Description: This session presents our case study research into the introduction of digital practice assessment for 500 2nd year student nurses. It outlines practical examples on how blockades to introduction within the community of practice were overcome and how learning analytics are used to enable absolute governance of work-based assessment. Currency: Within the United Kingdom, like the USA, there is a crisis, a national shortage of nurses. In the UK, this has led to new routes of entry, including work-based pathways partly driven by a Government employer levy to fund apprenticeships, creating a need for innovative solutions for work-based assessment. Why does this content matter?: Anglia Ruskin University is the largest provider of healthcare education in the East of England – with 3 campuses each 50 miles apart. To reduce attrition it is essential be able to track students' progress in practice, ensure that formative and summative assessments are completed on time and provide timely support. Relevance: Leading digital change is hard. This session will outline how putting the users first and technology at the heart can create better, more sustainable, work-based assessment and improve student success.

Based on the framework devised by Korostelina, the purpose of the study is to explore the typology of insults used in the positioning of multiple others by Irish Facebook users in response to Irish Independent newspaper articles concerning the 2016 refugee crisis in Europe. While the main focus rests on positioning the voiceless refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants, the study also illuminates how those with voices deploy insults to position each other. The study concludes that insults are deployed differentially both quantitatively and qualitatively depending on whether the recipient has a voice. In the online domain, the voiceless are subject to a greater number and range of insults.

Abstract
This paper investigates the occurrence and nature of barriers to social inclusion in distinct geographical settings. Utilising a unique administrative dataset from Ireland's dominant social inclusion programme, this study examines how location impacts the occurrence of these barriersat a small-area level. Ireland's high growth rates have raised concerns about uneven effects, making it an interesting case study for 'left behind' places. The findings reveal that barriers associated with social inclusion, related to economic participation, are more prevalent in 'independent urban towns' compared to both more urban and more rural areas, over and above area-level deprivation. This implies that existing policies, which traditionally employs a simplistic urban/rural dichotomy, lacks effective targeting, and would benefit from adopting a more precise spatial perspective.
