; The Anthropocene concept, indicating the current age of climate change, has been elaborated within the natural sciences, although it has an eminently historical meaning. Due to its tendency to orientate global climate politics, the concept deserves a critical scrutiny. The article offers a radical critique of the Anthropocene narrative, revealing its gender, class, and neo-colonial connotations.

; «Defending with bare breasts social and sexual equality in the world» is the manifesto of Femen, movement of women activists who struggle against male power –espressed by patriarchy, politics and religion– by exposing their body in the public sphere as a strategy of protest. With feminists of all over fielded against them –including those of native Ukraine– and the mass-media eager to document and disseminate each street protest, Femen is a phenomenon of our times which offers us food for thought. In the following pages, we intend to look at Femen through the political and the performative lens, two possible and not necessarily mutually excluding analytical perspectives.

This paper shows the fundamental connection between feminism, anarchism, transindividualism and ecology, and argues that an anarcha-feminism – a feminism without hierarchies – is the key to defeating all forms of oppression, whether they are perpetrated on a political, sexual, economic, or racial basis. Beginning with a description of the condition of minority-status and exposure to violence in which women all over the world find themselves, the paper identifies the traditional tools of domination that the "first sex" uses to maintain its primacy. The most powerful of these tools is the State, in which almost all of the key roles are held by men. On these grounds, this manifesto points out that overthrowing the patriarchy is not possible without the simultaneous subversion of the current juridical-political-economic structure, namely without overcoming national borders and freeing ourselves from the most subtle form of state control: the control over gender identity. This is because, as the paper argues, drawing insights from an ontology of the transindividual, bodies in general and women's bodies in particular, are not individuals, objects given once and for all, but rather never complete processes. In this social ontology, the environment turns out to be constitutive of our individuality; therefore, a transindividual approach to feminism naturally leads to a form of eco-feminism in which not simply human forms of life but all animate and inanimate bodies are involved. Anarcha-feminism means that all forms of oppression are somehow connected because all bodies are connected and it is therefore not possible to fight one form of domination without fighting them all.

; What are the most useful lenses to wear and from which positioning is most effective to speak today, in order to answer the need for a paradigm shift within the critical thinking concerning the culture of Capi-talism? An increasing number of authors supportan interdisciplinary approach carried out, not only in academic environments, by political ecology and ecofeminism, connecting the critique of capitalism with that of patriarchy, and re-establishing a relationship between theory and praxis, in which the latter pro-duces knowledge through embodied experience. The following article agrees with this hypothesis, but its aim is not so much to delineate the contours of what feminist political ecology is and what new conceptual categories it introduces, but to understand instead what is the dialectical necessity that produces this ap-proach and what it distances itself from. To do so, I will use the process of resignifying the category of vulnerability in the contemporary feminist debate in the poststructuralist approach, as an antithetical ex-ample to the feminist political ecology lens and posture. The aim is to begin paving an autonomous path for this critical matter, beginning by delineating the antagonism toward poststructural feminism as one of the conflicts which produces it.

; The thesis investigates the life and political thought of Mary Astell (1666-1731), English political thinker, philosopher and theologian. Her reflections constitute an essential but rather unexplored chapter of English political thought and Constitutional History. Despite her Anglican Toryism, she embodies a proto-feminist critique to early modern patriarchy. While this critique is most consistently advanced by Astell, it is shared, notwithstanding some significant differences, by other outstanding female thinkers of the Century of Revolution. It can be defined as material antipatriarchalism, insofar as it questions the material power relations between the sexes and opposes the formal antipatriarchalism of Locke. Material antipatriarchalism is strictly linked to the female irruption into the emerging public sphere during the great rebellion of 1640s, which concurs with women's economic and legal agency. Therefore, together with the political and religious debate, legal treatises, conduct books, female petitions and prophecies of XVII and early XVIII century are taken into account in order to reconstruct the judicial and social context to which Astell belongs. Against this backdrop Astell elaborates her own political theology, which entails a critique of toleration policies and of the dissenters' and Whigs' attempt to reinterpret the English past. Astell theorizes the necessity of political order, whereby all power is held by God and the King, His vicar on earth. Absolute divine authority, in turn, paves the way to the radical equality of all souls in front of God, a condition that makes women's subordination to men unsustainable. The claim to women's equality is strongly reflected in the educational debate, where Astell intervenes proposing the creation of a philosophical-religious retirement that should lead to a separate public sphere able to prepare women to confront the male-run society.
