The problem of transformation of feminist ideologies, peculiarities of formation of gender discourse in postmodern culture, development of gender practices, peripheries of formation of gender system of Ukrainian society are the most urgent, but not all issues which are professionally, convincingly and interestingly considered by the authors of the monograph. Everyone who reads the text will be forced to conclude that the new principles of gender socialization formed in Western culture, which provoked a change in the gender order of postmodern societies, are now actively penetrating into our culture and establishing it, changing the traditional gender structure of Ukrainian society.
In this study, the use of gender-based approach to problem analysis of leadership provides the assess to the existing gender studies of political leadership. It turns out that traditional leadership as a socio-psychological phenomenon studied almost without gender, because leadership role first of all considered masculine. An analysis of gender studies of political leadership that appear from the mid-1970s is provided. As a result of the analysis of gender studies of political leadership statement that caused acute need to rethink multivariate pictures of globalized world and place of woman in it. Consequently the need for gender studies is increasing. ; В данном исследовании использование гендерного подхода к анализу проблем лидерства даѐт возмож- ность оценить существующие гендерные исследования политического лидерства. The article deals with the topical issue of personal and professional presentation of young women and men as subjects of their economic socialization. The analysis of the empirical research results of social and psychological determinants of young women and men economic self-presentation, as well as the results of a gender audit is done. A conceptual model of economic behavior of young people in the context of patriarchal / traditional and egalitarian / democratic coordinates is presented. The ambivalence of professional self-realization of young people, in particular, the orientation of girls to economic self-affirmation in the microeconomic environment, and boys - in the macro-society, as well as the commitment of both sexes to traditional gender stereotypes is revealed. The low level of material demands of women, including professional ones, is motivated by the socialized attitude to the financial supremacy of men. In psychological portraits of young men and women who present their professional potential, and hence the economic future, more similarities than differences are observed. Young women show a higher level of subjective general and personal locus of control in professional activities and psychological efforts to defend their beliefs.
У статті представлено огляд розвитку жіночого руху та жіночих і .тендерних студій в незалежній Україні у контексті зміни ставлення до поняття «фемінізм», яке було дискредитоване у радянський час. Виділено чотири основні етапи та охарактеризовано основні проблеми становлення феміністських студій (академічного фемінізму) у вітчизняній науці та вищій школі. Простежено поступове формування феміністського активізму - від матер- налістських і традиціоналістських жіночих організацій на початку 1990-х до радикальних жіночих груп анархістського спрямування. Висвітлено взаємодію жіночих організацій з органами влади та зусилля активісток з подолання сексизму в українській політиці на тлі змін українського законодавства у напрямку забезпечення тендерної рівності. ; This article represents an overview of the developments in the contemporary Ukrainian womens movement and in womens and gender studies from the perspective of changing public attitudes towards the notion of feminism which has been discredited in Soviet times. It identifies four stages and examines major issues in the process of institutionalizing of feminism and feminist research in the Ukrainian academia. The author traces the progress of feminist activism in Ukraine from mater- nalist and traditionalist women's initiatives in the early 1990s up to radical anarchist womens groups in the 2010s. Peculiarities of interactions between womens NGOs and state institutions are explored against the backdrop of changes in the Ukrainian legislation on gender equality.
Ukraine's Euro-civilization choice, which took place as a result of the Revolution of Dignity, posed a number of challenges to Ukrainian society, without adequate answers to which EU accession will remain a ratherdistant prospect for Ukrainians. One of such challenges is the genderization of the social life of Ukrainians, in particular in the field of education, which presupposes, first of all, the formation of a gender-sensitive space for the existence of the country's citizens; mass involvement of Ukrainian women in all spheres of society on an equal footing with men and the creation of equal opportunities for this. The philosophy of this process is to recognize as the greatest value of human capital, existing in the form of two social sexes (gender) - female and male - with different life experiences, differences and personal strategies of self-realization. The article analyzes, among other, the issue of teaching feminist and (or) gender issues in higher educational institutions of modern Ukraine from the standpoint of philosophical and worldview approach. The author aim is to investigate the real state of gender education in Ukrainian higher education institutions, to analyze the existing problems and identify prospects for the development of this process in Ukraine. A group of political science students from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was involved in an in-depth survey of the need / no need to teach feminist and gender issues in universities. It was concluded that exist the need of genderization higher education in Ukraine as an integral part of the Euro-integration process.
The current Constitution of Ukraine provides equal rights for men and women in all spheres of social life, but in reality the advantage remains on the side of men. One should only mention such spheres of life as family, politics and business (especially big business), where the representatives of the strong half of mankind play a dominant role in our time. Ago, the article analyzes the views of Ukrainian and scholarly other countries on the gender education of student youth as a socio-pedagogical problem, reveals the common and different in the methodology of gender pedagogy, mechanisms of implementation of the gender approach in the educational space. The author reveals the main strategies for the implementation of gender education of German youth, youth in the Great Britain and Ukraine, analyzes the gender orientation of vocational guidance work among the youth of certain countries, the peculiarities of the functioning and adoption of the principles of gender education inseparable from educational processes, raising the general gender culture of society, and deepening the gender competence of teachers through the internal ‑ and their externally raising their qualifications. The features of the gender education process in the German schools of different types and in schools of Great Britain, in particular in elementary and primary schools, are specified, implementation of the content, forms, methods and methods of gender education is specified; the peculiarities of the historical development of the educational system in Germany are determined, the ways of the formation of gender education of the student youth of Germany at the present stage, which is carried out through joint, separate and partly separate education, are specified. У статті розглянуті гендерні особливості зайнятості через порівняння можливостей чоловіків і жінок в отриманні місця роботи, доходів, освіти, кар'єрного зростання в інтересах визначення шляхів пом'якшення гендерної нерівності серед працюючих, вдосконалення регуляторної політики на ринку праці. Здійснено аналіз динаміки населення України за гендерною ознакою, ВВП, співставлень з макроекономічними характеристиками, властивими саме для України. Проаналізовано динаміку зайнятості населення України за гендерною ознакою впродовж 2010-2015 років. The gender studies are extremely important for many countries in terms of the present. The characteristics and dynamics of gender inequality in the context of socio-economic development of the country and its regions require deep study in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is a study of gender-sensitive employment opportunities through comparison of men and women in obtaining employment, income, education, career growth for identifying ways mitigate gender inequality among workers, improve regulatory policy in the labor market. The gender - a category that reflects social gender, due to social structure, that based on the biological differences between men and women. The ideal of gender equality means that women and men should have the same social status, the same conditions for the realization of all human rights, the same opportunities to contribute to national political, economic and social development and to use its results. Over the past two decades, Ukraine managed to achieve significant improvements in establishing key principles of legislative and institutional gender equality. The analysis of the dynamics of Ukraine's population by gender, GDP comparisons with macroeconomic characteristics typical for Ukraine was made by the authors. The employment dynamics of the Ukrainian population by gender was analyzed in the period 2010-2015. Besides the data on the distribution of civil servants, managers and specialists on gender were systematized and processed in the article. However, the introduction of gender equality in the daily lives of Ukrainian society is a complicated and lengthy process that should include objective assessment of the current state in this area, both at the state and regional level. The results of the analysis deepen scientific understanding of the existence of gender issues in employment Ukraine. These problems are to some extent limited employment opportunities for women, their prospects for career growth, income and social security (unlike men). Addressing gender inequalities requires economic changes in social policies, which include changes in labor and social legislation to strengthen social protection targeting the most vulnerable, regulatory measures in the area of wages, consistent support further development of women entrepreneurship and self-employment.

The functioning of the mechanism of public administration determines the need to establish the conceptual foundations of public policy, its strategic guidelines and directions for further development. There is no doubt about the social need for the humanization of consciousness, which is impossible without the introduction of the values of democracy and mutual respect in government.The relevance of modern gender research is due to the transformation of society, the emergence of new women's problems and the complication of existing ones, the need to understand the radical change in the position of women, strengthening and expanding the feminine principle in society.Thus, it is noticeable that in our time gender studies are especially relevant. All countries are faced with the task of developing a science-based policy on women. Without this, a realistic solution to many practical problems is impossible. Today, the women's issue is the focus of many social forces, it penetrates deeper into the consciousness of society and becomes a stimulus to social activity for both women and men.Recent research and publications analysis. At the present stage, Ukrainian researchers rely in their gender studies on the work of such Western authors as D. Butler, N.Khodorov, R. Bridotti, D. Dinerstein, D. Mitchell, E. Gross, K. Millet and S. de Beauvoir.In Russia, women's issues were developed by: A. Temkina, O. Zdravomyslova, O.Pushkareva.In Ukraine, the most famous are such researchers as I. Zherobkina, M. Alchuk, K.Karpenko, N. Chukhim and others.In Modern Ukraine, such researchers as Solomiya Pavlychko, Milena Rudnytska, Nila Zborovska, Maryana Rubchak and others have dealt with this issue.Highlighting previously unsettled parts of the general problem. Involving women in power and participating in politics (not just the right to vote) is the most important sign of a healthy democracy. Women's participation in politics is closing the gap that has so far prevented the formation of a truly democratic society and culture. And the parity of men and women in the adoption of state decisions is one of the prerequisites for democracy. Meanwhile, our women in positions of responsibility must constantly prove that they can act no worse than men, although at the same time they are forced to spend time caring for children and all housework.Paper main body. Realizing that humanity consists of two different but equal sexes, society must change its character in the public and private lives of men and women, because the worlds of public and private life are intertwined and interdependent. Now this balance is disturbed, women have en masse entered public life, but the organization of home life has not changed. This misunderstanding is based on the ancient tradition of neglecting the world of women and the unwillingness to bear some of the burden of women on the shoulders of men.Although scientific terminology is not yet fully established, so the words "gender" and "gender" and their derivatives are sometimes used interchangeably, their distinction is of fundamental importance. Gender is a natural physical phenomenon that allows for objective measurement. Gender is a historically, culturally determined category by which people group certain qualities, giving them a symbolic meaning.From all the above, the following worldview conclusions follow: the gender division of labor and norms of male and female behavior are not universal, but historically variable, they can and should be treated critically. The use of certain terms depends on the context. Thus, we see that the concept of "gender" means a complex socio-cultural process of society forming differences in male and female roles, behavior, mental and emotional characteristics, and the result itself - the social construct of gender.Modern gender theory does not try to deny the existence of certain biological, social, psychological differences between specific women and specific men. She argues that this fact of difference is not as important as her socio-cultural assessment, interpretation, and construction of a system of power based on these differences.Conclusions of the research and prospects for further studies. The Ukrainian intellectual space seeks to explore and use in socio-political practice the best achievements of world thought and civilization, among which a significant role belongs to gender studies, which are not losing popularity in the XXI century. acquiring new features and new meaning.Our state seeks to embody advanced democratic ideals, ensure the welfare of the people and the prosperity of the nation. And, as you know, a sign of culture and civilization of society is the attitude towards women, who in Ukraine are the majority of the population. Indeed, a democratic state cannot ignore the position and status of women in society, their right to self-affirmation in the private and public spheres, and the female voice in culture, politics, and society. The realities of today show the existence of serious problems in this area, and therefore the need for a thorough study of the situation of women in modern Ukraine.However, a significant part of Ukrainian society and even serious scholars are wary of feminist ideas, and sometimes hostile (as a danger to "real" women's interests, hatred of men or sexual dissatisfaction).It is feminism that offers a new alternative to women's choice, hard physical work or isolation in the private sphere and family responsibilities, and women need such an alternative not to make a choice without a choice, but to get all the opportunities of civilization. In this direction, feminism and gender studies are now humanizing the public consciousness.At the current stage of development of the civil service, it is necessary to develop mechanisms for implementing gender policy in the civil service, the formation and development of gender culture and gender education of civil servants of Ukraine. ; У статті проаналізовано фемінізм, гендерні дослідження та їх роль в українському суспільстві. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the work of an organizational psychologist with gender issues such as gender discrimination, sexism, gender and sexual harassment, and gender-based violence in the workplace.The analysis of directions of work of the organizational psychologist is given, namely:a) educational (providing information about gender discrimination, sexism, harassment and violence at work, psychological and legal assistance to their victims);b) research (conducting psychological researches with the aim of studying the reasons for the existence of gender problems in the workplace, peculiarities of their manifestation and consequences, and also developing the best technologies for overcoming these problems); c) advisory (key aspects of providing counseling services to victims of gender-based harassment and violence in the workplace);d) correctional (work aimed at gender re-socialization, overcoming negative consequences of gender discrimination at work, developing self-confidence, assertive communication skills);е) preventive (work aimed at detecting and eliminating victim characteristics of employees, their mastery of the procedure for opposing destructive influences). The general recommendations for solving gender issues in the interaction of the personnel of the organization are given. In particular, there are ways to counteract sexism; describes the algorithm of countering sexual harassment; tips are provided to overcome psychological violence in the workplace. The possibilities of legal assistance to victims of gender problems, which are enshrined in the Ukrainian legislation, are briefly described.The article focuses on the necessity of development of personality traits in personnel of the organization, their communicative competence and gender tolerance.The prospects for further research of the problem, which is considered in the article, are determined. ; У статті аналізуються особливості роботи організаційного психолога з такими гендерними проблемами, як гендерна дискримінація, сексизм, гендерні та сексуальні домагання, гендерне насильство на робочому місці. У зв'язку з цим розглядаються просвітницький, дослідницький, консультативний, корекційний та профілактичний напрями роботи психолога в організації. Даються загальні рекомендації щодо вирішення гендерних проблем у взаємодії персоналу організації.
This paper highlights the findings of the experimental phonetic research of the syntagma realization in the speeches of U.S. Armed Forces high-ranking female officers. The results have been interpreted in comparison with the speeches of high-ranking male officers. The temporal component of prosody is one of the main means of the information structure actualization of the English discourse. It influences the structural semantic character of the utterance. Temporal realization of syntagmas helps the listener to reveal and perceive the information focus of the speech. It also reflects the emotional state of the speaker. This paper states that the syntagmas in the female officers` speeches are shorter than those in the male officers` speeches, their duration correlates with the faster tempo perception, and depends on the syntagmas location within a speech. It is defined that the syntagma temporal realisation in English military discourse is not gender conditioned, and is stipulated by the situation where the discourse is being developed, as well as by the individual features of the speaker. The research proves the importance of further study of prosodic elements of high-ranking female officers` speeches to reveal the gender conditioned features of the military discourse.
The article deals with the problems of improvement and implementation legislation for gender equality in Ukraine. Have been analysed the main manifestations of discrimination against women in labor market: vertical and horizontal occupational segregation; gender wage differentials; difficulties associated with the combination of work and family responsibilities; the overwhelming predominance of women in the field of part-time, informal, temporary employment; sexual harassment. The issues of gender segregation, gender pay gap, gender equality for work-life balance in the context of foreign and national experience have been explore.
The author have been determine the tendencies of improving the labor legislation in foreign countries for introducing the principle of equality between men and women. Gender mainstreaming strategies and programs in G20 countries were summarized. The author draw attention to the nonefficiency of State Social Program for Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men for the period up to 2021, was made the proposals for its improvement.
The study finds that there is the issue of equality opportunities between men and women in representation authorities at different levels in Ukraine (on the example of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine). Approaches to gender quotas in foreign countries have been analyzed. The author used the statistics on employment, entrepreneurship and remuneration to show inequality on the labor martet in Ukraine. The author have also identified that the national legislation, which establishes special guarantees and restrictions on women's work, will have to be improve in the context of a substantive model of equality. The topicality of this issue is related to the fact that the EU is founded on a set of values, including equality. Nowadays the attitude towards women in the society is significantly different from that of men. Unfortunately, inequality does not decline over time. The basic idea of gender equality is to provide both women and men with the same rights, opportunities and conditions for full-fledged development. The article is devoted to the dimensions of the principle of gender equality in the European Union, which is important for Ukraine due to the conditions of European integration. The dimensions of gender equality cover the political, economic, civil, social and cultural spheres of our live activity, including achieving gender equality in employment, equal pay for equal work, gender balance in decision making, harmonization of professional and family life, education and «gender mainstreaming».
That is why research and analysis of gender equality's dimensions in the EU and defining the legal aspects of their regulation are relevant to the legal system of Ukraine. Over the past few decades, the EU has notably worked for equal treatment legislation, gender mainstreaming and specific measures for the advancement of women. Moreover, the EU has defined the following dimensions of gender equality: equal economic independence for women and men; equal pay for work of equal value; equality in decision-making; dignity, integrity and ending gender-based violence; and promoting gender equality beyond the EU.
The dimension of gender equality is a strategy for making women's as well as men's concerns and experiences an integral dimension of the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmes in all political, economic and social spheres, so that women and men benefit equally and the inequality is not perpetuated. Although the EU has achieved positive results in protecting human rights, the work is still continuing in this direction. The idea of gender equality is an integral part of equality as a general principle, development and peace in the world. Without this principle, it is impossible to establish
the basis for democracy, freedom, justice and tolerance. Recently, the principle of gender equality is getting paramount importance for Ukraine, as one of the conditions for successful European integration.

Методи дослідження подано як психолого-педагогічні напрацювання: системно-структурний аналіз, синтез, порівняння, класифікація, узагальнення. Методологічні засади розглядаються у вигляді наукових позицій провідних фахівців в галузі педагогіки з питань технологій впровадження принципів гендерної демократії в сферу освітнього простору. Результати і практичне значення дослідження подані в ракурсі презентації проблем набуття ознак практичної готовності до гендерної освіти нової генерації підростаючого покоління. Перспективи подальших розвідок обумовлені далекосяжними змінами в позиціях науковців щодо гендерної проблематики в педагогіці. ; The specified scientific exploration is presented in order to examine and study the problems and prospects of real gender education in modern elementary school. Methods are presented as psychological and pedagogical achievements: system-structural analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification, and summarization. Methodological principles considered as scientifically leading experts in the field of pedagogy in gender pedagogy for the introduction of gender component in education: gender mainstreaming in the education of adolescents and seniors, training future professionals and gender education of students, modern gender studies in pedagogy that presented as specific technologies towards gender democracy in the field of educational space. The results of research and practical importance given the perspective of presentation problems acquiring practical signs of readiness for a new generation of gender education of the younger generation through proper education of boys and girls, their focus on partnership and interchangeability in family and social roles, which is possible only through the formation of gender in children consciousness. Copyright definition of gender education is presented as a scientific ideology based on the principles of equality of articles on critical examination of relations between the sexes, which are socially constructed, constructed by society. This view is based on scientific reconstruction of these relations in each case, every social institution of society. The wording of the article the findings transformations in modern society as well as to establish the need for gender education perspective as a natural process that is associated with changes leading ideologies regarding "special purpose articles" on their ideas about equality. Стаття присвячена розкриттю змісту формування умінь оперувати статистичними показниками гендерної рівності у майбутніх фахівців з освітніх вимірювань за спеціалізацією «Гендерні студії: науковий аспект» у різноманітних дослідницьких ситуаціях. В результаті дослідження автори прийшли до висновку, що формування умінь оперувати статистичними показниками гендерної рівності у процесі практичної підготовки магістрів за спеціалізацією «Гендерні студії: науковий аспект» характеризується такими особливостями: по-перше, практика використання змодельованих навчальних ситуацій на основі статистичного та якісного аналізу освітньої сфери Кіровоградської області сприяє тому, що студенти отримали можливість системно реалізувати теоретичну й практичну складову підготовки, цим самим ґрунтовніше засвоїти базові категорії основ гендерних досліджень; по-друге, необхідність проведення якісного аналізу отриманих розрахункових даних стимулює пізнавальну активність й самоосвітню діяльність студентів; по-третє, важливим компонентом практичної підготовки за запропонованою методикою стало формування в студентів умінь проводити узагальнення та формулювати системні висновки з проведеної серії гендерних статистичних та якісних досліджень. Since 2015 the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the V. Vynnychenko CUSPU is implementing a project within the framework of the Erasmus+ program «Gender Studies: A Step to Democracy and Peace in the Neighboring Countries of the EU with Different Traditions» the main task of which is to prepare and open the specialization «Gender Studies: Scientific Aspect» at the Master's Degree «Educational Measurements». According to the content of the training of specialists in this specialization and the corresponding educational qualification requirements as part of the practical part of the curriculum, it is foreseen the formation of the students' ability to operate the statistical indicators of gender equality. These include: the estimation of absolute values of statistical data, definition of indicators of absolute gender gap and gender parity, the calculation of the coefficients of gender asymmetry, as well as the graphic representation of gender differences. The article is devoted to the disclosure of the content of the formation of skills to operate the statistical indicators of gender equality among future specialists in Educational measurements of the specialty «Gender Studies: Scientific Aspect» in various research situations. The authors, on the examples of artificially created educational situations the essence of which is to carry out a statistical and qualitative analysis of the educational sphere of the Kirovohrad region, illustrated the main features of the formation of practical skills and abilities of students on how to operate statistical indicators of gender equality. As a result of the study, the authors came to the conclusion that the formation of skills to operate statistical indicators of gender equality in the process of practical training of masters in the specialization «Gender Studies: Scientific Aspect» is characterized by the following features: firstly, the practice of using simulated learning situations on the basis of statistical and qualitative analysis of the educational sphere of the Kirovohrad region contributes to the fact that students were able to systematically implement the theoretical and practical components of the training, thus thoroughly mastering the basic categories of the foundations of the gender studies; secondly, the need for a qualitative analysis of the calculated data stimulates cognitive activity and self-education of students; thirdly, an important component of practical training in the proposed methodology was the formation of students' abilities to generalize and formulate systematic conclusions from a series of gender statistics and qualitative research.
Зазначена наукова розвідка представлена з метою висвітлення й обґрунтування проблем і реальних перспектив гендерної освіти в сучасній початковій школі. Методи дослідження подано як психолого-педагогічні напрацювання: системно-структурний аналіз, синтез, порівняння, класифікація, узагальнення. Методологічні засади розглядаються у вигляді наукових позицій провідних фахівців у галузі педагогіки з питань технологій впровадження принципів гендерної демократії у сферу освітнього простору. Перспективи подальших розвідок обумовлені далекосяжними змінами в позиціях науковців щодо гендерної проблематики в педагогіці. ; The specified scientific investigation is done in order to examine and study the problems and prospects of real gender education in modern elementary school. The methods are presented such as psychological and pedagogical achievements: system-structural analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification, and summarization. The methodological principles considered as scientifically leading experts in the sphere of pedagogy in gender pedagogy for the introduction of gender component in education are: gender mainstreaming in the education of adolescents and seniors, training future professionals and gender education of the students, modern gender studies in pedagogy that is presented as specific technologies towards gender democracy in the sphere of educational space. The results of research and practical importance has given the perspective of presentation the problems acquiring practical signs of readiness for a new generation of gender education of the younger generation through proper education of the boys and girls, their focus on partnership and interchangeability in a family and social roles, which is possible only through the formation of gender in children consciousness. The definition of gender education is presented as a scientific ideology based on the principles of equality of the articles on critical examination of the relations between the sexes, which are socially constructed, constructed by society. This view is based on scientific reconstruction of these relations in each case, every social institution of the society. The article reveals the finding transformations in modern society as well as to establish the need for gender education perspective as a natural process that is associated with the changes leading ideologies regarding «special purpose articles» on their ideas about equality. The prospects for further research are due to far-reaching changes in the positions of the researchers on gender issues in pedagogy. Thus, gender education, meeting the requirements of a modern democratic society and the development of the law involves a departure from the concept of undoubted «innate sex differences between boys' and girls' education and the idea of innate gender roles», shifting the emphasis on the institutional context and environment context equitable interaction of gender relations.
