Problems of Transateral Diplomacy: New Narrative or Old Binary Code?
In: Political Science Issues, Heft 8(72), S. 2320-2327
The Relationship of Emotions Comprehension and Pragmatic Aspects of the Narrative in Preschool Age
In: Vestnik RFFI, Heft 4, S. 76-84
ISSN: 2410-4639
This investigation is devoted to the study of the relationship of emotions comprehension and pragmatic aspects of the narrative in preschool age. The study involved 269 children aged 5–6 years (133 boys and 136 girls) attending the senior group of kindergarten in Moscow. The study reveals the connections between the results of emotions comprehension assessment tests and the pragmatic aspects of the narratives on a series of pictures or retelling the text by preschoolers (semantic completeness, adequacy, completeness of the narrative, understanding the actions of the characters). In addition, the study shows that children with a higher level of emotion comprehension cope better with the semantic aspects when constructing the narratives, answers to questions and a pragmatic understanding of both images and text.
AUTHOR, NARRATOR, HERO IN M.YU. LERMONTOV'S NOVEL A HERO OF OUR TIME: NARRATIVE POETICS
In: Vestnik Moskovskogo Universiteta: naučnyj žurnal = Moscow State University bulletin. Serija 9, Filologija, Heft №4, 2023, S. 123-134
The article is devoted to the analysis of the correlation between the figures of the real author and the fictional author-narrator in the novel by M.Yu. Lermontov A Hero of Our Time. It is shown that as a result of the inclusion in the text of the second edition of the novel (1841) of the author's preface, containing Lermontov's polemic with the reviewers of the first edition, there was an interference of the "I" of the real creator of the work and the "I" of the fictional author, to whom the stories Bela, Princess Mary and the preface to the diary of the protagonist are attributed. It is significant that some of the biographical features of Lermontov and the fictional author coincide, and the two prefaces overlap. Thanks to all this, the effect of a non-trivial literary game arose, based on the illusion of the authenticity of the events set forth in the novel: the real author seems to get acquainted with
Pechorin. This game is fundamentally different from the Sternian play and violation of the boundaries of the real and the fictional in A.S. Pushkin's Eugene Onegin, whose main characters are represented both by real persons and creations of the author's imagination. Unlike Pushkin and many contemporary Russian prose writers, Lermontov does not expose, but, on the contrary, hides the fictional, purely literary nature of his narrative. At the same time, the creator of A Hero of Our Time does not resort to literary hoax, does not directly try to pass off either the first-level narrator or Pechorin as the real authors of the novel or part of it. The story of A. von Chamisso The Extraordinary Story of Peter Schlemil could serve as a model for such a game, in which the central character, who tells a fantastic story of the events of his life, is an acquaintance of the author and his real-life friends.
Survival, Exotica and Emptiness: The Evolution of the Post-Soviet open Market in Urban Narratives
In: Sociologičeskij žurnal: Sociological journal, Band 24, Heft 4, S. 54-74
ISSN: 1684-1581
This article analyzes the transformation process of ideas about the functionality and the social content of the open clothing market of a large "post-Soviet" Siberian city in urban narratives by the example of Shanhajka, the Irkutsk open market. Based on material from 60 semi-structured interviews, described are the functions that are assigned to the market depending on the period in question, the idea of its typical groups and their role in the city's daily life. It is hypothesized that the market space per se is a marker showing the borderline state of the "post-Soviet" city as a whole. Being one of the urban mobility concentration points, the open market responds primarily to any significant changes in the urban environment. The question is whether it is correct to consider the open market to be an adaptation mechanism of the population of "post-Soviet" cities to the situation of social chaos, as a space where "guerrilla" adaptation tactics of citizens to the rapidly changing city are acceptable. This article also describes such a category as "ethnic markers", as well as its role and significance in the context of an open market. I. Hoffmann's dramaturgical metaphor, M. De Serto's "strategies-tactics" dichotomy and E. Laclo's and S. Muff's approach to the analysis of discourse are used as ideas for researching the open market in urban narratives. The open market is regarded as an "unstable sign", the meaning and connotations of which are transformed over time, depending on the social context and the period cited by the respondent

About the Originality of the Narrative Utopia of the 1920th.
The article is devoted to the utopias of the 1920thcreated in the Soviet Russia and emigration. The space-time gap compositional method achieved by the scientific means (hypnosis, anabiosis) and the demonstration of future seen through the eyes of time travelers is used in the novels of V. Itin and Y. Okunev. The model of future corresponds to the stereotypical ideas about communism in combination with technological progress. Transformation of the «old» man in the creator of a new world is the key concept of the V.Itin's utopia; Y. Time and space shift as the acquisition of the ideal world is not used in the novel; scientific and technological achievements are depicted as elements of everyday life, the aspect of «escape» from the Dictator of the World on the remote islands is presented. Social and political structure of that time becomes the subject of parody by turning and exaggerating familiar for the readers social and political life. In all the novels there is some resemblance withN. Lublin Union in the context of narrative minimalism and legal historical contents in the end of 16th – the first half of 17th century
In: Žurnal Belorusskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta: Časopis Belaruskaha Dzjaržaŭnaha Ŭniversitėta = Journal of the Belarusian State University. Istorija = Historyja = History, Heft 2, S. 22-30
ISSN: 2617-4006
The article analyzes the information about Lublin 1569 Union from the narrative and documentary sources that date back to the reign of the first monarchs of Vasa dynasty. The author defines main contexts of the term «union» use in the sejm constitutions and documentation of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania congresses. The direct correlation between the estimates of the Union at different levels of state representative institutions of the Commonwealth is revealed. The Lublin Sejm of 1569 was a key event in the history of Eastern Europe, but in the historical works (chronicles and annals) of the second half of 16th – early 17th century information about it and its decisions are concise and general. At the end of 16th – the first half of 17th century the memory of Lublin Union was not mainly broadcast by narrative channels. In keeping the memory about 1569 events legal deeds and state institutions decisions were of considerable importance. The result of the state union with Poland was the approval of the public law standards that could not be ignored by any representative of the so-called political people of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the following centuries. The author maintains that as a whole the Grand Duchy of Lithuania gentry did not question the correctness of the 1569 choice, took and defended «Lublin myth», as under those conditions it had more benefits than losses.
Narrative sources on the events of the Great patriotic war in the Kuban ;
This article presents the results of studies on the daily history of the Soviet period of our state during the difficult times of World War II. The work considers the southern region of the USSR, the territory of the Krasnodar Territory (the city of Krasnodar and the village of Pavlovskaya.) Some local families left the Kuban at the beginning of the war and left, for example, to evacuate. Others were forced to stay, during the occupation of the region and its capital by the Nazi troops in 1942-1943 they were in the Kuban, in Krasnodar. This article is based on both previously unpublished memoirs of city residents collected by the authors (memoirs by Razinskaya S.A., Zhigir E.G., Morozova E.V., Yesayan M.A.) and published as personal memoirs and diaries (Khudoley I.I., Chalenko K.N.). For the first time, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of our country in World War II, an attempt was made to put into scientific circulation these materials, telling about the pre-occupation period of the Territory and the city of Krasnodar, as well as directly the time of the occupation of the southern region by fascist invaders. It is concluded that the stories of ordinary people – eyewitnesses to important historical events, the so-called narrative sources (oral and recorded memoirs, letters, diaries and school essays) provide historians with invaluable material to restore the picture of everyday life of the military historical era. There is no conflict of interests.

Subjectivation verbal techniques in first-person narrative (in the context of the narrator image analysis in I.S. Shmelev's novel "The Year of Our Lord")
In: Mir nauki: sociologija, filologija, kul'turologija : naučnyj žurnal otkrytogo dostupa = World of science : sociology, philology, cultural studies, Band 14, Heft 1
ISSN: 2542-0577
The article proposes a stylistic analysis of the methods of linguistic expression of the subjectivation of an artistic narration in the presence of the image of the narrator expressed in the first person. The literary text is studied from the standpoint of text stylistics, which considers such categories of text as the image of the author, the image of the narrator, the word row, etc. The proposed approach to the study of the text of a work of art makes it possible to pay attention to the organization of the text as a whole, its verbal composition, how linguistic units coexist and interact within the word range. The author made an attempt on the example of the analysis of the image of the narrator in the novel by I.S. Shmelev's "The Year of Our Lord" to show how "polyphony" is created, that is, the presence in the narration from the first person of different points of view, from the positions of which the events in the novel are described. Such verbal methods of subjectification as direct speech, indirect speech and internal monologue, helping to shift the point of view in the subjective narrative from one subject to another. The author's field of vision also includes graphic techniques that support the reflection of "foreign" points of view in the artistic text. In the article, special attention is paid to the analysis of improperly direct speech, since it is precisely this design of "alien" speech that implements the author's task to maximally erase the boundaries between the "faces" of the narrator, the child-hero of the events and other participants in these events, thereby "plunging" the reader into the consciousness narrator. It is also of interest how this helps to realize a reliable image of a child narrator at the linguistic level.
The study carried out is of theoretical importance, since it considers the categories studied by the style of the text, which have not yet been fully developed.
