This report discusses the following topics: the concept and essence of outplacement; outline of the history of outplacement; outplacement in the context of other derecruitment processes; outplacement under conditions of increased risk and flexibility of the organization, outplacement as a tool of corporate social responsibility and social economy; the practice of using outplacement in Poland; benefits and barriers to the use of outplacement from the perspective of firms.
The main purpose of the study, the results of which are presented in this publication were to identify barriers and potential of development of outplacement tools: diagnostic, training and consulting services among the companies of Podlasie region. In the first stage, the analysis of existing data from desk research was carried out. Then quantitative research (CATI) was performed and as a complement, qualitative research was conducted by using focus group interviews (FGI), and in-depth interviews (IDI). The CATI surveys among business leaders included 200 people, as in the studies, which was conducted among employees of the organizations that included 200 interviews. In addition, a 6 FGI among representatives of businesses and people working as psychologists, counselors and coaches, as well as employees of companies were conducted. 6 in-depth interviews (IDI) were carried out with representatives of labour market institutions and entrepreneurs.
This publication provides a summary of the experience of the research and implementation project "PI-PWP: Innovation on the Cusp - testing and implementation of new methods of outplacement "carried out at the request of the Regional Labour Office in Bialystok, under the Operational Programme Human Capital, Measure 8.1 Development of employees and enterprises in the region, sub-measure 8.1.1 Supporting the development of professional skills and consultancy for businesses, co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund. The aim of the project was to adapt, create, evaluate, disseminate and implement in the Podlaskie Voievodship until the June 2015 two models of outplacement: for employers and employees of companies undergoing modernization and adaptation processes.

Industry specialized journalism is essential for the creation and use of computer (video) games. They are representing one of industries from creative economy which is emerging on early XXI century. Media representatives inform about the progress in development of new titles, test them before their release date, show developers the advantages and disadvantages of their productions, impact on user feedback and describe events and trends related to the communities directly involved in the games, as well as with their surroundings. The article aims to present a case study of human resources management model in the Internet editorial absorbed in topics connected to computer games which is a part of big media company.
