Foucault e as heterotopias: espaço, poder-saber

This article deals with the theme and problem of heterotopy from Michel Foucault's thought, a notion that little explored by him, however, potentially useful for contemporary philosophical thought. In it we show what the French philosopher calls heterotopy (localized utopia / other space) and the way it implies the notions of space, power and knowledge. To this end, we approach Foucault texts especially from the 1960s and 70s. We interpret and report in this way to the heterotopias that are part of Foucault's studies and trajectory: factory-convent, working town, psychiatric asylum, prison and Experimental University of Vincennes. We understand that prison and its mechanisms are the paradigmatic example of a modern heterotopy that still says a lot about us. This indicates, it is worth noting, the complexity and ambivalence of the Foucauldian notion of heterotopy, insofar as it can encompass a series of devices not always related: sometimes, then, a disciplinary institution and a biopolitical space, other times, an experimental university.
Epistemoligia da produção do espaço lefebvriano

Epistemology is the science related to the practice of knowledge, for which the method is fundamental to scientific knowledge. This article focuses on the problematic of the epistemology of space production theory and its philosophical importance in Social Sciences. Objectively, we seek to draw notes on the epistemology of Henri Lefebvre's space production theory with emphasis on its significance to Geography. To do so, we will turn to the reading of his work of the same name La producción del espacio, as well as a review of relevant literature and information already published and available in print or electronic media about episteme, the concept of space and its capitalist production, of the urban and of Lefebvre's own theory. In short, the theory discussed it is part of a production about the city,the space and the urban that carries with it the marks of observation and interpretation of its time. Its author sought, through his method and methods of procedure, to construct a simultaneously descriptive, analytical and global knowledge project that would result in a theory about an urban space production.

A educação e a arte nos entrelugares da rua

Como se dá a educação na rua? Qual encontro é necessário? Qual encontro é permitido? Há educação na rua? Há meninos e há educadores nas ruas, uma relação acontece. Um entrelugar efêmero brota. Para regar o broto: arte. Canetinhas, papéis, pipas, varetas, tintas, olhos, corpos, trabalho, suor. Este texto apresenta uma pequena amostra de dados coletados para pesquisa de mestrado apresentada à Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp, caracterizando-se por um trabalho etnográfico sobre o fazer de educadores sociais e meninos de rua, em Campinas/SP. Observa-se a relação estabelecida entre esses pares, esses corpos educadores entre si. O encontro suficientemente bom de educadores e meninos os leva a construir saberes e metodologias que fazem surgir as possibilidades além rua, da droga, da contenção. A relação entre educadores e meninos confirma que uma grande aliada para a solidificação do vínculo e construção do processo educativo é a criatividade e o fazer das mãos.
O currículo como vivência da complexidade no espaço escolar

A interdisciplinaridade, como ação, é o espaço em que as demandas filosóficas do Século XXI, a Neurociência e as novas teorias educacionais dialogam em busca de uma educação para uma sociedade mais democrática, mais cooperativa e mais igualitária.

Regional integration and Brazilian Foreign Policy: Strategies in the South American space
The aim of the article is to present, based on theoretical studies of integration, the evolution of this process in Latin America and, most recently, in South America. Based on these studies, the goal is to analyze the role played by Brazil in the process, which defines as priorities of its foreign policy a regional and global framework for its international action that is based on both cooperation and power projection.The research has been conducted based on theories of integration, an historical background on Latin American integration and in Brazilian foreign policy, through its contemporary agenda. The answer was based on a comparative agenda and in a bibliographical critical analysis of the research material.The main findings of the paper point out that Latin American integration has specific features linked to the economic, political and stragetic realities of the continent that show the limitations of some theories applied to the European process, also that it depends on Brazilian foreign policy actions, that still sees the region as instrumental to its interests. So, Brazil sometimes fail to fulfill some requisites of integration that are essential to sustain its projects. Therefore, there is a cycle of enlargement and deepening of regional integration process in this political space that point out to the need of a more sustained compromise of Brazilian foreign policy towards these projects. If Brazil continues not to sustain these projects, they will lose momentum and significance once more, increasing power asymmetries in the region.

Ressentimento e vingança: conservação e desagregação do espaço político em Arendt

The public space is the stage for the most varied conflicts, resulting, in certain cases, in violence. However, it is in this space that men experience freedom, expressing themselves in front of plurality of opinions. As it is a space for free expression, our actions and opinions are not always received without contradiction, arousing resentful feelings. Following Arendt's thinking, the public space is the arena in which everyone should manifest themselves spontaneously, showing themselves from their uniqueness before the plurality that characterizes the community. As it is a space for the expression of the individual, guided by freedom and plurality, the individual's action is irreversible and unpredictable, enabling a cycle of misunderstandings and violence. Consequently, there is no way to prevent conflicting emotions from being fed by the damage originated from political action. According to Arendt, resentments are emotional states peculiar to human beings, facilitating common understanding and coexistence. Thus, resentment can lead to acts against injustice, with punishment and forgiveness, enabling a new beginning. However, there are acts that are not in keeping with forgiveness, such as the crimes perpetrated by Nazism, whose relationship established among men was not human. In the face of the absurdity of the situation, on which there is no way to judge, forgiveness has no place, closing the doors to a new beginning. Anyway, this text intends to explore the role of resentment as a factor that enables the survival of public space, but that can also lead to its destruction.
Da barbárie à memória: imagens urbanas como espaços de resiliência

In the years 1998, 2005 and 2017, three criminal deaths occurred in three spaces close to each other, in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Three middle class youths were brutally murdered and won posthumous tributes, of a sculpture and two graffiti respectively. And in 2018 councilwoman Marielle Franco was murdered, giving rise to a similar social understanding and giving a new meaning to the place where the crime occurred, as well as many others, with artistic interventions. Such spaces and their surroundings, and so many others that punctuate Brazilian cities, could well be called the polygon of violence or the pain circuit, for portraying dead people. In view of this reality, the research presented here deals with an analytical reflection in the light of the concepts of "recollection" and "distraction" by Walter Benjamin, with the communication proposal of Vilém Flusser, also based on the poetics of Fernando Catroga's absence and the cultural studies on the memory of Aleida Assmann, as a proposal for the proper understanding of these practices of urban interventions as a phenomenon and its social function. Finally, the analyzes made it possible to infer that this form of resignification of suffering generates spaces of resilience, since they materialize the memory of the loss in the urban environment, by means of an artistic framework, portraying a last positive image of the deceased, so that other passersby see and be affected by the knowledge of their names and their stories.
Espaços extraordinários: ensaio sobre a representação do espaço geográfico na HQ "A Liga Extraordinária" de Alan Moore & Kevin O'Neill

A HQ "Liga Extraordinária" insere, numa mesma trama, diversos personagens clássicos da literatura fantástica inglesa do século XIX, porém procurando preservar o máximo possível as características descritas nos livros originais. Isso cria a necessidade da elaboração de um único espaço geográfico que seja capaz de justificar a presença simultânea de personagens que não foram idealizados para interagir harmoniosamente. Como resultado, a HQ se destaca por sua forma singular de representação do espaço geográfico, pouco comum na mídia, apresentando uma Londres do século XIX que destoa daquela que a maioria dos leitores está habituada, ainda que (ou por isso mesmo) seja mais adequada aos personagens que a habitam. Um "espaço extraordinário" tão (in)coerente e (des)harmonizado com seus "extraordinários" habitantes quanto o espaço real em relação a nós mesmos, encontrando assim eco nos recentes trabalhos da geógrafa americana Doreen Massey.
O ensino de psicologia no espaço das licenciaturas

Neste artigo analisamos o ensino de Psicologia nos cursos de licenciaturas, procedendo a uma retomada de estudos e pesquisas de cerca de três décadas de história. A partir desta retrospectiva indagamos sobre o que aprendemos até aqui, quais problemas persistem em nosso cenário, exigindo de nós novas perguntas e ações. Consideramos o contexto de reformas curriculares, empreendidas recentemente nos cursos de licenciatura, e dados de pesquisa que indicam a persistência de muitos dos problemas antigos. Discutimos a idéia de que a persistência desses problemas está diretamente implicada com a manutenção da metáfora de fundamento na Psicologia da Educação, posicionando-se pela necessidade de modificação de seu status para o de uma disciplina teórico-prática.
Ação, espaço público e memória na perspectiva de Hannah Arendt

When we take active life as a starting point, we see that plurality, the category that underlies the action, manifests itself in the middle of the public space. The field of politics is that of plurality, in which the freedom that is the very condition of politics is necessary and, therefore, the public space becomes the welcoming sphere of both. It is in this sphere that memories and narratives are constituted through the actions taken in this space. Thus, our objective is to demonstrate how the public space is constituted and the importance of this space as a place of memory construction, having as main work The Human Condition of Hannah Arendt. In short, our reflection will be around the importance of remembering tragic events as a way of not experiencing them again.

The early 20th century has witnessed major transformations in both scientific and musical
domains. In particular, relativity has shown space and time to have physical reality (in
contrast to a priori conditions of objects), and the hierarchical structure of tonality was
abandoned in favor of progressively more systematic methods of composition evolving
from twelve-tone music. By singling out the migration of the scientific understanding of
space and time to musical terrain, as legitimization and metaphor for some theoretical
proposals of integral serialism, a parallel is drawn between the two fields which shows the
entwinement of scientific output and artistic theory and practice in post-war avant-garde.
Espaço, família e trabalho: a publicidade de um país em transformação

As imensas transformações por que o Brasil vem passando na última década – ligadas, como se sabe, ao consumo – têm trazido grandes desafios ao marketing e, consequentemente, à publicidade. Este trabalho pretende discutir, a partir de um olhar interpretativo, como esse novo panorama sociocultural tem se manifestado em termos sígnicos na propaganda brasileira, subvertendo questões básicas, como segmentação demográfica e posicionamento. A partir da perspectiva analítica da semiótica e com os referenciais teóricos da antropologia do consumo, discutimos de que maneira os imaginários da elite e do popular se manifestam na publicidade brasileira atual, demarcando dois mundos que se completam entre si, entre os quais se transita e a partir dos quais talvez se possa compreender as dinâmicas do consumo contemporâneo.
