This article examines the provisions of the current criminal law of Ukraine regarding some issues of legal regulation of the new wording of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and covers the legislative changes introduced into it. First of all, statistics on registered criminal offenses, including rape and assault on him and data from the information agency regarding the actual number of crimes committed against the sexual freedom and integrity of the individual are provided. The problem of the difference between the new edition and the previous one is illustrated, some positive and negative indicators of these changes are illustrated, opinions of Ukrainian lawyers on this issue are analyzed. The article also highlights the problem of so-called "domestic rape" and its detailing in the new qualifying, sign of a new version of this crime. Some features of the psychological aspect of perception of such rape as a crime, a victim are determined. In addition, the article draws attention to the fact that the new wording of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine allegedly establishes a gender neutral definition of rape, but when studying the disposition of this norm it becomes clear that a man is not in all cases envisaged by it may be victimized, which is a gap in the legislative fixing the issue of the criminal-law assessment of certain criminal attacks on the sexual freedom of men. An explanation is given on the issue of reaching the consent of the opposite sex in sexual intercourse by deception in terms of the new and previous version of the aforementioned article and the emergence in the disposition of the appraisal concept of "voluntary consent". In the article the author analyzes ownership and contribution notes notes published in Ukrainian catalogs of Cyrillic old printed editions, which are original and indigenous objects of local studies. Such notes contain information about contributions and contributors, their families' members, priests, landed estates' owners, about the other gifts, temples building and renovation, founders and beneficiaries, about military expeditions, battles, natural phenomena. Sometimes the notes include titles of several books given to a temple or list other religious items. Notes related to the history and local studies make it possible to reconstruct some episodes of the history of Ukrainian local territories, towns, villages, communities, churches and monasteries

The book is devoted to the unofficial art, its historical development and a place in the modern world. Johannes Stahl proposes a new approach to this controversial phenomenon. In this article the author offers a historical and bibliological analysis of a Cyrillic edition of the German Protestant Bishop Wilhelm Stratemann work «Featron or Historical Shame» (SPb.: typography of Alexander Nevsky Monastery, 1724) against the background of the Russian book culture, historical thought and book publishing in the first quarter of XVIII century.The research has revealed that the publication of secular books in Russia during this period was under the governmental control and largely depended on the reformation activity of Peter I. We have defined that the main goal of secular publishing was the distribution of enlightenment, science and education ideas. In the article we have revealed the characteristic features of the development of Western European Protestant and Catholic historiography of XVI–XVII centuries. The study of sources and scientific materials allows us to disclose the value of the work of W. Stratemann as the first Russian edition of the world history textbook in the distribution and popularization of historical knowledge, as well as its influence on the Russian historical science formation. We have studied the main historical ideas of W. Stratemann work and G. Buzhinsky foreword, as well as their influence on the development of historical thought in Russia during the studied period. The author attempts to make a bibliological analysis of W. Stratemann publication exemplars which are stored in the holdings of rare books of the largest libraries of Kyiv: the printing features of these printed works, bindings and engravings state, contents of provenances, marginalia etc are characterized.

The article introduces the edition «Atlas of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army». Actuality for mapmaking of distorted Ukrainian history pages is showed. The approaches to structure of the atlas are noted. The atlas presents the origins of UPA, its armed struggle, territorial divisions, military organization and present-day memory places. The distortion of Ukrainian Insurgent Army's history is one of the cornerstones of the Russian propaganda machine. Edition of «Atlas of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army» will contribute to the fight of the Ukrainians in the information warfare waged by the Russians for centuries, trying to assimilate the neighboring people and to appropriate its historical achievements. According to the concept, the structure of the atlas should cover a wide range of different aspects of the UPA's struggle; bases on objective materials and destroy the Soviet myths; it discloses the territorial organization of the struggle; transmits different historical phases of social processes (origins, activity, today's echo). The Atlas complies with such approaches as complexity and consistency, as well as scientific approach, clarity for consumer, Ukrainian centrism, objectivity. Its structure consists of five chapters: 1) «Origins of UPA», 2) «UPA armed struggle for the restoration of Ukrainian statehood», 3) «UPA territorial divisions», 4) «Characteristics of military organization», 5) «Memorable places of UPA». The introductory article to atlas «OUN and UPA: myths and slanders of the Russian propaganda» is intended to show the main Russian fakes. The first chapter gives the prerequisites for insurgency formation, the second reveals the theme of military confrontation of Ukrainian rebels to all invaders during World War II (German Nazis with Hungarians and Romanians, Polish chauvinists, Russian and Soviet imperialists), the third reveals territorial divisions of the armed struggle, the fourth is without maps, it shows features of military organization, the fifth contains a map scale 1: 500 000 with UPA memorable places. «Atlas of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army» will serve as a good argument in the Russian-Ukrainian information warfare. It meets modern requirements for historical cartographic popular science publications. ; Статья знакомит с будущим изданием «Атлас Украинской Повстанческой Армии». Отмечена актуальность исторического картографирования наиболее мифологизированных страниц истории Украины. Проанализирована структура атласа, которая раскрывает истоки создания УПА, вооружённую борьбу, территориальную структуру, военную организацию и места памяти УПА. Приведены подходы к созданию Атласа, наполнения его картографическими, информативно-текстовыми и иллюстративными материалами. Відзначено актуальність історичного картографування найбільш міфологізованих сторінок історії України. The works of Vasyl Stus – а Ukrainian poet, human rights activist, a member of the Sixtiers' movement of resistance against the totalitarian system in the USSR – are subject to scientific interest of literary critics and historians. Studying his literary heritage is complicated by many years of hushing up his works during the Soviet times, banning them from being published in the USSR, partial physical destruction of his works in places of detention and the poet's tragic death in the camp for political prisoners ВС-389/36-1 near village of Kuchino, Chusovyi District of Perm Region. His works ended up in KGB's archives, self-published collections, some were published abroad. All the publications of his works happened without the author's participation. The document found in the stock collection of The Sixtiers Museum is a previously unknown version of V. Stus's literary study «A Phenomenon of Our Time (The Ascent to Calvary of Glory)» on works by Pavlo Tychyna.This literary study by V. Stus is already well known among scholars. According to a memoir by M. Kotsiubynska, Stus finished it in the summer of 1971, printed out several copies and gave them to his closest friends. The official publication of the article was made from one of these copies. The typescript was found among Ivan Svitlychny's papers confiscated during the second search of his home on 22 May, at the time when Ivan Oleksiyovych himself, having been arrested on the same day as Vasyl Stus (12 January 1972), was held in remand prison of the KGB. There are three types of corrections in this text: proof-corrections related to spelling and misprints; minor but fair stylistic adjustments; and the most interesting, crossing out some parts of the text and replacing them with handwritten fragments. The stylistic adjustments were made by Ivan Svitlychnyi but replacement of some text fragments with others was undoubtedly made by the author, although, apparently, influenced by conversations with the critic. The fragments omitted by the official edition of Stus's text had been written with a blue ballpoint pen on the back of Ivan Svitlychny's drafts, which indicates that discussion and correction by Vasyl Stus of his article most likely took place at Ivan Oleksiyovych's house.So what is the semantic difference between the two versions of the article? Mykhailyna Kotsiubynska, who since her childhood had been fond of early works by Pavlo Tychyna, remembered that after reading Stus's article she discussed it with Vasyl, trying to soften the harshness of his crushing criticism of the poet praised by the Soviet authorities. It seems that Ivan Svitlychnyi to some extent also played a role of Tychyna's advocate, bringing a number of arguments. Influenced by communication with the critic, V. Stus abridged his article by cutting out some lengthy historical narratives on the subject of the Ukrainian revolution. Having learned from Ivan Svitlychnyi how Tychyna in the horrible prewar years found the courage to confront Mykyta Hruschov in defence of Maksym Rylskyi, who was faced with charges of «criminal activity» «uncovered» by the authorities of NKVD (The People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs), Stus makes fundamental changes to the ending of his article and generally somewhat softens the rigidity of his opinions. Vasyl Stus's rage was primarily directed against the totalitarian Communist government, which was purposefully destroying the poet in a poet, and personality in a person. The text corrected by Stus remained with Ivan Svitlychnyi. In less than six months the cruel age would lay its claim to Vasyl Stus himself. But unlike his vis-a-vis, Vasyl Stus ascended his Calvary proudly and unerringly. The moral maxims he brought before Pavlo Tychyna he just as ruthlessly and uncompromisingly applied to himself. In the early years of Ukrainian independence, Ivan Svitlychny's wife Leonida claimed back from the Security Service of Ukraine her husband's confiscated archive and gave it to the Public organization The Sixtiers Museum, members of which were assembling a stock collection for the future Sixtiers Museum which opened in August 2012 as part of the Museum of Kyiv History. The document we have discovered is a witness to the continuation of the author's work on the article which had already been written and given for revision to his friends-Sixtiers; it shows his desire to reveal with maximum objectivity the tragedy of Tychyna's genius, and the expression of great respect towards the leader of the Sixtiers' movement, literary critic Ivan Svitlychnyi. ; Творчість Василя Стуса – українського поета, правозахисника, учасника шістдесятницького руху спротиву тоталітарній системі в СРСР, є предметом наукового зацікавлення літературознавців та істориків. Вивчення його літературного спадку утруднено багаторічним замовчуванням творчості митця у радянський час, забороною публікацій в СРСР, фізичним знищенням частини його творів у місцях ув'язнення і трагічною смертю поета у таборі для політичних в'язнів ВС-389/36-1 біля с. Кучино Чусовського р-ну Пермської обл. Його твори осіли в архівах КДБ, збірках самвидаву, видавалися за кордоном; всі публікації матеріалів відбувалися без авторської участі. Знайдений у фондовій збірці Музею шістдесятництва документ – досі невідомий варіант літературознавчої праці В. Стуса «Феномен доби (Сходження на Голгофу слави)», присвяченої творчості П. Тичини. Авторські правки В. Стуса здійснені ним в процесі спілкування з Іваном Світличним, літературним критиком, лідером українських шістдесятників. Виявлений документ дає можливість прослідкувати розвиток творчої думки автора, засвідчує глибоку повагу В. Стуса до І. Світличного, і, найголовніше – нами отримана пізніша авторська редакція вже відомої статті Василя Стуса, причому редакція суттєво відмінна.

One of the main reasons of functioning of jargons in social and political materials of the edition is, in particular, its stylistic expressiveness. It is this feature that enables the implementation by jargons in publicistic texts of various communicative intentions of the addressant, transforming rational publicistic information into an expressively influential one. In the headlines of publications on social and political topics jargons contrast with neutral vocabulary, they are contrasted with bookish words and make a writing style more improvised, individual, emotional and expressive, which is typical for colloquial speech.The active use of jargons in the headlines of "Ukrainska Pravda" is caused by several extralinguistic factors: 1) politicization of all strata of the population; 2) criminalization of society; 3) pressure from authorities on public and municipal mass media; 4) relaxedness and vulgarization of oral speech, violation of the principles of language culture. Some jargons have got additional meanings that are not documented in the corresponding jargon dictionaries. They are one of the most effective means of carrying an expressive evaluation that often transfers not only negative processes, states and actions, but also can be an expression of language aggression, vulgarization of both individual public figures and journalists. Many jargons are calques of the corresponding Russian keywords or they can be lexical items that are written in accordance with Russian orthoepy.
