Også i Latinamerika ser man en tendens i retning af, at der kommer flere lokale medier til, samtidig med at kommunikationssystemerne internati- onaliseres. Cicilia M. Krohling Peruzzo beskæftiger sig her med et cen- tralt tema i den latinamerikanske mediediskussion, nemlig borgerrettig- heder - og mediernes betydning i den forbindelse. Hun argumenterer for de lokale mediers store kulturelle og politiske betydning i Latinamerika, hvor de fungererer som kanal for folkelig deltagelse. I denne artikel ana- lyserer hun betingelserne for lokal deltagelse i kommunikation i lokalsam- fundene med eksempler fra to lokale radioprojekter, hvor det i forskellig grad er lykkedes at aktivere den lokale befolkning og inddrage den i pro- duktion, beslutninger og planlægning omkring radioerne. Echo chambers, fake news, filter bubbles and algorithms have been framed as great threats to our contemporary democracies and public spheres. In the Nordic countries, the state plays an active role in sustaining democracy and the public sphere through culture- and knowledge policies. The Norwegian Government have over the last years presented a white paper on overall cultural policy and a library strategy document. Both documents address the effects of digital technology on democracy, and how culture institutions in general and libraries in particular can help sustain our democracies in changing times. In this article, we study these and preceding documents on culture- and library policies. We analyze how they address digital technology and how they see culture- and library policies as providing solutions to digital threats to democracy and the public sphere. Furthermore, we study what notion of democracy and the public sphere are prevalent in Norwegian cultural policies. The results show that the Government view culture as a remedy against a fragmented public sphere, and that libraries play a key role as providers of digital guidance and teaching.

Artiklen identificerer og diskuterer den kraftige inspiration fra hegeliansk tænkning, der i forskellige varianter kom til udtryk hos A.F. Tscherning, J.N. Madvig, D.G. Monrad og Orla Lehmann – fire af de vigtigste skikkelser i dansk politik omkring 1848. Nygaard demonstrerer, at hegelianismen på dansk grund ikke blot gjorde sig gældende i de mere velkendte teologiske og filosofiske sammenhænge med folk som Johan Ludvig Heiberg og Hans L. Martensen og anti-hegelianeren Søren Kierkegaard i centrum, men også havde stor betydning i tidens politiske og samfundsteoretiske tænkning. Nygaards artikel understreger dermed nødvendigheden af at se hegelianismen som et bredt åndshistorisk fænomen, der på afgørende vis satte sit præg på den danske politiske kultur i første halvdel af det 19. århundrede.

I dette essay tager Richard Collins kritisk fat omkring en ef det europæ- iske samarbejdes nælder: kulturen. I de sidste 10-15 år har integrations- bestræbelserne i EU været præget af en nationalistisk forestilling om snæver sammenhæng mellem kultur og politik: For at skabe et politisk- økonomisk samarbejde i Europa må der derfor udvikles en fælles euro- pæisk kultur, siger fortalerne. Ikke mindst på baggrund af erfaringer med pan-europæiske medieprojekter påpeger Richard Collins, at europæernes kultur og mediebrug er mere forskellige end de integrationsivrige bryder sig om. I stedet peger han på en række andre teoretiske bidrag fra bl.a. Habermas og funktionalismen, der i stedet understreger, at europæisk samarbejde kan ske på tværs af kulturforskelle.

This paper explores the development of the United States from the colonial period to the present, with a particular emphasis on its reputation as the land of opportunity and global superpower. The bright side of America based on the promises of the founding principles and basic traditional values has been the source of unsurpassed national pride and admiration by much of the world. However, the dark side of America has dimmed the beacon of democracy which has been overshadowed by instances of inequality of opportunity based on race, gender and other backgrounds, displacement, exclusion, discrimination, segregation, systemic racism, and mistreatment of its workers. The paper highlights particular events that belong to the tragic side of American history that have devalued the American creed in order to raise awareness to the fact that if America is to be truly great, it needs to rebuild its founding principles and honor its constitutional rights and responsibilities. This is illustrated in the poems "Let America be America Again" by Langston Hughes and the Inaugural Poem "The Hill We Climb" by Amanda Gorman. The selected works focus on America as a work in progress, a country that needs to rebuild and heal in order to achieve the American Dream and live up to its creed. Only then will America be a country of which its citizens can be proud and a role model for other cultures. Thus, to achieve the aspiration of a City upon a Hill, the United States needs to restore and reconstruct itself using the same founding principles to right the wrongs and eliminate anti-American sentiment.

Raymond Williams gør i denne artikel op med den teknologiske deter- minisme som præger kulturdebatten, samtidig med at han forholder sig stærkt kritisk til såvel kommercialiseringen af medierne som til public service stationernes programpolitik.

U ovom su radu analizirani stavovi srednjoškolaca prema selektiranim demokratskim vrijednostima, odnos između shvaćanja i sociodemografskih obilježja učenika srednjih škola te su uspoređena gledišta učenika, njihovih roditelja i profesora. Korišteni su podaci prikupljeni 1993. i 1998. godine u sklopu projekata "Genealogija i transfer modela interkulturalizma" i "Školski kurikulum i obilježja hrvatske nacionalne kulture". Analiza rezultata pokazala je da je 1998. godine došlo do znatnih promjena u stavovima srednjoškolaca prema demokratskim vrijednostima u odnosu prema prijašnjem istraživanju. Promjene se očituju u statistički značajno manjem stupnju prihvaćanja vrijednosti, i to prema sedamnaest, od ponuđenih devetnaest vrijednosti. Nadalje, u oba je istraživanja utvrđeno da varijable socioobrazovnog statusa znatno distingviraju ispitanike s obzirom na njihove stavove. Učenici s boljim uspjehom u školi, polaznici gimnazija i oni s višim obrazovnim aspiracijama i podrijetlom imaju pozitivniji odnos prema demokratskim vrijednostima. Velike su razlike utvrđene s obzirom na stupanj prihvaćanja vrijednosti između učenika, roditelja i profesora. Općenito, najveće slaganje sa svim ponuđenim vrijednostima iskazuju profesori, a najmanje učenici. ; This article analyses the attitudes of high school students towards selected democratic values and the relation between attitudes and socio-demographic characteristics, and compares the attitudes of students, their parents and teachers. The data were obtained during 1993 and 1998 within projects "Genealogy and transfer of models of interculturalism" and "School curriculum and characteristics of Croatian national culture". The analysis of the results showed the significant changes in students' attitudes towards democratic values in 1998 in comparison with the previous study. The changes are revealed through statistically significant lower degree of acceptance of 17 out of 19 suggested values. Furthermore, both studies showed that the variables of socio-educational status distinguish the subjects significantly in regard to their attitudes. Students with higher educational achievement, those attending the academic high schools and those with higher educational aspirations have more positive attitude towards democratic values. The significant differences were also found in the degree of acceptance of those values among students, parents and teachers. Generally, teachers showed the highest acceptance of all suggested values, while students showed the lowest. ; In dieser Arbeit werden Einstellungen der Mittelschüler zu den ausgewählten demokratischen Werten sowie das Verhältnis zwischen den Einstellungen und sozio-demographischen Merkmalen der befragten Mittelschüler analysiert und mit den Einstellungen ihrer Eltern und Lehrer verglichen. Die benutzten Daten wurden 1993 und 1998 im Rahmen von Projekten "Genealogie und Transfer des Interkulturalismusmodells" bzw. "Schulkurrikulum und Merkmale der kroatischen Nationalkultur" erhoben. Die Analyse der Ergebnisse zeigte, dass 1998 im Vergleich zu den früheren Untersuchungen zu bedeutenden Änderungen in den Einstellungen der Mittelschüler zu den demokratischen Werten gekommen ist. Diese Änderungen äußern sich in dem statistisch bedeutend geringeren Akzeptieren der vorgeschlagenen Werte, und zwar bei den siebzehn von neunzehn angeführten Werten. Weiterhin wurde in den beiden Untersuchungen festgestellt, dass sich die Befragten durch Variabeln ihrer sozialen Merkmale und ihrer Schulausbildung im Hinblick auf ihre Einstellungen gravierend unterscheiden. Schüler mit besseren Schulleistungen, Gymnasiasten sowie jene mit höheren Bildungsaspirationen und Herkunft haben eine positivere Stellung zu den demokratischen Werten. Bedeutende Abweichungen ergeben sich auch hinsichtlich der Akzeptanz der genannten Werte unter den Schülern, deren Eltern und Lehrern. Insgesamt finden die angebotenen Werte die höchste Zustimmung unter den befragten Lehrern, und die kleinste unter den Schülern.

By comparative analysis of Swedish cultural policy (including art policy, heritage policy and Church policy) during the Riksdag periods of 1970-73, 1991-94, 1994-98 and 1998-2002 the relationship between cultural policy and the concept of the nation as a homogenous cultural community (defined by either an ethnic or a state-framed concept) is explored. Neoinstitutional analysis of cultural policy as an organisational field is combined with analysis of how the nation is conceived as an imagined community, and what values it strives to uphold to show how these values and concepts are institutionalised in its cultural policy and how this supports the legitimacy of the State as a nation-state. In the early seventies, when a general cultural policy was first established in Sweden, most of its fields were already institutionalised and bound by strong path dependencies, binding art policy to protecting universal aesthetic values within the state-framed nation and heritage policy to ethnic particularism while Church policy stood between universalism and ethnic particularism (which infected the relationship between Church and State). These contradictions were managed by strong borders between the fields. In the early seventies these were overlaid with a general cultural policy focused on universal civil values within the state-framed nation. Since then the conflict between Church and State has been defused and the norms of heritage policy have become closer to those of cultural policy at large by the claim that cultural heritage should be used to uphold civil values (e.g. democracy and tolerance). In the late nineties cultural policy has again become less integrated by new government initiatives with specific goals. Civil universal values remain dominant while concepts of the nation are increasingly multi-ethnic. ; Genom jämförande analys av svensk statlig kulturpolitik (inklusive konstpolitik, kulturarvspolitik och religionspolitik) under riksdagsperioderna 1970-73, 1991-94, 1994-98 and 1998-2002 undersöks relationen mellan kulturpolitiken och föreställningen om nationen som en homogen kulturell gemenskap som i vissa fall tänks inkludera dess innevånare och i andra fall en etnisk grupp. Nyinstitutionell analys av kulturpolitik som organisatoriskt fält kombineras med analys av hur nationen konceptualiseras som en föreställd gemenskap och vilka värderingar den upprätthåller för att visa hur dessa värden och koncept institutionaliseras i statens kulturpolitik och hur denna bidrar till att upprätthålla nationalstatens legitimitet. När en enhetlig kulturpolitik etablerades i Sverige i början av 1970-talet var de flesta av de ingående fälten redan låsta i sedan länge etablerade stigberoenden som band konstpolitiken till upprätthållandet av estetiska värden inom ramarna för en med utgångspunkt i staten definierad nation samtidigt som kulturarvspolitiken bundits vid etniskt partikularistiska nationskoncept och kyrkopolitiken slets mellan universalism och etnisk partikularism (vilket komplicerade kyrka-stat-relationen). Motsättningar hanterades genom kraftiga institutionella gränser mellan fälten. Till dessa fogades en övergripande kulturpolitik baserad på universella civila värden inom ramarna för den statsdefinierade nationen. Sedan dess har konflikten mellan kyrka och stat lösts upp och kulturarvspolitiken integrerats i den generella kulturpolitiken bl.a. genom organisatoriska reformer. I slutet av 1990-talet tycks trenden mot en allt mer integrerad kulturpolitik dock ha vänt bl.a. genom direkta men begränsade regeringsinitiativ. Den domineras fortfarande av universella civila värden, men också av alltmer mångetniska föreställningar om nationen.

Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na neprimjerenu kontrolu i nedostatna izvješća o tome što se događa (odnosno, ne događa) u tjelesnom odgoju diljem Europe te u prvi plan postavljaju potrebu za prikupljanjem što više kvalitetnih i usklabenih temeljnih podataka o svakoj zemlji. Postojeća izvješća, nažalost, daju iskrivljenu sliku o stanju tjelesnog odgoja u europskim školama. Nema sumnje da se mogu pronaći brojni primjeri dobre primjene kvalitetnih programa i kvalitetne prakse tjelesnog odgoja u većini europskih zemalja, ako ne i u svima, i bilo bi nedopustivo kada to ne bismo prepoznali i priznali. Jednako postoje i dokazi koji izazivaju snažan nemir zbog situacije, dok idealistička, i ponekad politički inspirirana, retorika može prikriti, i prikriva, pravo stanje stvari. Usprkos službenim dokumentima o nacelima, politici i proklamiranim ciljevima, njihova sudbina u praksi, u primjeni otkriva svu težinu situacije. Mnoge su se vlade posvetile tomu da donošenjem zakona i propisa osiguraju osnovu za funkcioniranje tjelesnog odgoja, no dokazi govore o tome da su u primjeni propisa u praksi ili prespore ili vrlo samozatajne, osobito na području kvalitete poučavanja u nastavi. Naročito su uočljivi propusti i nedostaci koji se odnose na: 1) programom predviđeni broj sati tjelesnog odgoja, 2) status predmeta unutar škole i u širem okruženju, 3) materijalne, kadrovske i financijske uvjete za rad, 4) probleme vezane za ravnopravnost spolova, 5) probleme vezane za ucenike s invaliditetom, 6) kvalitetu programa tjelesnog odgoja i 7) kvalitetu poučavanja, tj. na kvalitetu same izvedbe nastave. Naročito zabrinjava osobito loše stanje objekata i opreme za izvođenje nastave tjelesnog odgoja, koje je često praćeno i nedostatnim financijskim sredstvima za te potrebe, u većini srednjoeuropskih i istočnoeuropskih zemalja, ali i u nekim dijelovima južnoeuropskih zemalja (npr. jug Italije). Usporedno s uočenim sniženjem ugleda i položaja tjelesnog odgoja u školama i s upitnom kvalitetom nastave javlja se opća zabrinutost zbog znatnog pada funkcionalnih i motoričkih sposobnosti mladeži, kao i zbog nedopustivo visokog postotka odustajanja mladih ljudi od vježbanja ili sudjelovanja u sportskim aktivnostima. U previše europskih zemalja uloga tjelesnog odgoja se preusko i neopravdano svodi samo na pružanje prilike za stjecanje iskustva, što ucvršćuje natjecateljski pristup po kojemu je važan samo sportski uspjeh pa natjecateljski sportovi dolaze u prvi plan. Time se obezvređuje načelo sudjelovanja, a i horizonti i spoznaje o vrijednosti i važnosti tjelesne aktivnosti se ne proširuju, vec se sužuju. Ne treba onda čuditi da interes učenika za tjelesni odgoj opada iz godine u godinu te da mladi postaju fizički sve manje aktivni. Trend smanjenja mogućnosti za svakodnevni tjelesni odgoj u školama, udružen s trendom kontinuiranog opadanja fizičke aktivnosti mladih u roditeljskom domu ili u široj zajednici, naročito u tzv. razvijenom svijetu, pridonosi razvoju sedentarnog (sjedilačkog) načina života koji se nastavlja i u odrasloj dobi i kroz cijeli život. Vrlo vjerojatno danas u Europi više mladih pati od kroničnog istegnuća zapešća ("kompju- torsko zapešce" od "mouse wrist"; miš je dio racunalne opreme, op.prev.) nego od "teniskog lakta" ili "nogometnog koljena". Danas je potreba za promidžbom zdravog i aktivnog stila života među djecom i mladima ogromna, a postaje sve veća. U mnogim je zemljama sve više mladih izloženo pogubnim utjecajima sve raznolikijih socijalno neprihvatljivih oblika ponašanja i delinkvencije koji dovode u opasnost njihovo zdravlje, pa čak i život. Te su tvrdnje potkrijepljene rezultatima istraživanja koji govore ne samo o sniženim razinama tjelesne aktivnosti, o povećanom postotku pretilih osoba u populaciji ili o povecanim zdravstvenim rizicima uzrokovanima sedentarnim nacinom života, nego i izvješćima o tome da mladi stvaraju lošu sliku o sebi, o nepravilnoj prehrani, obiteljskim problemima, stresu, velikom postotku odustajanja od tjelesne aktivnosti, povećanom nasilju među mladima, povećanom postotku pušača među mladima, kao i o povećanoj zloporabi alkohola i droga. Želi li tjelesni odgoj zadržati svoje mjesto u školskom programu među predmetima obvezatnog programa te promicati i ucvršćivati naviku fizičke aktivnosti kao temelja za sudjelovanje u sportu, tada se valja suočiti sa svim tim problemima. Ako važne druge (roditelje, učitelje i druge) u životu djeteta valja uvjeriti u važnost tjelesnog odgoja, tada će nam trebati sve postojeće političke vještine i argumenti u korist tjelesnog odgoja od lokalne preko nacionalne do međunarodne razine jer za postignuće cilja neće nam biti dovoljna samo predanost osnovnoj zadaci (promicanju tjelesnog odgoja) i primjena kvalitetnog nastavnog plana i programa. Valja utjecati na (lobirati) tvorce politike odgoja i obrazovanja, donositelje odluka, članove odbora i povjerenstava, upravitelje, kolege iz drugih predmeta i "korisnike" i uvjeriti ih u obrazovnu i odgojnu autenticnost tjelesnog odgoja. Uočene prijetnje školskom tjelesnom odgoju trebale bi zabrinuti i sve koji su na bilo koji način protagonisti uključenosti u sportske i cjeloživotne aktivnosti tjelesnog vježbanja. Nedostatak nužnih temelja, koji se mogu postaviti samo školskim programima tjelesnog odgoja, negativno će se odraziti i na sudjelovanje u sportskim aktivnostima. Naime, za ogromnu većinu mladih ljudi škole su glavno, a nerijetko i jedino, mjesto gdje mogu dobiti kvalitetnu poduku iz tjelesnih i sportskih aktivnosti. Stoga je logično pretpostaviti da bi tjelesni odgoj, u suradnji s ostalim konstituirajućim partnerima tjelesne aktivnosti, morao igrati zapaženu ulogu "od kolijevke pa do groba" u životu svakog pojedinca ne bi li se oblikovala "tjelesno obrazovana oso- ba". Škole posredstvom svojih programa tjelesnog odgoja mogu redovito utjecati na ogroman postotak današnje djece i mladeži koji ce sutra postati roditelji i grabani treće dobi. Škola je najvjerojatnije jedina institucija koja može pozitivno utjecati na stavove i ponašanje sve djece i mladeži bez obzira na spol, dob, sposobnost ili nesposobnost, etničku pripadnost, vjersku pripadnost, socio-ekonomski ili socio-kulturni status, i to zato što sva djeca moraju ići u školu. Nastava tjelesnog odgoja u školama vitalna je za sve aspekte normalnog rasta i razvoja (tjelesnog, socijalnog i emocionalnog) djece i mladeži. K tome, tjelesni odgoj stvara i prirodnu zaštitu organizma pred mnogobrojnim boles- tima uzrokovanima sedentarnim načinom života i oblikuje temeljne vještine i sposobnosti koje omogućuju sudjelovanje u sportskim aktivnostima tijekom čitava života. Promidžba ciljeva tjelesnog odgoja i sporta, kao i onih koji su odgovorni za provedbu programa, mora biti briga svih. Jer nije jednostavno preoblikovati tjelesni odgoj i sport u školama, to je velik izazov koji moramo prihvatiti da bismo poboljšali trenutačnu situaciju. Združeni, tjelesni odgoj i školski sport pridonijet će proširenju mogućnosti za bavljenje tjelesnom aktivnošću za sve kulturne i subkulturne skupine tijekom čitava života, kao i u svim institucijskim i širim društvenim zajednicama. To su izazovi koje ne smije ignorirati ni znanstvena zajednica i koji zavrebuju relevantna istraživanja. Na sreću, znanstvena su istraživanja posljednjih godina skinula neke "velove tajne" s procesa poučavanja i socijalizacije u raznim i brojnim kul- turološkim i mebukulturnim kontekstima. To su izazovi koje valja prihvatiti želimo li da se tjelesnom odgoju i sportu poklanja jednaka pažnja kao i drugim javnim strategijama i djelatnostima i koje utječu na populaciju u cjelini. Pravo na igru, tjelesni odgoj i sudjelovanje u sportu možda i nije najvažniji svjetski problem, usporedi li se s gladi, siromaštvom, bolestima, nepismenošću i terorizmom. No ono se, u najmanju ruku, može definirati kao osnovno ljudsko pravo.

Danske pendlere kører fortrinsvist i bil – også i store byer som København. Når rejsetiden er 20 minutter i bil var der blandt pendlere bosiddende i Hovedstaden godt 15 % cyklister, 35 % bilister og 15 % i offentlig transport. De resterende 35 % var enten til fods eller vekslede mellem forskellige transportmidler fra dag til dag. Tilsvarende ved 20 minutter var andelene blandt sjællændere godt 5 % cyklister, 55 % bilister og godt 5 % i offentlig transport. Region Nord- og Midtjylland havde begge 5 % på cykel, 75 % i bil og 5 % i offentlig transport. I Syddanmark sås ved 20 minutters rejsetid 10 % cyklister, 60 % i bil og 5 % i bus/tog. Beregningerne er baseret på data fra en spørgeskemaundersøgelse blandt 2235 pendlere. Vi estimerede elasticitet i transportmiddelvalget med hensyn til rejsetid i bil. Rejsetiderne blev beregnet ved brug af Google Maps Distance Matrix. Pendlerne var alle i beskæftigelse, 18-65 år og med samme fordeling af køn, alder, geografi og uddannelse, som den danske baggrundsbefolkning. Desuden præsenteres en typologi afpendlere, der indeholder 4 overordnede grupperinger. "Bilister uden klare holdninger" (32 %), "grønne pendlere i storbyen" (30 %), "bilister der bor uden for de store byer" (23 %) og endelig "anti-grønne bilister" (15 %). Denne opdeling i pendler-grupperinger indeholdt overraskende få holdninger og kultur.

Due to effects of a continuous globalization processes, fierce competition, and rapid evolution of technological innovations, the business world is facing multiple challenges going through ever increasing changes in terms of technological, political, social and economic determinants. The nature, speed and quantity of those changes require an effective and timely management of organizations in order to achieve their strategic business objectives and attain superior organizational performance. Therefore it is important to recognize problems and challenges and shape a strategy to keep and maintain organizational success. Such a development has contributed to the significance and wide use of Management Consulting in the economy. The engagement of consultants in as early stage as possible can help companies to successfully cope with the problems encountered and thus protect their investments. The primary focus of this study is to explore how Croatian and Hungarian Management Consulting industries have changed in last decade identifying possible similarities and differences in terms of market and organisational culture in each country. Based on secondary research sources, evolution of administering survey to consultants and micro, small and medium sized enterprises in Croatia and Hungary, this study outlines position and development trends in management consulting exploring following questions: (a) what are differences between two management consultancy's markets?; (b) what are similarities in both markets?; (c) why do companies use management consultancies?; (d) what are major demand factors for business advisory services? In that sense, a comprehensive assessment of the maturity of the consulting market in Hungary and Croatia has been carried out, addressing the changes in consulting services and organisational culture in both countries. ; Zbog učinaka kontinuiranog procesa globalizacije, žestoke konkurencije i brzog razvoja tehnoloških inovacija, poslovni se svijet suočava s višestrukim izazovima prolazeći kroz sve veće promjene u smislu tehnoloških, političkih, društvenih i ekonomskih determinanata. Priroda, brzina i količina tih promjena zahtijevaju učinkovito i pravodobno upravljanje organizacijama kako bi ostvarivale svoje strateške poslovne ciljeve i postizale vrhunske organizacijske performanse. Stoga je važno prepoznati probleme i izazove te oblikovati strategiju za očuvanje i održavanje organizacijskog uspjeha. Takav razvoj je pridonio značenju i širokoj upotrebi menadžment konzaltinga u gospodarstvu. Angažman konzultanata u što ranijoj fazi može pomoći tvrtkama da se uspješno nose s problemima s kojima se sreću i time zaštite svoja ulaganja. Primarni fokus ove studije jest istražiti kako se u posljednjem desetljeću promijenila hrvatska i mađarska poslovna savjetodavna industrija identificirajući moguće sličnosti i razlike u smislu tržišne i organizacijske kulture u svakoj zemlji. Na temelju sekundarnih izvora istraživanja, evaluacije provedbe ankete među konzultantima i mikro, malim i srednjim poduzećima u Hrvatskoj i Mađarskoj, ova studija ukazuje na poziciju i razvojne trendove u menadžment savjetovanju istražujući sljedeća pitanja: (a) koje su razlike između dvaju konzultantskih tržišta; (b) koje su sličnosti na dvama tržištima; (c) zašto tvrtke koriste menadžment konzalting usluge; (d) koji su glavni faktori potražnje za poslovne savjetodavne usluge? U tom je smislu provedena sveobuhvatna procjena zrelosti tržišta konzalting usluga u Hrvatskoj i Mađarskoj, apostrofirajući promjene u konzultantskim uslugama i organizacijskoj kulturi u obje zemlje.

Becoming Danish/Christian and becoming Muslim are skills that may be acquired in the secularized school system. This study explores how social structure and the politics of identity and knowledge in relation to religion intertwine when recontextualized in the classroom of the Danish comprehensive school post 9-11. Through close readings of what takes place at a classroom level in two Copenhagen schools, Pedagogized Muslimness provides insights into how the Nordic model of comprehensive schooling – in the (post-)welfare state – plays out in daily school life and with what effects. The book provides a deeper understanding of how knowledge is produced in school, and how school operates as an arena for the production and distribution of social difference. The good pupil is the pupil that speaks of her/himself, acting as a subject, or who, by confirming the teacher's organizing of her/himself, accepts being made into an object upon which knowledge can be generated. Particularly overexposed are the pupils, whom the teachers identify as 'Muslim', something which draws on decades of casting this group of children as special objects of – as well as obstacles to – schooling. By the late 1970s and the early 1980s, the children of migrants came to be defined by their parents' relation to the labor market: as 'foreign workers' in often unskilled jobs, associated with rural life and 'traditional family patterns', and characterized by what was seen as their (lack of) language skills. In the course of several moral panics around 'Muslims' and 'Muslim children', this focus has translated into a knowledge formation of culture/religion. The book shows how school-produced Muslimness, in the pedagogized social economy of the classroom, becomes a parameter of social class, higher as well as lower.

Artiklen tager udgangspunkt i Arendts begreb om natalitet, der modsvarer Heideggers begreb om Geworfenheit eller kastethed på dansk. Nataliteten peger på fødselen som et kontingent faktum i det menneskelige vilkår, som artiklen med Arendt knytter til Privacy, der ikke bare betegner det private som modsætning til det offentlige og det politiske i klassisk forstand, men er et specifikt moderne fænomen, der betegner modsætningen til den sociale sfære. Som sfære for fødsel og død er privacy et helligsted for de mest intime menneskelige livsytringer, den er uigennemtrængelig for menneskelig viden, og dermed også en base for den modstandskraft mod den totalitarisme, der i det 20. århundrede forsøgte at ødelægge den. Med reference til historiske vendepunkter som 1944-45 og 1989 viser artiklen hvordan Arendts tænkning indfanger den måde, hvorpå privat vilje og samvittighed kan blive til offentlig handlen og magt, der gør en ny begyndelse mulig.
