Correspondence between Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta, Governor of Sonora and Gen. Alvaro Obregón, in which the former informed Gen. Obregón of the news published in a U.S newspaper on an alleged visit to the United States by Alberto J. Pani, he also complimented Gen. Obregón on his MANIFESTO TO THE NATION. Recommendations. Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta transcribed a letter he got from Mr. Octavio Campero from San Luis Potosí, in which he supported his presidential nomination and provided news on the national politics. Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta informed Gen. Obregón of the Peleceanos' (members of the Constitutionalist Liberal Party) misinterpretations published in the local newspaper. Mr. De la Huerta urged Gen. Alvaro Obregón to clarify the news published in the American press claiming that he supported a Military Intervention. Adolfo de la Huerta encouraged Gen. Alvaro Obregón to intervene with the Board of Directors of "El MONITOR REPUBLICANO" so that they stopped the attacks against Venustiano Carranza's administration and suggested the appointment of Roque Estrada as Chair. Likewise, Mr. De la Huerta suggested Gen. Obregón to intervene with the Constitutionalist Liberal Party to stop the bitter criticisms against the government. Gen. Obregón's reply by regretting not to have the sufficient power to change the politics of his party. Recommendations in favor of Mrs. Regina López- Hernández, Mr. Guillermo Carmona, Antonio Martínez, R.M. del Campo, Agustín Paredes, and Manuel de la Peña. Gen. Alvaro Obregón imformed Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta that Mr. Ramón P. Denegri, Mexican Consul in San Francisco, informed him of a workers' convention to be held in that city, so he suggested to send delegates. Letter from telegraphist Juan Tapia to Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta congratulating him on being governor of Sonora and supporting Gen. Alvaro Obregón's presidential candidacy. A matter concerning the tribute to Gen. José María Yáñez' remains in Guaymas. A matter concerning the charge of aid to EL NACIONAL newspaper. A matter concerning a concession to Dr. Atl. A recommendation in favor of the family of the late Severo Cota. A matter concerning a meeting of American and Mexican authorities on pacification of the Yaqui indians in Arizona and Sonora. Mr. Adolfo de la Huerta wrote to Gen. Alvaro Obregón in order to clarify news about alleged bad relations between Gen. Manuel Diéguez and the Governor of Jalisco; he also urged Gen. Obregón to encourage all the supporters of his presidential candidacy. A report addressed to Mr. De la Huerta concerning a backwater on the Canal of Villa de Seris and its potential to be used as a source of mobility. / Correspondencia entre el Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta, Gobernador del estado de Sonora y el Gral. Alvaro Obregón, en la cual el Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta comunica al Gral. Alvaro Obregón una noticia aparecida en la prensa norteamericana sobre una supuesta visita de Alberto J. Pani a los Estados Unidos; felicita al Gral. Alvaro Obregón por su MANIFIESTO A LA NACION. Recomendaciones. El Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta transcribe una carta que recibió del Sr. Octavio Campero de San Luis Potosí, donde este último le da su apoyo para la Presidencia y le comenta noticias de política nacional. El Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta comenta con el Gral. Alvaro Obregón equivocadas interpretaciones de los peleceanos (miembros del PLC), aparecidas en la prensa. El Sr. De la Huerta urge al Gral. Alvaro Obregón para que aclare noticias aparecidas en periódicos norteamericanos que afirman que Obregón es partidario de la intervención. Adolfo de la Huerta insta al Gral. Alvaro Obregón a intervenir para que la directiva de EL MONITOR REPUBLICANO deje de atacar al gobierno de Venustiano Carranza y sugiere se coloque al frente del mismo a Roque Estrada, así también le sugiere intervenir con el Partido Liberal Constitucionalista para que no siga atacando al gobierno. Respuesta del Gral. Alvaro Obregón lamentando no tener jerarquía suficiente para cambiar políticas del Partido. Recomendación a favor de la Sra. Regina López Vda. de Hernández, de los Srs. Guillermo Carmona, Antonio Martínez, R.M. del Campo, Agustín Paredes y Manuel de la Peña. El Gral. Alvaro Obregón informa al Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta que el Sr. Ramón P. Denegri, Cónsul en San Francisco, le comunica que una convención obrera se realizará en esa ciudad y le sugiere envíe delegados. Carta del telegrafista Juan Tapia al Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta, felicitándolo por ser Gobernador de Sonora y ofreciendo su apoyo a la candidatura del Gral. Alvaro Obregón a la Presidencia. Asunto relacionado con el homenaje que se rendirá a los restos del Gral. José María Yáñez en Guaymas. Asunto relacionado con el cobro de un giro de ayuda para el periódico EL NACIONAL. Asunto relacionado con una concesión a favor del Dr. Atl. Recomendación para ayudar a los familiares del finado Severo Cota. Asunto relacionado con una conferencia entre autoridades mexicanas y norteamericanas sobre pacificación de indios yaquis de Arizona y Sonora. El Sr. Adolfo de la Huerta escribe al Gral. Alvaro Obregón aclarando noticias sobre supuestas malas relaciones entre el Gral. Manuel Diéguez y el Gobernador de Jalisco; lo insta además a alentar a todos los partidarios de su candidatura a la Presidencia. Informe que se le da al Sr. De la Huerta sobre el remanso en el Canal de Villa de Seris y su aprovechamiento como fuerza motriz.
