The development of the modern system of vocational education in Ukraine requires a thorough and comprehensive analysis and rethinking, including the axiological point of view, of the existing historical and pedagogical experience of vocational education in Ukraine in different socio-political conditions and ideological approaches. This article aims to consider one aspect of this issue, in which the axiological aspects of the functioning of vocational education in the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet Republic (USSR) in the 1920s are revealed.The article analyzes the influence of socially dominant values on the formation and development of the vocational education system of the USSR in the 20s of the twentieth century. It is described how changes in socially dominant values are reflected in the existing educational system and how they cause changes and transformation of it.The analysis of the functioning of vocational education in the USSR in the 1920s showed that this period is characterized by significant axiological and structural transformations of the vocational education system.It is established that in the 1920s, the vocational education system of the Ukrainian SSR clearly showed the depletion of the liberal system of values, which was largely replaced by the Bolsheviks' values and ideals. There is a frank ideologization of education and its applicants. One of the main tasks of vocational education of that time was the Bolshevik-socialist education of the youth.It is concluded that the ideological influence of the political system on the values of contemporary vocational education and the resulting transformation processes had a significantly negative impact on it, especially in the system of higher vocational education. However, even such ideological and largely profane, professional education was considered a significant value by the representatives of the peasantry and the proletariat at that time since it provided them with the opportunity for rapid career growth. ; Розвиток сучасної системи професійної освіти України потребує ґрунтовного та різностороннього аналізу й переосмислення, у тому числі й з аксіологічної точки зору, уже наявного історико-педагогічного досвіду функціонування професійної освіти на українських землях в різних суспіспільно-політичних умовах та ідеологічних підходах. На розгляд одного із аспектів цього питання і націлена ця стаття. В якій розкриваються аксіологічні аспекти функціонування професійної освіти на території УРСР в 20 роках ХХ століття.В статті проаналізовано вплив суспільно домінуючих ціннісних засад на формування та розвиток системи професійної освіти Української Соціалістичної Радянської Республіки (УСРР) в 20 роках ХХ століття. Відображено як зміни в суспільно домінуючих цінностях відображаються та зумовлюють зміни та трансформацію наявної системи освіти.Проведений аналіз функціонування професійної освіти на території УСРР в 20 роках ХХ століття показав, що цей період характеризуються значними аксіологічними та структурними трансформаціями системи професійної освіти.Встановлено, що в 20 роках ХХ століття в системі професійної освіти УСРР чітко простежується вихолощення ліберальної системи цінностей на зміну якій, в значній мірі силовими методами прививаються більшовицькі цінності та ідеали. Відбувається відверта ідеологізація освіти та її здобувачів. Одним з основних завдань професійної освіти стає більшовицько-соціалістичне виховання тогочасної молоді.Зроблено висновки, що заідеологізований вплив політичної системи на цінності тогочасної професійної освіти та зумовлені цим трансформаційні процеси відбилися на ній надзвичайно негативно, особливо гостро це виявилося в системі вищої професійної освіти. Проте, навіть така, заідеологізована та за своєю суттю в значній мірі профанаціїйна, професійна освіта з точки зору тогочасних представників селянства та пролетаріату розглядалася як значна цінність, завдяки якій їм забезпечувалася можливість швидкого кар'єрного росту.

[EN] This paper presents a novel application of Independent Component Analysis (ICA) to the evaluation of ashlar masonry walls inspected with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). ICA is used as preprocessor to eliminate the background from the backscattered signals. Thus, signal-to-noise ratio of the GPR signals is enhanced. Several experiments were made on scale models of historic ashlar masonry walls. These models were loaded with different weights, and the corresponding B-Scans were obtained. [EN] This paper presents a new algorithm for nonlinear prediction based on independent component analysis mixture modelling (ICAMM). The data are considered from several mutually-exclusive classes which are generated by different ICA models. This strategy allows linear local projections that can be adapted to partial segments of a data set while maintaining generalization (capability for nonlinear modelling) given the mixture of several ICAs. From a descriptive perspective, this article analyses the presence of campaign issues in the national and Aragonese daily press during the last three elections in Spain: 2011 Local and Autonomous Regional elections, 2011 General elections and 2014 European elections. The objectives of this research are to compare the differences between newspapers and between elections, to identify the main issues, and to ascertain which issues are more recurrent. In order to achieve these goals, quantitative content analysis was applied to 6691 texts published by El Pais and El Mundo and by the four main daily newspapers edited in Aragon (Heraldo de Aragon, El Periodico de Aragon, Diario del AltoAragon and Diario de Teruel). The results gathered by this research show that, during the three campaigns, the focus of the press centred on issues such as the organization and design of the campaign, electoral participation and abstention, and information about voting intention surveys. Therefore, the press pays more attention to the development of the campaign itself than to the issues that, according to public opinion surveys, are the most important for the citizens. The economic crisis is, however, a very important issue for both the press and Spanish public opinion. In contrast, political corruption, which is considered one of the more prominent issues in surveys, is not highlighted by the newspapers. ; Este artículo analiza, desde una perspectiva descriptiva, la presencia de los temas de campaña en la prensa nacional y aragonesa durante el último ciclo electoral completo: las municipales y autonómicas de 2011, las generales del mismo año y las europeas de 2014. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que la atención de la prensa en los tres tipos de elecciones está centrada en temas como la organización y el diseño de la campaña, la participación/abstención en los comicios y la publicación de sondeos. Por tanto, los medios ponen el acento en el desarrollo de la propia campaña y no tanto en aquellos asuntos que, según las encuestas de opinión, interesan a los ciudadanos. La crisis económica, en cambio, es un tema de interés social que también recibe un trato preferente por parte de los seis diarios analizados. Por el contrario, uno de los temas que más preocupa a los españoles, la corrupción y los escándalos políticos, apenas tiene cabida en la prensa.

The vibrational spectrum inherently serves as fingerprint of the chemical composition of each sample a thus makes identification and early warning of threats possible. Also microorganisms in areas susceptible to bacterial contamination can be sensed. However, to increase the sensitivity and selectivity of the technique various solutions have been studied such as Resonant Raman Spectroscopy or Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). In this work we present our results on the application of the SERS technique for the characterization of Bacillus atrophaeus spores, a biological and genetic simulant of the deadly bacterium Bacillus anthracis, already used in terroristic attacks in 2001 against U.S. media and government offices causing the death of five people and the infection of other 22. This work is part of the RAMBO project (Rapid Air particle Monitoring against Biological threats) whose ultimate goal is the development of an advanced sensor with high performances, capable of detecting few spores or bacilli of dangerous species with good selectivity and reliability so as to be used as an early warning sensor.
