[EN] "Summit" in line with our previous work, is a new sculptural approach on the concept of power and the large doses of ridiculous that, to our knowledge, has any human impulse tending to the domination of another. In Summit will focus all our attention on political power. Establishing a game between the real and the virtual, the proposal is the possibility of caricaturing the function, availing ourselves of the delusion that involves all totally realistic imitation rather than caricaturing the shape. Aided by the aversion usually generate the figures in wax museums, we Intend to avail ourselves of sculptural mimesis to subvert the auratic and distant image that inevitably accompanies all liturgy of power. As Foucault enunciated, political power is something that ultimately is exercised over the bodies. In our simulation, through an irreverent artistic act, we will get the sovereignty of the powerful bodies, from their high places to serve our purposes. We will offer them like a sort of homo sacer dethroned, tame, submissive and delivered to the public, to their closeness, their emotions and even their selfies . the sovereign body abducted and offered to the public as a mean for our particular "parlour subversion". Unlike other proposals where hyperrealism is used to ridicule the character, in Summit irreverence lies in the annulment of the pompous and majestic distance that allways defines every political, past or present power. Formally, Summit will comprise five hyper--‐realistic figures made from silicone and natural size, of the most important personalities of the world political scene, presented in photocalls official appearance. These figures may be touched and photographed by the public. During communication, will show pictures of the process of creating the first figure: Barack Obama. ; [ES] "Summit", en línea con nuestros anteriores trabajos, es un nuevo planteamiento escultórico en torno al concepto de Poder y a las grandes dosis de Ridículo que, a nuestro entender, presenta todo impulso humano ...
