The article analyzes the relevance, factors and prospects of the transformation of modern sociological science. It is noted that digital technologies significantly change the fundamental foundations of social interaction, most everyday social practices, structures and conflicts. This poses a number of serious challenges to sociology as a science. It is emphasized that it is time to think deeply not only about the problem of transformation of what sociology studies, but also about the transformation of sociology itself as a specific intellectual practice. Attention is focused on the need for sociological analysis and interpretation of large-scale and long-term social processes, changes in the traditional way of sociology's participation in the formation of state social policy and the implementation of social reforms. Endogenous factors hindering the leadership of sociological science in the modern public intellectual discourse are identified, namely: fragmentation of sociology, its division into a huge number of directions, particular, local thematizations; lack of research attention of sociologists to the fundamental problems of social life; modern sociology does not form an agenda for public intellectual discourse and scientific research, does not define the problematic field of research and interpretation both at the microsocial level and at the level of societal and global phenomena; it is not socially engaged, does not engage in dialogic interaction with various groups of the public, does not help them to realize their values, interests and problems, to fight for their solution; sociologists do not show activity in related research areas (for example, such as social communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, political consulting, conflict studies), do not use for this a rich arsenal of sociological theoretical concepts, quantitative and qualitative methods; despite the mediatization of social life, sociology is not sufficiently media-based, it is extremely weakly present in the media space. A conclusion is formulated about the need to transform sociological thinking and sociological imagination, the need for serious changes in the educational programs of professional training of students, in particular their practical component, the search for new formats of professional communication.

The article provides a comparative review of the history, current status and areas of scientific activity of the Sociological Association of Ukraine (SAU), its creative ties with the European and world sociological community, in particular, joint research with Polish scientists. It emphasizes that most of the Ukrainian sociologists SAU members work in universities, the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and public opinion research centers. Numerous sociological (theoretical and empirical) studies on various issues of vital activity of modern Ukrainian society are carried out by their efforts. It is noted that in addition to studying the issues of social transformation in its political, economic, legal, social and cultural aspects, that have become traditional for Ukrainian sociology, in recent years Ukrainian sociologists have turned to the analysis of such problems as external and internal migration (the problem of internally displaced persons); military conflict in the east of Ukraine and the volunteer movement; social inequality, including in its new manifestations, including those caused by the digitalization of public life. It is emphasized that today the most pressing issue of sociological reflection is the changes that occur in Ukraine after the last presidential election. Attention is focused on the fact that the victory of the political rookie in these elections was due to the huge social disappointments of the Ukrainians, since their expectations provoked by the Revolution of Dignity were not fulfilled. The first and most important disappointment, according to sociological studies, is the fact that peace has not reigned in the country. Second, the living standards of Ukrainian citizens have not improved. Third, the fight against corruption did not bring significant results. Fourth, social inequality deepened: the rich became richer, and the poor became poorer. The fifth disappointment is the inefficiency of the declared reforms: judicial, medical, educational, customs, electoral, etc. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of the new government depends, among other things, on its consideration of such features of the mass consciousness of the Ukrainian population as a critical level of distrust of all institutions of power; value and ideological ambivalence and uncertainty. The conclusions are formulated about the unlikeliness of return of Ukraine to the orbit of Russian political and economic influence, as well as the victory of radical nationalist ideology in our country.

The article deals with prospects for improvement of administrative and legal regulation of light industry. The author has analyzed the notion 'administrative and legal regulation of light industry.' The main restrictive factors for development of light industry have been investigated. Necessity to research this sphere has been proved. It has been noted that a slow improvement of legislation in the area of light industry contributes to slow development of this sphere. It has been proved that if light industry as a specialized sphere of the national economy is integrated in international economy legislation can identify priority changes in Ukrainian economy and has a positive impact on future situation which is taking place nowadays at domestic and export market. This will make Ukrainian economy a fast one among the most developed ones due to the development of legislation particularly those legal acts which direct an advanced development of light industry and contribute to reforming of this sphere. In spite of the development of light industry and slow dynamics of changes the problems of administrative and legal regulation of the mentioned sphere have been solved yet. That is why it is necessary to research this sphere to improve legal regulation of light industry.

The tense political situation, total decrease in the solvency of population, reduction of the main macroeconomic indicators of the Ukrainian economy, depreciation of hryvnia led to the decrease in business activity of economic entities and negatively influenced trade activity, which led to changes in the structure of consumer demand. Therefore, current state and trends in the development of retail trade in Ukraine is important for effective management of the industry and satisfaction of social needs of the society. The current state is investigated and problems of the trade sector development in Ukraine are revealed based on determining trends in the development of the main indicators and financial results of trading enterprises. Comparative dynamics of retail trade turnover in Ukraine is analyzed, the availability of objects of retail trade enterprises, dynamics and structure of balance and financial results of trading enterprises are analyzed. Modern tendencies of trade enterprises activity are determined, the main problems, which accompany their functioning and development in the commodity market of Ukraine, are generalized, and the proposals for their solution are formed. According to the results of the analysis of indicators of trade enterprises development in Ukraine, negative tendency of the dynamics of retail trade turnover was found. The decrease in the number of retail objects caused the decrease in retail turnover. Positive is the increase in the value assets of trading enterprises' and the size of long-term liabilities and collateral that indicates credibility of enterprises by creditors. However, despite positive changes in the structure and dynamics of the balance of trading enterprises, their overall activity has become profitable only since 2016, but the share of unprofitable enterprises remains high. Introduction. The article refers to the need to study the problems of training of specialists of the hotel industry as a factor of tourism development. Analyzing researches of scientists, we can conclude that this issue is given a lot of attention for training of professional tourism industry – a profession of the future, is facing many challenges as a result of which it has perfected. After a professional training in a market environment should be carried out on the basis of competent approach with justification of appropriate educational goals Recognized as major flaws in the organization of professional education of the tourism sector in Ukraine; generalized positive experience of higher education institutions that are members of the European Union. The contents of the training requirements of future professional activity, the link training with work experience, training in the workplace, the relationship of theoretical courses with practical subjects, continuous training in the workplace during training in high school is what forms the basis of competent approach in the training of tourism in the EU. Purpose. To analyse the problem of training of specialists of the hotel industry. Methods. Benchmark analysis is used. Results. In the training of hotel industry humanistic values should occupy an important place. Specialist with humanistic composition, with a high sense of responsibility can inspire others to take leadership positions, according to the slogan «today are looking for – personality». Our task than to give expertise - should teach students to look at everything that happens eyes of the customer. Only then can we succeed. Putting yourself in the client can not find a way out standard situation. And so the fundamental principles of professional training of professionals of the hotel industry in the EU are: integrity, openness, accessibility, flexibility, insight, self-organization. Experts from the EU meet European standards and have a completely different style of work. This is known investors and this is a barrier to investment. Further study of the problem of training of specialist of hotel industry provides searching for the ways of introducing the got experience in condition of modern professional activity and use the contents, forms and methods of training specialist in high educational institutions of the countries of the European Alliance. Conclusion. This article does not dip out all problems of professional training of specialists of hotel industry, and only underlines the necessity of it subsequent development, in particular perfection of educational technologies and strategies in activity of teachers of higher educational establishments, use of technologies of positive decision of contradictions, in an educational process. Subsequent research of problem of training of specialists of hotel industry is foreseen by the search of ways of introduction of the obtained experience in the conditions of modern professional activity and introduction of maintenance, forms and methods of training of specialists of higher educational establishments of countries of EU.

Annotation. Introduction. Industry's development is an actual focus point for regulators and researchers. Certain preconditions for the development are related to the growing influence of digitalization on industry relations and informational support. Client-oriented approach becomes dominant in shaping relations inside and outside the industry. The goal of the article is to develop a concept of the aviation industry ecosystem by creating an algorithm for involvement of its agents and identification of stages to build the process of common efforts to develop the industry. The research relies on the following methods: data search, structural, cause and effect and system analysis. Results. The development of the aviation industry occurs under conditions of tight relationships with related industries, so it has a profound effect on their development too. The central point of this area is an airport, which directly cooperates with aircraft carriers operating under competing business-models of network or low-cost flights, but also is deeply integrated into local economic system as an important part of transport infrastructure. Formation of a common area for development, which is to stimulate the demand in aviation and related industries, notably the tourism, is underway with increasing speed, as liberlization of aviation transportation. So the governmental regulation shall use the specific approaches for the new situation. The aviation industry ecosystem regards a consumer on several stages of the travel process: inspiration for a trip, reservations of tickets, hotel and other services, preparation for a trip, airport experience, flight experience, arrival experience, destination experience and post-trip experience. The article defines which agents are responsible for the successful completion of every stage. The prospects for further research. The prospects for further research may apply the development of an economic-mathematical model for government regulation of the aviation industry under the perspective of its ecosystem development.

The article is focused on the historical sociology analysis of social identities studies, the results of which are presented in scientific publications in top Ukrainian periodicals. The direction of development of such researches in thematic, theoretical, and methodological aspects of their socio-cultural context is outlined. Possible new directions of research on the problem chosen by the author are determined. The author conducted a content analysis of the professional publications where the subject is identity and identification placed in the online archives of professional publications of Ukraine in sociology for the last decade. An analysis of the thematic diversity of the articles revealed that the vast majority of them are devoted to specific identities, primarily ethnic-national and local, identity is considered as a specific feature of the group; only a quarter of the publications have a general theoretical character and focused in the analysis of identity as such. It was found that the dominant research focuses have long been dominated by conceptualization and analysis of the formation of a selected social identity, but in recent years the authors pay more attention to the functional load of social identities, in particular their impact on Ukrainian society, especially its integration/disintegration, on conflicts and solidarity. The conclusion about a certain decrease in attention to the subject of social identities, and at the same time theoretical, methodological, thematic, and subject complication of their researches are formulated. It is emphasized that further comprehensive studies of identities (their connections, contexts, and social consequences) have a scientific perspective because it is possible to reach a deeper understanding of the processes taking place in modern Ukrainian society with their help.

The article has indicated the limits in the field of the sociology of intellectuals, philosophical analysis of this phenomenon was provided. It was shown a number of approaches to the study of the intellectual class in connection with its modifications in the twentieth century. Sociology of intellectuals, like its subject, has a very colorful history. It is true that when we are talking about the intellectuals the first thing that could come to our minds is the phenomena of French intellectuals, where the Dreyfus affair, which marked the emergence of new social group vested with the great influence in the society. Thenceforward, the term «intellectual» became of common, yet sometimes derogatory usage. The turning point of that times was the 4500-word article, published in the «L'Aurore» newspaper in January 1898 by Emile Zola and headlined «J'Accuse…!» – an open letter to the President Faure, defending unfairly convicted captain Alfred Dreyfus. In was the moment of great intellectual consolidation of philosophers, journalists, writers and other elite representatives in their struggle not just against the anti-Semitism, but struggle for justice, truth and rights for all the members of society that could not be discarded by the tradition and authority of the government any more. Later on the brilliant thoughts on intellectuals and their role were spoken by famous XX century French philosophers: Jean Paul Sartre, Michelle Foucault, Raymond Aron, Pierre Bourdieu and lots of others. Forexample, Sartre, stated in his article for the defense of the intellectuals, that that being specialists in some fields, they are always invading the fields out of their competence, bearing the universal system of values. The term is also equally well used in the Western and Eastern worlds, sometimes emerging from the facing the affairs that are analogous to the Dreyfus case. The turning point for the field of the sociology of intellectuals was the book «The Treason of the Intellectuals» by Julien Benda. Author's concerns were about his vision of the final decline of intellectuals as a class. However, despite the literary preferences and apocalyptic tone in his book, the main themes have been focused on the approach in sociology of intellectuals, considering them as a class. Intellectuals can develop common interests that put them apart from other groups in society, sometimes concentrating around those interests, and sometimes giving up any of its organization and being on the margins of the society. On other hand, Pierre Bourdieu believes that despite common interests, intellectuals are not always prone to collective action and only in certain moments of history they are exempt from political pessimism of pure culture and hypocritical involvement in politics, appear to protect its own interests, the best example of which is the Dreyfus affair. Therefore, we considered several approaches that have appeared in the twentieth century in the sociology of intellectuals, though they certainly do not exhaust the scope of such a controversial subject of philosophical investigation. It was shown on the paradigmatic significance of «The Treason of the Intellectuals» by J. Benda, as the first comprehensive philosophical reflection that became fundamental to sociology of intellectuals. The approaches that were described in the article should be borne in mind at least to avoid terminological controversy. In addition, intellectual communication takes place by means of media environment, the development of which has led to fundamental changes in our understanding of intellectuals and modern access to information undermines the credibility of the «classic» intellectuals as a class, but in any case, the request for them is not yet lost in the society, and therefore such research is still quite relevant.Keywords: sociology of intellectuals, science, society, the elite, the cultural capital, the class identity. ; У статті окреслено межі галузі соціології інтелектуалів, надано філософський аналіз цього явища. The article reveals the heuristic potential of the sociological concept of social activity developed by the founder of the Kharkov Sociological School E. A. Yakuba in the 1960- 1980s. Based on historical and sociological material and conceptual analysis, the author demonstrates the potential of this concept from the sociology of knowledge perspective. He analyzes a number of related categories and problems that are introduced by E. A. Yakuba to discuss the problems of social activity. It is emphasized that the elected by E. A. Yakuba position allows to study and measure social activity in detail (that is, answer the question "how?"), However, it is the sociology of knowledge that gives a chance to study the sociogenesis and ontogenesis of social activity (that is, answer the question "why?"). The definition, systemic connections and methods of operationalization and indication of social activity proposed by E. A. Yakuba are given and analyzed. A separate emphasis is placed on the analysis of how the category of "social activity" is associated with the category of "subjectivity". The most important plot is the connection of the social essence of activity, that is, its inclusion in the sociality of the individual as a connection with the social whole. The evolution of the views of E. A. Yakuba on these categories, as well as their relationship with social maturity, activity, personality, is investigated. The possibilities of the sociology of knowledge in synthesizing various aspects of E. A. Yakuba approach are explored. Particular emphasis is placed on the consistency of E. A. Yakuba's theory, and also the limitations and specifics of the (often implicit) influence of Marxism on its development have been studied. The conclusion about the possibilities and limitations of updating the concept of "social activity" in a sociological-knowledge reassembling of E. A. Yakuba's theory is formulated.

The studied normative documents have significant drawbacks, in particular the high complexity of the recommended methods and the lack of statistical justification for the accuracy of the labor standardization studies. Developing a method to address these shortcomings is effective from a social, economic and technical point of view.Target setting. It becomes inappropriate to centralize labor cost regulation by government agencies in a market economy, so any enterprise in Ukraine is interested in a method of labor standardization that would have low complexity of use, high adaptability to organizational construction conditions, and precision for engineering and economic calculations.Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The existing normative documents for setting labor standards were considered, known methods of norming were analyzed.Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. It is important to develop a labor standardization method that would be less time consuming, more accurate and statistically valid. This can be achieved by combining summary and research methods of labor standardization using mathematical statistics.The research objective. Development of labor standardization method of the construction work cost on the basis of the most effective methods, the accuracy and number of field experiments of which is substantiated by statistical methods.The statement of basic materials. Multicriteria analysis of labor standardization methods allows choosing the most effective method, based on information sources, including importance ranking of indicators. A technique is proposed that represents a combination of summary and research methods with a statistical justification for the full-scale studies number.Conclusions. The proposed method allows justifying the accuracy, reducing the complexity of labor standards developing. ; Актуальність теми дослідження. Є висока необхідність наявності ринково обґрунтованих показників вартості та тривалості виконання будівельних робіт. Вивчені нормативні документи мають суттєві недоліки, зокрема високу трудомісткість методів, що рекомендуються, та відсутність статистичного обґрунтування точності досліджень з нормування. Цього можливо досягти за рахунок комбінування сумарних та дослідницьких методів нормування із використанням методів математичної статистики.Постановка завдання. Розробка методики нормування витрат праці будівельних робіт на основі найбільш ефективних методів, точність та кількість натурних дослідів якої обґрунтована статистичними методами.Виклад основного матеріалу. Багатокритеріальний аналіз методів нормування дає змогу на основі інформаційних джерел вибрати найбільш ефективний метод, у тому числі за допомогою ранжування важливості показників. Запропонована методика, що являє собою комбінацію сумарних і дослідницьких методів зі статистичним обґрунтуванням кількості натурних досліджень трудомісткості.Висновки відповідно до статті. Запропонована методика дозволяє обґрунтувати точність, знизити трудовитрати розробки норм праці.
