a whole multi-stage contest in such a way that users can interactively explore the relevant events of a single stage (e.g. breakaways, groups, virtual leadership.), as well as the full competition. In this paper, we present an interactive system that is useful both for aficionados and professionals to visually analyze the development of multi-stage cycling competitions. ; This work has been supported in part by project TIN2017-88515-C2-1-R(GEN3DLIVE), from the Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, by 839 FEDER (EU) funds and by the Grant No. PID2019-106426RB-C31 / AEI / 10.13039/501100011033 from the Spanish Government. ; Peer Reviewed ; Postprint (published version)

Intelligent Environments most commonly take a physical form such as homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, shops, that are equipped with advanced networked computer based systems, which enable better or new lifestyles for people. However, Intelligent Environments can also take the form of virtual online spaces such as SecondLife, which can both mimic the real world and provide functionalities which could not be provided in reality, such as advanced simulations and movement. There is the growing trend for people to spend more time in such virtual environments and, to these ends, this work in progress paper reports on a new project, +Spaces which is developing a range of virtual world tools for e-government applications, and presents some of the concepts and technical challenges involved in creating these intelligent virtual spaces for e-government. © 2010 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between good governance and siri 'napacce in guarding the realization of village funds and to know the application of culture and local wisdom of siri' napacce in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as village officials in Pacellekang Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data source of this study is primary data in the form of direct interviews to several informants and subjects in the form of data from the research location. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were in-depth interviews, documentation and recording. Then, data processing and analysis techniques are qualitative analysis by building conclusions with the stages of data collection, triangulation data analysis and final conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the supervision of ADD management in Pacellekang Village is already good, in accordance with the principles of good governance. Starting at the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the accountability stage, the administration and financial management processes have been implemented in accordance with the principles of good governance, although there are still a few shortcomings. In addition, accountability and reporting are also direct to interested parties based on the cultural values of siri 'na pacce which can increase supervision of village fund allocation management (ADD) because as it is known that those who can participate in monitoring other than the community, the central government, are ourselves. Keywords: Supervision , Honesty, Village Fund Allocation, Siri 'na Pacce

The growing implementation of algorithmic systems in all kinds of human activities is the result of their increasing computational capacity. These systems can process massive amounts of data and provide very accurate results that help decision-makers in both the public and private sector to classify humans and predict their actions. However, algorithms, and the actors that use them, are also increasingly producing significant harms to the fundamental rights of individuals and democratic principles and values. To date, informational privacy (data protection) regulatory frameworks, have been the main legal instruments tasked with protecting against the wide array of risks and harms caused by the automated processing of personal data. This paper maps the main hazards caused by algorithmic systems and aims to prove the shortcomings of the data protection framework in order to justify further regulatory intervention in the public and private use of automated systems. It also draws a series of brief proposals that, were they to be implemented, should help to overcome some of the ineffective aspects of the current regulatory framework when dealing with the risks and harms caused by algorithms ; Este trabajo se ha desarrollado dentro de la SHINE Jean Monnet Network (Sharing Economy and Inequalities across Europe) donde varias universidades europeas, coordinadas por la Universitat de València, están estudiando estas cuestiones con el apoyo de la Comisión Europea (611585-EPP-1-2019-1-ES-EPPJMO-NETWORK).
