The author examines the inter-connections of subjects and motives in ten poems which Solovyov wrote in the second half of the 1890s. The method of motive analysis shows that those works bear the mark of a verse unity making an uncompleted cycle. It appears that Solovyov's poems during that period can be related not only to his aesthetic and philosophical works but also to the lyrical pieces of earlier poets. Thus, it is shown that ten poems belong to the tradition of A.A. Fet, K.K. Sluchevsky, A.N. Maykov, V.A. Zhukovsky and Ya.P. Polonsky. It is suggested to call this uncompleted cycle "Poetry as theurgy". A brief review is proposed of the aesthetic and philosophical ideas which are important to understand the general theme canvass of the cycle. The common theme and cross-cutting motives of twelve poems forming that cycle are defined. It is suggested to consider that the lyrical mystery theme is common to all the poems of that cycle. It is shown that the prophetic motive and images/symbols of nature and of the poet as prophet can be traced throughout the whole of the cycle. The conclusion is that Solovyov has created a series of poems which, through their themes and motives, prolong and complete each other, thus offering an uncompleted cycle of poetry as theurgy. From the point of view of its structure and content, that cycle is typical of the literary epoch when it was composed, being a continuation of the classical tradition while at the same time creating a new tradition, that of the symbolists.

The article examines the influence of V.S. Solovyov on the writers and poets of the Silver age. On the material of the works of Solovyov, related to the «сhinese theme»: the articles «Russia and Europe», «China and Europe», «Japan», «The enemy from the East»; the review of the first volume of works by E.E. Ukhtomsky; the poems «Panmongolizm» and «Dragon»;the tractate «The three conversations about war, progress and the end of world history»; the letter «About the recent events», – is evaluated his influence on D.S. Merezhkovsky's articles: «Yellow-faced positivists», «The coming ham», V.I. Ivanov's articles «Russia, England and Asia», «Inspiration of horror», V.M. Doroshevich's story «Goddess», V.V. Veresaev's story «Under the cedars»; «Chinese poems» and the articles of V.J. Bryusov. The political context of the works, the tradition of depicting China in Russian literature, literary and sinological works on this topic are taken into account. The comparative analysis of texts, the coincidence of a number of theoretical positions, and separate definitions and epithets are revealed. The numbers of Solovyov's positions are revealed, which are reflected in the works of Merezhkovsky and Ivanov: materialism and positivism of the Chinese, the «emptiness» of their philosophy, the denial of life and progress, the «yellow danger», the need for the Christianization of China (the last position in Merezhkovsky is not). Doroshevich's story, written at the height of the ikhetuan rebellion («boxer rebellion»), was influenced by the philosopher's eschatological prophecies. The negative image of China in the poetry of V.J. Bryusov is the textual confirmation of the influence of Solovyov, noted by modern literary criticism.

In the study is to analyze the current systemic problems of world finance, including the dominant changes in the architecture of world finance, the expansion of the role of central banks and states in general in the regulation of the global financial market. Structural and historical analysis methods are used in the course of the study. The paradigm of the transition from the financialization of the world economy to its definancialization is determined, in connection with which the necessity of state regulation of national financial markets and cross-border movements of capital between developed and developing countries is justified. The factors and the historical evolution of the financialization of the economy have been investigated, the main consequences of financialization for the national financial markets and the global economy are identified. The destructive impact of the level of financial depth of the economy on the world economy as a whole has been proved. The need to develop national and supranational measures to regulate financial markets is justified, with the allocation of structural, institutional and monetary and financial conditions for their implementation in practice, including optimization of adoption mechanisms strategic decisions and planning, methods and tools aimed at expanding state supervision and regulation of financial markets and generally definancing the global economy and developing its real sector.

Media coverage analysis of the four most important federal laws is carried out. These legislative initiatives - "The law on the protection of children", "Lugovoi's law", "Russian SOPA" and the "Blogger law" regulate legal relations in the Russian segment of the Internet. The research shows that Russian and foreign media reaction to these laws is sharply negative and quite similar. The author assumes that there are various reasons for this assessment. The Russian media see these laws as the violation of fundamental freedoms of speech and expression and regard them as the tool of censorship and suppression of opposition. The situation is quite natural, because the legal field of Internet regulation in Russia is now at the initial stage and legislators sometimes react too rigidly to the rapidly changing reality and growing influence of the virtual space, while foreign media direct their criticism primaryly to the Russian political regime, using it as the tool of information warfare and pressure on the world public opinion.

The article examines some aspects of contemporary English-speaking media space in the context of virtual reality (VR). The emergence of such media platform as VR headsets has led to new forms of delivering news and formation of immersive journalism. The purpose of the article is to examine the benefits of virtual technologies and their contribution to user involvement in narrative. Also to study the most relevant and prospective news stories for such new media space. And to scrutinize the potential problems journalists encounter during their work in virtual reality. The New York Times and The Guardian are one of the first major media brands to put in practice VR and 360 videos as a new storytelling platform. The vast majority of news stories are not suited for VR. It should be used to amplify stories that are suited to its strong point - putting a viewer in the scene. Places that are hard to get to or where people are scarcely likely to travel or where turning head side-toside is indispensable. There is no point in using spherical video if all the action is front and centre as it occurs in political debate. The benefit of shooting events in virtual reality is that it allows audience to rediscover new elements each time they watch it that they may have put out of account before. One potential future area could be to capture historical events so that we can do comprehensive analysis in the future tense. VR presents opportunities, but also brings up serious ethical dilemmas about representation, privacy, intellectual property and media effects. VR journalists may manipulate the viewer by designing virtual worlds for specific deliberate outcome. The second issue is cost and complexity of producing VR media. The post-production step for stitching is incredibly time-consuming and laborious. The slowest step in the spherical-video workflow is stitching together the files from multiple cameras. Virtual reality has the potential to reinforce storytelling by offering the audience experience and environment that are out of reach in terms of location: life in a refugee camp or in Fukushima after a devastating earthquake and tsunami caused a meltdown at a nuclear power plant, or travelling to Paris after the terrorist attacks that occurred on Friday 13 November 2015. But we have to draw attention to the other side of new digital technologies when users perceive virtual objects as authentic physical space, which leads to false impressions and memories. It is also worth mentioning that virtual reality project is not a separate single story, but a part of complex narratives that are conveyed across multiple platforms which can be classified as transmedia storytelling.
