"This book argues that moral rights provisions in copyright law rest on a misunderstanding, or romanticization, of the role of the author. The romantic conception of authorship, as a lone genius, creating from nothing, sensitive and vulnerable, has helped publishers push for strong copyright reform. But is this conception borne out in practice - especially in a world of meme culture, of artificial intelligence generated art and poetry, and of open source and fan fiction? This book probes the romantic vignette of the author through its legal adoption. Moral rights are rights that attach to the non-economic - for example, intellectual or emotional - interests of an author in their work. Much like defamation, moral rights see the right of reputation as superior to the right of freedom of expression. However, unlike defamation, moral rights are not protecting against defamatory actions against a person. In most jurisdictions, they are provisions set within copyright regimes; regimes whose purpose is to incentivize innovation. Challenging the way we think about authorship and how it should be protected by law, the book draws on a wide range of historical and contemporary examples to demonstrate how moral rights can constitute a barrier to transformative creativity. While authors and artists require strong rights to protect their ability to earn an income and incentivise creativity, moral rights, the book argues, may in turn actually harm their ability to do so. This timely criticism of moral rights will appeal to researchers, students, policy makers and lawyers working in the area of intellectual property law, as well as legal theorists, sociolegal scholars and legal historians with relevant interests"--

In this article, the author examines Oswald Spengler's concept of Prussian socialism. In the first part of the work, Spengler is presented as a political writer, and his political thought is connected with his philosophical ideas. As a political writer, Spengler belonged to the stream of conservative revolution. In the second part, the author tries to emphasize the difference between this current of conservative thought and liberal conservatism, pointing out that the roots of Spengler's understanding of socialism lie in the older conservative criticism of the market. In the last part, the author considers Spengler's conservative understanding of socialism, its influence on the German conservative revolution, and its importance in today's times.

The corpus of political science problems related to the development, security, and sovereignty of the state, which stimulates the increased interest of both government structures and representatives of the scientific community, also includes a new concept of 'food miles.' The deconstruction method and comparative analysis applied by the author showed that the semantic foundation of the terminological unit under consideration is based on the neorealist paradigm of international relations. The author seeks not only to highlight the epistemological gaps of the concept, but also to convert them into competitive advantages, thus contributing to the discourse related to the construction of 'improved food miles.' In the empirical part of the research, the author chose the agricultural policy of the Moscow region as an example, in particular, fixing the low food self-sufficiency of the region, compensated both by the intra-national commodity movement and the import of basic foodstuffs. For the first time, the dependence on the intensive import of foreign food products into the subject of the Russian Federation was compared with the degree of environmental damage identified using mathematical methods. The author concludes that the concept of 'food miles,' having replenished the categorical and conceptual apparatus of political science and the theory of international relations, can be used as a mechanism of 'green protectionism,' activating the protection of national interests and stimulating the diversification of domestic agroecological production. As a recommendation to state bodies, the author offers a plan of amendments to legislative acts, as well as a graphic project of ecological labeling of food products.

The purpose of the analysis described in the text was to identify the characteristic features of the infodemic as a phenomenon on the example of the infodemic accompanying the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. The author began with the definition developed by the World Health Organization in 2018, and traced the earliest scientific studies describing the phenomenon. Then, based on results of the examination of the studies and experts' comments relating to the COVID-19 infodemic, the author described the main features of infodemic and their indicators. As a result of the investigation, the author decided to add four additional features to the initial infodemic characteristics. This is a new approach to the topic: the scientific literature on the does not contain such detailed characteristics of infodemic and focuses rather on selected phenomena associated with it.

The author analyzes forms of implementation of the principle of gender quotas in the formation of representative public authorities that have become quite widespread today. The author questions the effectiveness of this principle, in which holding a public authority is carried out not on an experience, qualifications and competence, but only on a gender. No less controversial seems to be mechanisms of state support for the operation of the considered principle.

Abstract
887The paper presents the issue of openness and reliability of business registers maintained by the Member States of the European Union on the basis of acts that implement EU directives. The first part of the article presents the historical evolution of the provisions of EU law, while the second part focuses on the assessment of regulations currently in force. On this basis, in the third part of the article, the author carries out an analysis of how EU regulations are implemented in national laws in the context of openness and reliability of registers, with a particular focus on Polish law and references to the implementation methods adopted in other selected Member States. Based on this comparative analysis, the author ultimately comes to the conclusion that the general direction adopted in EU law is correct, but Polish domestic law is burdened with flaws, indicating low efficiency of implementation of EU law. Thus, the author makes suggestions as to the possible directions of development of domestic law, and to some extent also in relation to EU law.

In the article, the author hypothesizes that modern domestic constitutional practice indicates the beginning of the process of institution the value of Russian citizenship. In substantiation of the proposed position, the author analyzes the facts of domestic constitutional practice, which indicate the relevant process, the ultimate goal of which is to make Russian citizenship promising, responsible, and its very existence a value. The author argues that the corresponding process is beneficial to the modern Russian state, since, on the one hand, the perception of Russian citizenship as a value by foreign citizens and stateless persons will lead not only to an increase in the legal population of the country, but also to an increase in its quality (subjective responsibility, education, qualifications, etc.). On the other hand, the perception of Russian citizenship as a value by the citizens of the Russian Federation proper will lead not only to minimizing cases of renunciation of citizenship, but also through the rejection of offending behavior will contribute to strengthening the rule of law, as well as increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of state policy.
