Starševsko posredovanje pri uporabi interneta med otroki v Sloveniji ; Parental mediation of Internet use among children in Slovenia
; Due to increased accessibility of digital media, children are beginning to use the Internet at an increasingly young age. Despite there being a lot of opportunities online, there are also a lot of risks that children and adolescents are exposed to. Children can experience either positive and/or negative experiences online, all of which depends on many factors. One of the most important is the way children are managed and controlled by their parents. The aim of the thesis is to examine the methods used by Slovenian parents of children between the ages of 9 and 14 to mediate children's usage of the Internet. In my thesis, I focus especially on the active and restrictive types of mediation and the personal factors that influence these two types of mediation, namely parental perception and internet use, parental education, and the child's age. The results of an online survey (n = 93) reveal that the age of the child and the parent's usage of the internet influence both types of parental mediation, while parental attitudes towards the internet do not significantly influence the mediation. The results also reveal a link between the types of mediation and parental education. Slovenian parents are somewhat more inclined to use a restrictive form of mediation. The results of the thesis demonstrate that there is a threshold of the usage of these types of mediations among Slovenian parents, and it further provides us with an excellent starting point for further research.

Medijski repertoarji v času navzkrižnih medijskih praks: študija med osnovnošolci in dijaki
In: Družboslovne razprave, S. 23-54
ISSN: 1581-968X
The article explores the relationships between young people's media choices,
technological preferences, and everyday life in connection to their cultural and
social characteristics. As such, it describes the conceptual framework of the media repertoires approach and selected methods. Media repertoires are approached
from a generational perspective, pointing out the conceptual and empirical challenges of such research. As one of the first attempts to conceptualise media practices at the intersection of family, educational and peer contexts, the article aims
to describe the qualitative research design of an empirical study that considered a
sample of 67 students aged 12 to 19. The sample is presented through an analysis of its sociodemographic characteristics, while personal media networks help
identify the teenagers' media preferences and their potential cross-connections.
Branje v polimedijskem okolju in (nove) oblike generacijske subjektivacije
In: Družboslovne razprave, S. 85-107
ISSN: 1581-968X
Through the perspective of the concept of generations and generationally
specific digital sociality, the paper analyses the transformation of reading as a
practice and as an experience. Based on analysis of interviews with teenagers,
it is argued that in today's polymedia environment users are constantly shifting
between platforms and live in constant anticipation of something new, being
permanently occupied, and constant affective engagement represent a condition for an algorithmically produced regime of visibility that normalises the distracted
multitasking they engage in. In the context of constant digital work, there remains
little space for practices beyond social platforms. The authors argue that in the
young interviewees' perception book reading does not hold the status of a cultural authority and that the role played by reading in distributing cultural capital
has been reshaped.

PRIMERJALNA ANALIZA RAZVITOSTI E-UPRAVE GLEDE NA RAZVITOST DRŽAVE ; COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF E-GOVERNMENT MATURITY WITH SELECTED INDICES OF COUNTRY DEVELOPMENT
; Research goal of comparative analysis is to check if there is any connection between level of e-government maturity and selected indices of country development and what impact of history of e-government maturity in Slovenia is on connection between level of e-government maturity and selected indices of country development. Three selected indices of country development are: index of gross domestic product per capita, percentage of population with tertiary education and percentage of population using the Internet to interact with public authorities. In comparative analysis I included data for 28 member states of European Union from years 2014 to 2017. In comparative analysis for Slovenia I used data from years 2004 to 2017. I used linear regression method and Pearson correlation coefficient. Result of analysis, according to Pearson correlation coefficient, shows that not all member states of European Union has positive correlation between level of e-government maturity and selected indices of country development. For member states of European Union is linear correlation weak or relatively low between level of e-government maturity and index of gross domestic product per capita and also between level of e-government maturity and percentage of population with tertiary education. Correlation is moderate when compared level of e-government maturity with percentage of population using the Internet to interact with public authorities. Slovenia has negative linear correlation at all selected indices of country development compared to level of e-government maturity. Moderate correlation for Slovenia is noticed between level of e-government maturity and index of gross domestic product per capita and between level of e-government maturity and percentage of population using the Internet to interact with public authorities. Relatively low correlation is between level of e-government maturity and percentage of population with tertiary education.

Inaesthetics and truth: The debate between Alain Badiou and Jacques Rancière
In this essay I attempt to defend Badiou's conception of inaesthetics, drawn from the Handbook of Inaesthetics, from the pertinent criticisms of Rancière. In doing so, it is possible to delimit the intra-philosophical effects (truth effects) of artistic events (this combination being the domain of inaesthetics). Badiou can be defended from all of Rancière's objections, save the objection that inaesthetics asserts a 'propriety of art.' However, in granting this objection, it is possible to open a different question regarding Badiou's work: what is the status of Badiou's comments on art outside of the Handbook of Inaesthetics? Through a reading of Le siècle, I show that, for Badiou, the importance of art extends beyond inaesthetics to other domains of thought. Yet Badiou has yet to answer the question of how art and truth relate outside of the domain of inaesthetics. ; Peer reviewed ; Final article published
