New technologies and new forms of work: the case of the press and edition ; Nouvelles technologies et nouvelles formes de travail : le cas de la presse et de l'édition
The study was carried out as part of their programme of assessment of technological choices for the Scientific Policy Council and the Economic and Social Council of the Walloon Region. The objective of the research is twofold. On the one hand, the aim is to analyse the evolution of products, services, businesses, professions and jobs in a sector which plays a key role in French-speaking Belgium and which also has a significant cultural impact. On the other hand, in the light of this sectoral study, more general trends need to be identified in terms of flexible organisation, new forms of work and the transformation of skills and qualifications.

While the scientific literature concludes that collaborative innovation is not a new concept, definitions are often contradictory and its implementation remains enigmatic. Therefore, this thesis in management aimed to address the issue by stating its main question as follows: "How do we capitalize on the new forms of work organization targeting collaborative innovation in regions supporting smart specialization strategies? The case of coworking spaces". As a consequence, the following research objectives have been formulated: 1. To analyze the collaborative dimension of the organization of work in order to detect its innovative potential; 2. To identify management processes that foster collaborative innovation using the case of coworking spaces; 3. To conjugate these processes at the level of a territory in order to propose an integrative management model capable of enhancing the potential of collaborative innovation. The thesis was articulated around three levels of analysis: conceptual, conjunctural and territorial. Empirical research has focused on several case studies: 11 coworking spaces in France and 6 coworking spaces in the United States. The triangulation of the data from semi - structured interviews, documentary analysis and empirical observation helped produce quality results. The conceptual analysis permitted to clarify the notion of "novelty" associated with the new forms of work organization, as well as their innovative potential; thus, this level of analysis aimed to outline the collaborative innovation analysis grid, the conceptual schema of the thesis. The conjunctural level of the analysis proposed an enriched conceptual diagram by integrating the elements of the fieldwork. Finally, the territorial analysis provided an integrative model of the territorial management of collaborative innovation. On the one hand, these results are meant to raise awareness of the new implications of collaborative work and its potential, particularly collaborative innovation; on the other hand, they emphasize the importance of space and the importance of the three types of communication - communication for coordination, communication for information, and communication for inspiration - in the management of collaborative innovation. Thus, they underline multiple opportunities to define new (public) policies for the management of (territorial) collaborative innovation.

Restructuring, relocation: new forms of territorial action ; Restructurations, délocalisations : les nouvelles formes de l'action territoriale
Under the rise of globalisation, industrial restructuring has evolved into more continuous forms of business change. At the same time, the forms of state action have changed: in "old" restructuring, the state, often a shareholder, was involved in a massive industrial and social way. Its scope of action has now narrowed, with the emergence of new regulatory areas (Europe, WTO, regions, etc.) and the rise in regulation through labour law. In this new context, the State and its representatives can no longer claim an overwhelming position, but they are always called upon in crisis situations linked to restructuring. In addition, more recently, diffuse concerns about offshoring have led to a resurgence, at least in rhetoric, of the idea of industrial policy, which has been discredited for more than 20 years in favour of the very European theme of competition regulation. The State has therefore not disappeared from the landscape. But its modes of intervention have been renewed, and other actors are involved. It can be seen that new forms of collective action are invented locally, involving private and public actors, representatives of local and regional authorities and the State, in unique processes where people's profiles, more or less informal networks and management systems can stimulate new forms of cooperation and collective learning. These forms of action often arise during crises, stimulated by the electroshock they constitute for a region. But they can also be set up more 'cold', under certain conditions, thus contributing to a slow and underground work of 'anchoring' companies in a territory. This Communication focuses on the concrete analysis of these collective actions and the conditions for their implementation and development, on the basis of field surveys. Two examples will be used: one concerns a 'hot' restructuring situation in the footwear sector in Choletais. The other more 'cold' analysis of the situation in a region, the Moselle-East, in relation to the risks of relocation in the automotive sector. ...

Political implications of new non-state forms of forest governance ; Implications politiques des nouvelles formes non étatiques de gouvernance forestière
International audience ; In response to the difficulties facing public authorities in their efforts to administrate global forestry issues, new forms of non-state governance have recently emerged. This article proposes first to describe some of these forms. It then goes on to examine three types of political effects induced by some of these private forms of forest governance. In the first place, the growing influence of NGOs and of the private sector in international forestry affairs which has the effect of redefining relationships between the public and private spheres. Secondly the article examines how private schemes call on new forms of expertise found in participatory settings and the related risk that some actors will be excluded. Finally, the article looks at how these transnational forms of private governance can alter international relations, in particular North-South relations.

The forms of scientific work in STAPS: between disciplarity and interdisciplinarity ; Les formes de travail scientifique en STAPS : entre disciplinarité et interdisciplinarité
National audience ; The STAPS follow a vast movement which is both political and scientific, and which encourages interdisciplinarity. Considered as able to produce specific but also heuristic knowledge in order to answer complex social questions, its implementation can be problematic for the usual scientific work. This discipline, originally pluridisciplinary, is fully related to interdisciplinarity. Based on a group of various texts and interviews with teachers-researchers, our study aims to a better understanding of the conditions of interdisciplinary activity. We underline tension, and sometimes contradictions between two injunctions related to interdisciplinary work: interdisciplinarity and academic disciplinary needs. We show that it is through six different types of work which we introduce as paths, understood as stabilized action regimes, that ways of interdisciplinary work in the field of STAPS can be observed.

"Life Project Assistant": towards a new form of support?
Support is a multi-facetted and cross practice. Today support is defined as a social intervention process where the subject should primarily be the actor of his own change. This is why the current politics are driving a reorganization of the public action, in particular by the establishment of new support professions. Currently in France, a new function is at an experimental stage, that of "Life Project Assistant", which aims to help families and individuals with disabilities to formalize their life project. However, how to present the function of a Life Project Assistant? How will it be implemented? What are the characteristics of this role? The purpose of this research is to try to define the place and role of the Life Project Assistant by identifying tensions and function dilemmas.

The purpose of this study is to examine the literary work of Martin Kohan (Buenos Aires, 1967), prolific and increasingly renowned writer in contemporary Argentinian literature. We analyse the corpus – made up of the essential of his work: eight novels out of the nine published so far, La pérdida de Laura (1993), El informe. El exilio de Echeverría (2000), Dos veces junio (2002), Segundos afuera (2005), Museo de la Revolución (2006), Ciencias morales (2007), Cuentas pendientes (2010); and two collections of short stories, Muero contento (1994), and Una pena extraordinaria (1998), mainly – from the perspective of antagonism, an essential pattern in terms of diegesis but also in terms of form. The starting point of this study is the observation of a constant within a diverse work: a dichotomous relationship made of incomprehension and sometimes violence between popular culture and literate culture. The first part of the thesis consists of a systematic analysis of the dichotomy in the five novels which explicitly explores this type of conflict. The second part examines other devices that tend to confirm the structuring role of antagonism throughout Kohan's fictions : love's defeat seems to express the fatality of misunderstanding, yet the depreciation of the middle characters and of consensus on the one hand, and the invigorating nature of conflicts when driven to their end on the other hand, reveal the positive and particularly dynamic aspect of antagonism. The last part focuses on the implications of this pattern which perbades to the point of becoming a necessity: on a political level– although Kohan's literature is not realistic, it activates the Marxist revolution by developing counter-power figures –; in literary terms, where antagonism proves a productive force. The hypertextual relation, set up especially with seminal national pieces, is an essential expression of this productivity but the dichotomy also operates at every level of writing, from ...
