Right to Information (RTI) Act emerged as a powerful instrument for taming corruption in the functioning of public authorities by promoting transparency and accountability. The Act has completed ten years but the challenges hindering the successful implementation of the Act are still looming large. The Act is slowly moving away from its goal owing to many factors, such as lack of awareness, improper maintenance of records, poor compliance to public disclosure of information mentioned under Section 4 of the Act, inconvenient fee depositing mechanism, lack of sustained training mechanism for employees, misuse of the Act, pendency of appeals before Information Commissions and lack of legislative measures for protection of whistleblowers. For making the Act a success, it is essential to conduct massive awareness campaigns for citizens, to maintain proper official records for facilitating provision of information under the Act, ensuring suo motu disclosure of information mentioned under Section 4 of the Act, use of information and communication technology in the implementation of the Act, making available convenient fee depositing options, conducting training programmes for officials involved in the implementation of the Act, and, finally, enacting a strong whistleblowers' protection Act.

This historical paper explores the role of one of the indigenous educational movement of the British Indian North West Frontier Province, now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. The movement 'Anjuman-i-islahul Afaghina' established in 1921 by Abdul Ghaffar Khan also known as Bacha Khan (1890- 1988) and his companions to educate the unprivileged Pakhtuns in the early decades of the 20th century. The Anjuman established 104 Azad schools in the settled as well as tribal territory to educate the nation in formal way, besides education and training was imparted through non formal mode, as well. The strength of the Anjuman was its organizational excellence in the shape of its components like propagation, fund raising, management committees, faculty of intellectuals, co-curricular activities, annual jamborees, conflict resolution committees, literary activities and social reformation. No doubt, the movement contributed to educate the unprivileged Pakhtun nation in ensuring the quantity as well quality of education.

In previous election of a country for its democratic elections in which social media was targeted as a way to convince the social media users to attract their votes, an analysis of BigData on these elections tweets is performed to gather some interesting information. The parties which have been active on social media during elections were identified through hashtag and keyword frequency of occurrences; the top twitter users who influenced the public in election's were identified by identifying the most re tweeted tweets and finally a comprehensive sentiment analysis were done on the big data set to check "Election trolling" where opposition parties insult and attack each other to get an idea of the political maturity of a country twitter users, with a high percentage negative sentiments it was deduced that people of that country lack political maturity.

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a very important research area in the field of information and network security. In this paper, we discuss, analyze and evaluate some of the classifiers based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) which are used to detect and classify networks attacks for an intrusion detection system. We will use WEKA (A machine learning tool) software for testing and evaluating the performance of the classifiers on a well-known famous IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) dataset "NSL-KDD" dataset. The NSL-KDD dataset contains sufficient amount of network attacks and it was developed in a military network by MIT Lincoln Labs. Once we got the individual results of all the classifiers then we will compare their performance on the basis of some performance parameters. We also used discretize filter to enhance the overall performance of the classifiers

Objective: To assess the status of health services and environment in the public and private schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted at Islamabad Medical and Dental College, Islamabad from April to September 2017. A survey was done in the schools of Rawalpindi and Islamabad through a questionnaire, distributed to the school heads and/or administrators. The study outcome was measured in terms of status of school health services and health environment. Out of the total list of government, private and semi government schools the number for visit and interview was selected systematically. Data was entered and analyzed by using SPSS 20 version. Results: Overall 60.1% schools had a health team. Health teams were found in 47.6% of government, 58.3% of private and 80.0% of semi government schools. Only 42.4% had received any health-related training for students or personnel in the schools, 28.3% schools had presence of doctor while 30.9% had a nurse. Safe drinking water and adequate washroom facility was available in majority of schools along with playing area and proper lighting and ventilation condition. Conclusion: School health services are very poor at the schools in Rawalpindi and Islamabad region. There is lack of health training for students and staff with only 42.4% getting it.
