Equidad de género en la Cooperación Internacional en Ciencia Tecnología e Innovación
Despite the efforts made by different countries to promote gender equality and implement institutional changes in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), this has not been reflected, as might be expected, in international cooperation dialogues in STI. From this perspective, the GENDER STI project addresses, in an innovative way, the complex problems associated with gender inequality in STI international cooperation. The GENDER STI project brings together a group of 16 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, including Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. GENDER STI adopts a human-centred problem-solving approach to investigate gender equality at different levels of international STI cooperation dialogues. In this way, it aims to make a significant impact on gender mainstreaming in bilateral and multilateral STI agreements.
