The article describes the original aesthetic and philosophical concept – the motor aesthetics of Akim Volynsky. Volynsky uses the concept of «motor aesthetics» in the Kniga likovanii, describing the value of circular lines for the «all aesthetics, visual, sound and motor», and particularly pirouette for motor aesthetics. The term «motor aesthetics of Akim Volynsky» is used in this article for the first time and is studied by the author from an interdisciplinary perspective. Motor aesthetics is developed by Volynsky for plastic art as a language of description of classical ballet, he introduces the basic concepts, formulates the laws, defines the basic philosophical categories that underlie it. The importance of Volynsky's work on the formation of the language of classical ballet description is recognized in the professional environment and theater criticism. The study of the motor aesthetics of Akim Volynsky is relevant in connection with the study of the philosophical foundations of intermedial analysis. The article deals with the problem of time and space in the motor aesthetics of Akim Volynsky for the first time. The direct connection of Volynsky's later works on ballet with his early article on Kant is revealed, the conclusion about the originality of Volynsky's philosophical position in relation to the categories of time and space is made. Using the thesaurus of Kant's transcendental aesthetics, Volynsky defines the two-act structural relationship of time and space according to the «par coupe» (fr) principle, which he regards as universal. It was concluded of Volynsky's motorial aesthetics value not only in the history of classical ballet and theatre criticism, the history of of the Russian literature and philosophy of the late 19th - early 20th century, but also in the modern philosophical anthropology and ontology.
The article is dedicated to the insufficiently studied problem of the visual image that was formed in the creative aesthetical discourse of Alexander Blok. His articles "Colours and Words" (1905), "Works of Vyacheslav Ivanov" (1905), "About the Present Condition of the Russian Symbolism" (1910), "In Memory of Vrubel" (1910) and also exhibition overviews are considered in the article. The main task of the research is to reveal that the visual image is a way to represent thoughts of symbolist poet, and it is also a model of visual perception, which is characteristic for the modernist culture. The analysis methods are receptive criticism, intermediality and phenomenology of E. Husserl and M. Merleau-Ponty. The reasons why Alexander Blok paid close attention to the works of such painters as A. Böcklin, M. Vrubel, V. Kandinsky and others are analysed in the article. The examples demonstrate how the principles of Italian painters (Fra Angelico, Giovanni Bellini, Leonardo da Vinci) reflected in his aesthetics. It is indicated that the visual image in Blok's articles is symbolic and metaphysical representation of the aesthetic idea. Blok uses various types of unclassical ecphrasis that have a function of visual codes. Moreover, he creates a type of "fictitious" ecphrasis as a "landscape of consciousness" and uses linguistic contamination. The conclusion is made that the new understanding of art emerges in Blok's aesthetics, which was characteristic for modernist poetics of the beginning of the XX century. The function of the visual image is representation of symbolic forms (space, colour, composition, things, nature, body dynamics) as phenomena of consciousness and ways to express ideas.
This article defi nes the aesthetics of the Arab world and its artistic and philosophical heritage. The deeper original character of the philosophy of Islam is investigated. In addition, the relations of philosophical and religious worldview in art (on the example of the Arabic school of poetry) are considered. In this sense, despite the fact that Islamic art is characterized by a number of formal features, such as abstraction, plane image, it has always had a spiritual function, which was closely related to the guidelines of the Muslim and philosophical worldview.
The article explores the phenomenological aesthetics of Hans-Georg Gadamer, specifically focusing on its application in the context of timbral text analysis. The study thoroughly investigates how Gadamer's phenomenological perspective can enhance the understanding and interpretation of texts, by viewing them as intricate, multi-layered constructs that require analysis of their emotional and expressive elements. The authors delve into such fundamental concepts, as the fusion of the author's and reader's horizons, the hermeneutic circle, and the dynamic nature of these horizons within timbral analysis. A significant portion of the paper is dedicated to examining the role of historical context and personal preconceptions in the interpretation process. It underscores the importance of acknowledging historical and cultural horizons to achieve a comprehensive understanding of texts. The article presents an innovative approach to the interpretation of literary texts, merging Gadamer's phenomenological aesthetics with timbral analysis techniques. This research redefines traditional text analysis methodologies by attempting to bridge the gap between philosophical aesthetics and practical text analysis. This work offers a novel perspective on text analysis and interpretation. The authors' approach not only deepens the understanding of Gadamer's phenomenology but also demonstrates its utility in text analysis. The study is poised to influence future research in text interpretation, encouraging a more nuanced and holistic approach that takes into consideration both the aesthetic and emotional components of texts, as well as the cultural and historical context in which they are embedded.
The article is devoted to the political aspects of genesis and expansion of aesthetics in the era of modernity. Aesthetics, therefore, is contradictory concept, combines both the possibility of intrusion of domination in the affective and somatic life and utopian vision of equality of sensual in the community of autonomous subjects. POLITICS OF AESTHETICS IN THE PROJECT OF MODERNITYThe article is devoted to the political aspects of genesis and expansion of aesthetics in the era of modernity. The article is an overview of a prominent scientific event — The Second Russian Congress of Aesthetics (Yekaterinburg, July 2021). The paper assesses the state of aesthetics as a scientific and educational discipline throughout its history of the Soviet and post-Soviet periods. The article highlights four stages of the Soviet history of aesthetics. The first stage, the 1930s, received following K. Clark, the nomination "return of aesthetics", which was associated with the general conservative turn of the Stalinist cultural policy, the creation of the socialist realist canon, the program of building socialism, the denial of the functionalism of the previous (avant-garde) stage. The "return of aesthetics" had not only a political and pragmatic content but contributed to the saturation of Soviet culture with fragments of the classical heritage, primarily the philosophical one. At the second stage (late Stalinism), there was a rollback of aesthetics in the direction of extreme political instrumentalization. During a short period of the "thaw," aesthetics began to go behind public liberal discourse, yielding leadership to journalism and art criticism. At the stage of the "long seventies", aesthetics becomes an influential and in-demand scientific discipline, included in the program of "technical progress" and "education of the builder of communism", important ideological, aesthetic, and applied tasks are assigned to aesthetics since it is expected to influence all spheres of life. Aesthetics as philosophy and science develops, responding to contacts with semiotics, psychology, anthropology, cultural history, and sociology. Relying on the selective stream of translations of Western art philosophy, Soviet aesthetics begins to resonate with world trends, which is facilitated by the tacit consensus of the idea of aesthetics as a part of philosophical and humanitarian knowledge that has its autonomy. The state of aesthetics in the 1990s and early 2000s is qualified as a change of scientific generations and the emergence of new groups of professionals in aesthetic and artistic knowledge, not related to academic aesthetics, forming their conceptual vision of the development of art and aesthetics relations. The current state of aesthetics was diagnosed with a brief description of the last 15 years, when contacts with foreign aesthetic schools became regular and academic aesthetics began to be in demand in master's educational programs, intellectual venues for festivals, and biennials of contemporary art, and cultural management programs. A large portion of the article is devoted to the analysis of the composition of the participants, their professional interests and competencies, the frequent concepts discussed in the sections, the structure of polemical problems, and crosscutting topics of all congress participants.
The article analyses interpretation of Schelling's aesthetics in Losev's work «The very itself» (Samoe samo). It shows that Losev's translation of the «Philosophy of arts» deformes some Schelling's ideas about the Absolute, nature and arts. It makes the interpretation of his aesthetical conception non-immanent and non-relevant. 1991–2005. The article is dedicated to the insufficiently studied problem of N.F. Fyodorov's projective aesthetics research connected to his interpretation of Russian painting of the 19th century. The objects of the analysis are such works of the philosopher as "The Question of Restoration of Kinship among Mankind. The Means for the Restoration of Kinship (Sobor)" (1880s), "About the Kremlin Walls Paintings" (1893), "Kremlin Walls" (1893), "The brilliant robber. (About Ge's Painting "The Crucifixion")" (1894), "Moscow Rumyantsev's Museum by the Kremlin and the Monument to the Founder of this Museum in the Kremlin" (1898) and other works. The article considers N.F. Fyodorov's analysis of paintings by A.A. Ivanov, N.N. Ge, V.V. Vereschagin, and I.E. Repin. The comparative investigation of the aesthetic program and artistic ideas of Ivanov and Fyodorov is based on the analysis of the painting "The Apparition of Christ before the People" (1858). The article traces the influence of the artist's works on the conceptual and compositional creation of the "pictorial demonstration" of Fyodorov's aesthetic supramoralism. It uncovers the specificity of the philosopher's religious-philosophical discourse, defined by the iconographic traditions and imaginary system of Christian art. The analysis of Fyodorov's texts dedicated to the paintings by Ge and Repin, reveals that he does not accept the aesthetic program of realism. The article defines the meaning of projective ecphrasis in Fyodorov's critical account of Ge's "Biblical cycle" as a theurgical project. The reception of Vereschagin's painting is considered in the context of the historiosophical ideas of Fyodorov, based on the principles of Christian eschatology.
The article analyzes the ways to show authority in the culture. Examines visualizations and her rhetoric. Given the symbolic power, the authors consider the existence of it as a principle or a function that someone does. Power is not only recognition of the position of the slave, but sopredelâetsâ through the frustration. This approach allows you to issue a protest of consciousness.
This article deals with the problem of an important social turn in the relationship between politics and art in the contemporary situation. In the postmodern sense, the relation between politics and art is assumed as performance or, in other words, as the representation of art and politics in the realm of cultural discourses and figures. The relations between art and politics in the contemporary sense may be assumed in terms of this triple definition, as: the transfer of politics into art, as the spectacularization of politics through art, and as a potential field of intervening critical, subversive practices in the global-transitional social processes of performing forms of life in the realm of expansive neoliberal capitalism and its global crisis.Key words: relations of politics and art, social turn, cultural discourses, forms of life, cultural practices, representations of art and politics, transfer of politics into art, spectacularization of politics, global-transitional processes, neoliberal capitalism, global crisis , critical practices.
