In this survey-based research study, we identify student perceptions of the teaching methods used by instructors in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pristina, Kosovo's flagship public university. Of the 250 student respondents, the majority indicated satisfaction with survey items related to instructional activities such as the content of the lectures, the implementation of the syllabus, and appropriate assessment. On the other hand, the respondents rated technology integration, advanced active learning strategies such as problem-based learning, simulation/role-play, and debates among the lowest. Overall, students disagreed with the statement that their instructors utilized contemporary pedagogical strategies in their instruction. In conclusion, raising student satisfaction with teaching strategies is a matter of strategic importance for strengthening the healthcare workforce both for Kosovo and others around the world. The results of this study suggest that, in Kosovo, student satisfaction with foundational practices, such as active learning, can be expanded through the incorporation of technology mediated and advanced pedagogical strategies. To remain competitive in a global marketplace, both students and instructors will likely need to adopt forward-looking practices that are different from their prior experiences.

The present research is aimed at assessing the extent to which university teachers employ student-centered learning, independent learners, higher order thinking, usability in real world and a conducive learning environment. Demographic differences like gender, age, experience and position differences in teachers' usage of constructivist practices are explored. Six dimensions of the constructivist practices questionnaire are sorted through the use of exploratory factor analysis. It is identified that many teachers use the constructivist pedagogical practices at a moderate level. No significant difference is found in the use of constructivist practices of gender and experience strata, while significant difference is present in the constructivist practices of teachers in age and position strata.

Aim: To examine the relationship between reflective thinking and metacognitive awareness to help medical students to be independent learners who can control their learning and improve their professional performance.
Study Design: It is a cross-sectional correlational study.
Place and Duration of the Study: This study was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine-Suez Canal University in August 2018.
Methodology: This is a cross-sectional correlational study; the study population included the undergraduate medical students in all study years at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University. The sample was 264 randomly selected students by using a cluster sampling technique. The instruments that were used for data collection were the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) to measure students' metacognitive awareness levels, Reflection-in-Learning Scale (RLS) to measure the students' reflective learning levels.
Results: The descriptive statistics of both MAI and RLS total scores of students in the six study years revealed that students have mean total MAI total scores = 178 ± 26 and have mean total RLS total scores = 60 ± 13.
The Spearman's correlation between the metacognitive awareness and the reflective learning skills of medical students revealed that there was a statistically significant high positive correlation between the metacognitive awareness and the reflection in the learning of FOM-SCU students (p= 0.699, p-value<0.0001).
Multiple regression analysis revealed that the weighted combination of the predictor variables explained approximately 50% of the variance of reflection in learning.
Conclusion: It is concluded from this study that the students at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University have fair to good metacognitive awareness and partial to ample reflective abilities. There is a significantly high positive relationship between metacognitive awareness and the reflective learning skills of medical students.

This article is devoted to the study of internationalization strategy of the University of Ghana as well as character-ization by visiting scholars of their work at the International Faculty of the University. The paper draws the boundaries between such processes as globalization and internationalization, and also defines the areas of their functioning. The authors turn their attention to the process of glocalization associated with the introduction of a local element, without which the promotion of global processes can be difficult to apply. The paper indicates the reasons for the transformations in higher education, identifies strategic goals and discusses ways to achieve these goals. The article describes the need for internationalization of universities, in general, and the University of Gha-na, in particular. Further, the paper considers priority areas related to partnerships with other universities, attract-ing and recruiting freelance specialists from foreign countries, and creating student and teacher exchange pro-grams. International university teachers from Africa and Europe were interviewed. The study highlights the par-ticular interest in recruiting of international university teachers who have taught and continue to teach at various higher education institutions around the world, and therefore are highly qualified professionals with experience. Exchange with their experiences is in demand by many universities, since, while they are accumulating their own experience in a foreign institution, simultaneously they pass it on to colleagues and students. Our article further focuses on ways that can improve activities of the University of Ghana and overcome difficulties and characteriz-es the advantages and disadvantages of the work of the faculty with students. The paper also presents the results of a survey of respondents, where the international faculty assessed their stay and teaching at the University of Ghana. The results of the applied method of interviewing the international faculty (the object of study) will be-come the key to understanding the problems and solving the issues related to the internationalization of higher education in general (subject of study). The opinions of the respondents will be made available to the manage-ment of the University of Ghana. They may also influence the educational processes of other universities, since the University of Ghana is one of the leading institutions of higher education in the country and Africa, and a leader in the internationalization of education and in modern scientific approaches to teaching
