«Senza fare come in Russia». Reduci e socialisti in Sardegna nel biennio 1919-1920
International audience ; In 1919-1920 social unrest in Sardinia took place in a political context marked by the hegemony of WWI veterans movement, which had a mass affirmation in rural areas and became the Sardinian Action Party in 1921. On the other hand, the influence of Sardinian Socialists was limited to the mining and industrial districts of the island, Iglesiente and Gallura. On the island, Trade Unions were more relevant than the party, and this helped Sardinian socialism to remain Reformist. Historians have paid particular attention to the formation of Sardinian autonomism, the birth of Fascism and the relations between the two movements, while the analysis of the Red Biennium and the relations between the workers' movement and the emerging Sardinian autonomism remained less explored. This article aims to analyze such a relationship to explain both the lack of effectiveness of Socialist propaganda in Sardinian rural areas and the failure of WWI veterans in mobilizing urban working classes. In the Sardinian context, the combatants represented the first political force able of mobilizing rural masses, with the aim of transforming the island-continent relationship. An argument that, in a context characterized by insularity and a limited diffusion of the labor movement, proved to be more attractive than class struggle. ; Le agitazioni sociali in Sardegna, nel biennio 1919-1920, avvengono in un contesto politico marcato dall'egemonia del movimento dei reduci, che ha un'affermazione di massa nelle campagne, e si organizza in Partito sardo d'azione dal 1921. I socialisti sardi hanno invece un'influenza circoscritta geograficamente, nelle regioni minerarie e industriali dell'isola, l'Iglesiente e la Gallura.
