A thorough mass impact analysis was conducted using manipulative technologies and strategies. The research object was the election ...

The proposed article analyzes the motives for voter behaviour before and during the election. It is stated that understanding the patterns of their actions greatly mitigates the surprise of the election results. Recently, political scientists, sociologists, and analysts have learned a great deal about how voters actually make decisions that have a final impact on their choices, how important their views are for understanding democratic responsibility and social well-being. However, these studies have provoked more open-ended questions than answers. In the fall of 2014, the United States held by-elections to Congress. Scientists have another chance to test their versions of the American election results, to monitor the electoral behaviour patterns, to predict the results. Of particular interest, in terms of results, there is the behaviour of a voter known as swing voter. The article analyzes the social status of voters in this group, indicates the possible reasons for changing their electoral positions. Our study is based on a descriptive method and a method of systematic analysis of a number of procedures for collecting, primary analysis, and presentation of data and their characteristics. Administratively, we have focused our attention on the North-Eastern states, the findings of the study should be used responsibly to the situation in other regions of the country. The basic methodology is the most popular in the United States theory of retrospective voting. Its essence is that the political results should correspond to the indicators of competence and efficiency of the elected officials.

The author analyzes and systematizes the linguistic suggestiveness realization algorithms of political slogans, taking into consideration their inherent influential potency. As a result, a complex linguistic suggestiveness analysis model consisting of five crucial components is offered. The meta-model components are as follows: political slogan type (a classification introduced in the author's PhD thesis which describes the slogan according to two basic categories: "addressee's positioning" (naive/factual slogans) and "sender's positioning" (egocentric/critical slogans)); type of lies (based on P Ekman's works on concealment, distortion and exaggeration of truth); NAP structure of linguistic suggestiveness (as introduced in the author's PhD thesis, which implies that any potentially influential text consists of three basic elements: N (the (allegedly) negative state of the recipient's conscience that (allegedly) requires improvement), A (the action needed to improve this negative state) and P (the (allegedly) positive state that is to be achieved by performing the previous action); the NLP meta-model process by R. Bandler and J. Grinder (distortion, deletion and generalization); and the advertisement slogan construction model (as presented in the author's PhD thesis, which features three types of slogans: functional (a factual description of the advertised object), Gestalt (an emotional description) and complex (a combinat ion of the two previous types)). This meta model could be used for both analysis and synthesis of the advertisement text. Analyzing political advertisement slogans according to the presented meta model provides a complex view of the mechanisms of their creation, and, in a way, presents a detailed description of the sender's intentions and strategies, stipulating a deeper understanding of the advertisement market as a whole. The synthesizing of political advertisement text (by this proposed model) will aid in the construction of a linguistically influential text which will more effectively reflect the aims and tactics of the political campaign.

During the 2019 election campaign in Ukraine, one of the candidates successfully used the serial and political show. The purpose of the article is to describe the use of the serial and political show in the election campaign, to find out the reasons for the successful use of these new forms of political media communication. The study applied the method of social and psychological justification of electoral behavior under the influence of non-traditional forms of political media communication. The theoretical basis of the study is the theories of cognitive dissonance and cognitive congruence, social perception and causal attribution, as well as the socio-communication model of the «spiral of silence». It is established that the success of the serial and political show in the election campaign is due to a number of factors: the presence of social expectations in society, a paradigm shift, social cognitive dissonance. It is found out that with the help of the TV serial the image of V. Zelensky as a successful and democratic president was formed in the voters' minds, as well as the idea of a majority opinion was artificially created. With the help of a political show in which V. Zelensky acted as president and other political figures, the audience was convinced that his election victory was irreversible. He has become a well-known person among the population thanks to the popular serials and films that are broadcast on the television channel, which is the leader among the population in ratings and trust. This data confirms the long-term impact of television and impact of media linked to political parties on the election results. The results of the article can be used in planning political campaigns and in further studies of the influence of the media on voter behavior.Key words: applied communication technologies, elections, media, television, political technologies, media psychology.
