The paper analyses the contextual semantics of the Russian zoonym "wolf" and its equivalents in English, Spanish, and Chechen languages and also studies the various set expressions and paremiological phrases with this component. In all languages, zoonyms contain some connotations in their lexical meaning that are the basis for creating a metaphorical nomination and determine a phrase-forming potential for animal nomination. The aim of the study is to reveal the particularities of language representation of the concept "wolf" in four not closely related languages by different connotative parameters by comparatively analysing the functioning of lexical items that verbalize this concept. The authors used the methods of contextual analysis, linguo-culturological interpretation, comparison, and collation. The numerous examples for the study have been taken from belles-lettres, contemporary publicist writing, folk fairytales, and songs as well as proverbs and sayings. The analysis permitted us to indicate nonequivalent and comparable nominations: there are metaphorical meanings with positive and negative connotations. The concept "wolf" evokes folk, historical, cultural, literary and political associations. The comparison and collocation of the zoonym "wolf" in the languages under investigation have given valuable information that allows creating the national and psychological portrait of a linguistic identity.

Realization of Weber's research program, its further development and application is one of the main objectives of neo- and post-Weberianism. This article is devoted to the analysis of interrelation of views of Max Weber and Cornelius Castoriadis on problems of an autonomy, bureaucracy and democracy in the light of an explication of Weber's research program in methodological and ontological aspects. The theatrical metaphor (that is, the metaphor with the original conceptual sphere "All the world's a stage"), originated in Antiquity, is realized in literature from different eras and is widely spread in both dramatic and epic works. The historical novel often interprets historical events as a political game, the interaction of social roles, the clash of wills and characters - a dramatic action. Związek Ochotników – twórcy armii litewskiej (1927–1940)Związek Ochotników twróców armii litewskiej był najliczniejszą organizacją weteranów na Litwie. Powstała 7–8 stycznia 1927 roku i w 1940 r. miał około 4000 członków i 35 oddziałów na całej Litwie. Celem Związku była obrona wolności i niepodległości kraju, pielęgnacja świadomości narodowej, poprawa sytuacji społecznej jego członków oraz pielęgnacja pamięci bohaterów narodowych. Organizacja była aktywna w życiu politycznym kraju. Ochotnicy gorliwie odpowiadali na wydarzenia krytyczne dla ich ojczyzny i w nich brali aktywny udział albo nawet w kluczowych momentach występowali jako przywódcy. W tym czasie rząd jednak czasem nie dawał rady konstruktywnie zareagować na ich prośby. W roku 1938 zwołano kongres ochotników, którego oczekiwano od 1933 r. Było na nim 6500 uczestników z całej Litwy i nie wszyscy byli członkami Związku. Po okupacji sowieckiej w 1940 r. Związek został rozwiązany. Większa część pieniędzy została przekazana Komunistycznej Partii Litwy. Związek Ochotników został później odtworzony w trzech miejscach: Niemczech, USA i Litwie (w. 1994 r.) i wciąż jest siłą z nowymi ochotnikami z lat 1990–1991. It was organized on January 7–8, 1927, and in the year 1940 had around 4 thousand members and 35 departments throughout Lithuania. The aim of the Union was to protect and defend freedom and independence of the country, to raise and cherish national consciousness, to improve social welfare of its members and to take care of the eternal memory of the national heroes. The organization was active in the country's political life. The volunteers ardently responded to the events critical for the homeland and took an active part or even acted as leaders in crucial situations. The government of that time, however, sometimes failed to respond constructively to their requests. In the year 1938 the congress of volunteers was summoned, which was expected since 1933. The number of participants was 6500 from all over Lithuania and not all of them were members of the Union. Following the Soviet occupation of 1940 the Union was dissolved. Most part of the money was transferred to the Communist Party of Lithuania. The Volunteer Union was then re-established in three places: Germany, the USA, and Lithuania (1994) and is still in force with the volunteers of 1990–1991. The author of the present article is the President of the Kaunas department of the Volunteer Union of the Lithuanian army creators.

В статье рассматриваются отзоонимные фитонимы якутского и хакасского языков, репрезентирующие национально-культурные особенности народа, с целью выявления структурных моделей образования номинацийфитонимов. Фитонимическая лексика представляет собой особый пласт лексики любого языка и является неотъемлемой частью лингвокультуры, отражающей особенности развития истории народа. В работе нами определяются наиболее продуктивные структурные модели образования номинаций растений с компонентом-зоонимом, а также выявляется роль соматизмов в составе фитонимов рассматриваемых языков. Актуальность работы обусловленанеобходимостью системного изучения структурных особенностей фитонимической лексики якутского и хакасского языков. Материал исследования извлечен методом сплошной выборки из различных лексикографических источников: аутентичных лингвистических, диалектологических, тематических и этимологических словарей. Также в работе использован языковой материал, собранный в ходе экспедиционных выездов в регионы Якутии. В процессе анализа нами выявлены основные компоненты-зоонимы, принимающие участие в образовании фитонимов: як. бөрө «волк», як. сылгы«лошадь», як. киис «соболь», як. ыт «собака», як. ынах «корова», хак. аба«медведь», хак. киик «косуля», хак. адай «собака», хак. iнек «корова», хак. пӱӱр «волк», хак. хой «овца» и др. Также определена наиболее продуктивная структурная модель, свойственная отзоонимным фитонимам рассматриваемых языков. Врамках исследования установлены разного рода устойчивые ассоциативные связи, характерные для отзоонимных фитонимов, имеющих в своем составе соматизмы.
The article examines zoonymic phytonyms of the Yakut and Khakass languages which represent the national and cultural characteristics of the people in order to identify the structural models of the formation of phytonyms. Phytonymic vocabulary represents a special layer of vocabulary of any language and is an integral part of linguistic culture, reflecting the peculiarities of the development of the history of the people. In this paper we determine the most productive structural models for the formation of plant nominations with zoonymic component, and also determine the role of somatisms in the composition of phytonyms of the languages under consideration. The relevance of the work is determined by the need for a systematic study of the structural features of the phytonymic vocabulary of the Yakut language. The material of the research work is selected from various lexicographic sources extracted by continuous sampling from authentic linguistic, dialectological, thematic and etymological dictionaries. The work also contains language material collected during expeditionary trips to the regions of Yakutia. The article identifies the main zoonymic components that take part in the formation of phytonyms in the Yakut language: boro 'a wolf', sylgy 'a horse', ki:s 'a sable', yt 'a dog', ynakh 'a cow', etc. In Khakass: aba 'a bear', ki:k 'a deer', adai 'a dog', inek 'a cow', pur 'a wolf', khoy 'a sheep', etc. The most productive structural model in the Yakut and Khakass languages is also determined. Moreover, the study establishes various kinds of stable associative connections characteristic of zoonymic phytonyms containing somatisms.

В статье рассматриваются отзоонимные фитонимы якутского и хакасского языков, репрезентирующие национально-культурные особенности народа, с целью выявления структурных моделей образования номинацийфитонимов. Фитонимическая лексика представляет собой особый пласт лексики любого языка и является неотъемлемой частью лингвокультуры, отражающей особенности развития истории народа. В работе нами определяются наиболее продуктивные структурные модели образования номинаций растений с компонентом-зоонимом, а также выявляется роль соматизмов в составе фитонимов рассматриваемых языков. The article is devoted to the close historical and ethnocultural relations between the indigenous inhabitants of the Ural-Volga region and Turkmenistan, existing since the Middle Ages. According to Eastern authors, at that time part of the Bashkirs lived on the Syrdarya and in the Aral Sea region, along with the ancestors of the Turkmens, from where, due to political upheavals, some moved to the interfluve of the Urals and the Volga, while others moved to the Amudarya and further to the Transcaspian. Of particular interest for the development of our theme are similar subjects in Bashkir and Turkmen folklore. For comparison, several Bashkir traditions recorded by P. Nazarov, N. Maliev, R. Kuzeev and others are given in the work. The mention of Oguz-Khan, Turkmenistan, Turkmen khans, the wolf is common for folklore, especially the south-eastern Bashkirs. Other sources often mention Gorkut-Ata — the hero of the Oguz epic. A large number of ethnonymic parallels with the Turkmens also speak about the Oguz origin of some Bashkir clans. In the names of the settlements of Bashkortostan, the ethnonym "Turkmen" is also recorded. There are other similarities: both nations profess Islam, and the Turkmen language, in a number of phonetic features, draws close to Bashkir. Since 1993, the Turkmen Cultural Center has been actively operating in Bashkortostan. Republic representatives take part in many international forums, often held recently in Ashgabat. ; Статья посвящена тесным историческим и этнокультурным связям между коренными жителями Урало-Поволжья и Туркменистана, существующим с эпохи Средневековья. По сведениям восточных авторов, в это время часть башкир обитала на Сырдарье и в Приаралье вместе с предками туркмен, откуда из-за политических перипетий одни переселились в междуречье Урала и Волги, а другие — на Амударью и далее в Закаспий. Особый интерес для развития данной темы представляют схожие сюжеты в башкирском и туркменском фольклоре. Для сравнения в работе приводятся несколько башкирских преданий, записанных П. Назаровым, Н. Малиевым, Р. Кузеевым и др. Упоминание Огуз-хана, Туркмении, туркменских ханов, волка является обычным для фольклора в особенности юго-восточных башкир. В других источниках часто упоминается Горкут-Ата — герой огузского эпоса. Об огузском происхождении некоторых башкирских родов говорит также большое количество этнонимических параллелей с туркменами. В названиях населенных пунктов Башкортостана зафиксирован и сам этноним «туркмен». Имеются и другие схожести: оба народа исповедуют ислам, а туркменский язык по ряду фонетических особенностей сближается именно с башкирским. С 1993 г. в Уфе активно работает Туркменский культурный центр. Представители же Башкортостана принимают участие в работе многих международных форумов, в последнее время часто проходящих в Ашхабаде.

Lingvoimagology is a marginal linguistic school, based on interaction of the theory of communication and cognitive linguistics. The object of lingvoimagology is an image of a nation and its country in the opinion of other nations. The subject is an axiological characteristics, stereotypes, verbal and nonverbal behaviour, paralinguistic situation. The material for lingvoimagological analysis can be taken from itinerary, literary and publicistic texts, particularly poet's perception as he is an embodiment of his nation's vision of the world. Therefore a poet expresses an appraisal of some people (nation), its representatives and country as geographical, political and social formation. In the article, the outstanding Russian poet of the beginning of the XX century N. Gumilev's sight of Africa is analysed. He lived a short but very bright life as travelled a lot. The poet was brought up in the best traditions of elite Russian culture and represents this point of view. The collected poems «Poems. Letters about Russian poetry» («Стихи. Письма о русской поэзии» М., 1990) is examined. The following results are achieved. In the analysed book the most mentioned part of the world is Africa — 71 mentions, Europe — 49, Asia — 11, America — 2, Australia — 1. 8 theme groups are allocated, their rate is defined: 1) fauna (31 mentions): lion (4), wolf (3), monkey (3), rhino (3), buffalo (2), hyena (1), leopard (1), tiger (1), hippo (1), giraffe (1), dog (1), gazelle (1). Also insects and reptiles are described in the group: wasp (1), an anaconda (1); 2) reservoirs (10): Nile (3), Red Sea (3), Lake Chad (3), the Suez Canal (1); 3) countries (10): Liberia (3), Somalia (2), Abyssinia (2), rest of the countries are mentioned once: Dahomey, Egypt, Zambezi, Niger; 4) Europeans in Africa: Italians (2), Europeans in the whole (2), Frenchmen (1), Russians (1); 5) landscape of a country (4): a desert as a whole(2), Sahara (1), Gegera mountains (1); 6) Africa as a whole (4); 7) plants (3): Cairo garden (1), palms (1), mimosas (1); 8) people (2): Arabs (1), women (1). Therefore, the poet's perception of so far lands gives a possibility to explicate people's world view in the definite spatiotemporal frames. ; Лингвоимагологический анализ предполагает анализ имиджа одной страны в глазах другого народа. В статье рассматривается восприятие выдающимся поэтом Н. С. Гумилевым, отражающим русское мировидение, Африки, что представляет собой объект лингвоимагологического анализа. В ходе исследования выявлено, что Африка является наиболее упоминаемой частью света в сборнике «Стихи и письма о русской поэзии» Н. С. Гумилева — 71 упоминание, (Европа — 49, Азия — 11, Америка — 2, Австралия — 1). Выделено 8 тематических групп, определена их частотность: животный мир (31 упоминание), страны (10), водоемы (10), европейцы в Африке (6), ландшафт (4), Африка в целом (4), растения (3), люди (3). Предлагаются принципы отбора материала для анализа, разработка методики лингвоимагологического исследования. ; Лінгвоімагологічний аналіз передбачає аналіз іміджу однієї країни у рецепції іншого народу. У статті розглядається сприйняття видатним поетом Н. С. Гумільовим, який втілює російське світобачення, Африки, що є об'єктом лінгвоімагологічного аналізу. У ході дослідження виявлено, що Африка є найбільш згадуваною частиною світу у аналізованих текстах — 71 згадка, (Європа — 49, Азія — 11, Америка — 2, Австралія — 1). Виділено 8 тематичних груп, визначено їх частотність: тваринний світ (31 згадка), країни (10), водойми (10), європейці в Африці (6), ландшафт (4), Африка в цілому (4), рослини (3), люди (3). Пропонуються принципи відбору матеріалу для аналізу, розробка методики лінгвоімагологічного дослідження.
