The research of innovative educational models is, in the modern era, one of the topics of greatest interest in the pedagogical theorization. The education of young generations has always been the focal point of the social evolution and the economic and cultural growth of a people. A recent study by "TreeLLLe" highlights how, in today's educational landscape, the form of "learning to know" prevails significantly on the form of "learning to live with others". In this sense, it would be desirable to have greater interaction between social governanceand cultural governance. The Capability approach opens, in this direction, interesting reflections, combining capabilities and opportunities in the perspective of well being. In this context, cultural responsibility, social responsibility, political governance and cultural governance intersect each other, creating a subject conscious of "being" through a "social being". Thus, an "active space of education" is dominated by an eternal tension between "universal action" and "individual action". It is necessary to look for the birth of a renewed social and personal identity, capable of facing the challenges of an increasinglycomplex and planetary world. ; La ricerca di modelli pedagogici innovativi, capaci di rispondere alle contestuali esigenze educative dell'epoca moderna, rappresenta uno dei temi di maggiore interesse per il mondo della scuola e per la teorizzazione pedagogica. Questo libro è nato nell'ambito dell'insegnamento di Economia dell'Innovazione nel corso di laurea triennale Lingue Mercati Culture dell'Asia - LMCA presso il Dipartimento di Lingue Letterature e Culture Moderne - LILEC dell'Università di Bologna, ed esamina diversi aspetti dell'impatto dell'innovazione sulla crescita economica della Cina nel mercato globale come un caso studio. Si compone di un capitolo introduttivo e di quattro parti: 1) Open the Door: la globalizzazione in entrata; 2) Indigenous Innovation: globalizzazione in uscita; 3) Climbing the Ladder; 4)Variabile estensione del mercato: Globale – Regionale. Vengono analizzati i seguenti temi/settori: Innovation Policy, Global Value Chains, Intellectual Property Rights e Standard Setting; R&D; Fotovoltaico, Veicoli Elettrici, Startup, eCommerce e Fintech, Intelligenza Artificiale, Guerra commerciale USA-Cina, Belt and Road Initiative.

The paper develops three arguments as to why the state will remain a central actor in economic & social development, rather than become a residual authority under globalization, & why economic integration has both state-reinforcing & state-augmenting effects. The first argument highlights the substantial scope for action in key policy arenas & links this to the enabling dynamics of globalization, which heightens economic vulnerability & uncertainty. The second emphasizes the structuring role of territorially centred institutions & the ways in which these are valorized by globalization. The final argument underscores the important ways in which global networks are closely entwined with, rather than independent of, national networks of interaction. References. Maintaining and improving the soil resource is crucial for the protection of the global environment, the sustainability issues, the human well-being, and the economic development. Soil is in fact a complex integrated system whose multitude of biotic and abiotic properties allows the provision of functions, which in turn deliver ecosystem services for human benefits. The most widespread agrarian, forest and food production systems may have negative impacts on soil, thus exacerbating its degradation processes. There is an increasing awareness that improper use or poor soil management, together with the most recent events related to climate change, jeopardize the proper functioning of soils. The need to protect the soil resource is thus widely shared internationally. One of the major challenges in the new growth EU strategy is to accomplish food security and to promote sustainable agricultural development, achieving the climate neutrality by 2050. Given the crucial role of soil for human activities, the Soil Thematic Group of the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL), Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna (Italy), states its position identifying the main challenges for the future growth of EU in: - The organic carbon loss; - Bio-technologies for agro-waste conversion into eco-efficient bio-based products; - Soil biodiversity: preservation and restoration; - The agroecological systems for supporting the farm to fork and ecosystems and biodiversity policies; - Towards a soil sustainable and suitable farm and food system; - Forest soil restoration; - Next generation policy instruments for soil conservation and carbon sequestration; - Soil as energy resource for sustainable rural facilities; - Novel methodologies and approaches to multi-criteria landscape analysis, monitoring and planning.

The volume deals with the changing role of public finance over the course of the twentieth century, documenting the enormous increase in public spending found in all industrialised countries. The authors believe that the increase in government spending over the past thirty-five years has not resulted in significant additional social and economic well-being. This suggests that public spending in industrialised countries could be much lower without sacrificing important economic policy objectives. For this to be possible, governments must reconsider their role as players who set the rules of the game, and this study suggests possible institutional and spending policy reforms. After a detailed account of the experiences of reforms in different countries and the related debate, the volume closes with a perspective on the future role of the state in an era in which globalisation could demand, and people might want, "leaner" but by no means more inefficient states. Within the framework of the international debate focusing on experiences emerg- ing from cities in the global North, this paper aims to explore urban food policies under the lens of a global South perspective, paying particular attention to African cities and taking into account the common elements they present –compared with other urban contexts and terri- tories – but also the speci cities with respect to the process of urbanization and the linkages existing amongst cities and food. Under this light, urban food policies in an African context are also placed, on the one side, into a path speci ed by a number of keywords such as food and nutrition security, self-suf ciency and food sovereignty; on the other, they are positioned in a context of internationalization of re ections and actions culminated in the New Urban Agenda and the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact. The prospect of urban food policies is nally presented as an inspiring and propelling opportunity for new forms of territorial partnerships.
