This contribution explains the discursive modalities, which offer a media visibility of Muslim women in the daily newspaper La Libre Belgique. The analysis examines the newspaper's material devices such as the creation of sections, the thematic structures and the reference strategies used in the news articles in order to construct social hierarchies based on religious identity and gender criteria.
Nurit Schleifman, A Russian daily newspaper and its new readership: Severnaia pchela, 1825 -1840. Severnaia pchela, the first privately owned Russian newspaper, was published in St. Petersburg for almost forty years. The time of its appearance was marked by a growing participation of the urban middle strata in the consumption of literature, which consequently turned them into the newspaper's chief target audience. The educated elite viewed Severnaia pchela' s success with this new readership as a regrettable result of both the existing political circumstances and the paper's policy of catering to the lowest possible tastes. Whereas contemporary historiography tends towards the same view, a closer examination reveals the paper's persistent attempt to use a restricted thematic framework. for conveying messages that would correspond to the social needs and life experiences of its new readers. This endeavour should be considered as a contributary factor in Severnaia pchela's success in maintaining its position as the most widely read daily until the early forties.

The interlocutory dialogicality of press discourse manifests itself, among other things, in the use of common expressions that give the impression that "it is the language that speaks, not its users" (Bonhomme, 2012, p. 77). Euphemisms, for example, are used to raise difficult or polemic inducing issues, such as poverty, exclusion, war, politics, etc. Meanwhile, expressions that have become common in the source language, and are consistent with generally accepted norms, do not always remain transparent during the translation process. Depending on the translator's choices, the phrases used in the target text can have various effects, ranging from the erasure of sensitive topics, to their hyperbolization. The subject of the paper is the comparison of articles published in the French monthly Le Monde diplomatique and their translations, which appeared on the pages of the Polish edition of this periodical. Its aim is to reveal the traces of the translator's presence, visible through his or her ways of interpreting euphemistic phrases, or toning down harsh expressions. ; The interlocutory dialogicality of press discourse manifests itself, among other things, in the use of common expressions that give the impression that "it is the language that speaks, not its users" (Bonhomme, 2012, p. 77). Our purpose throughout this research on La Quotidienne, a Parisian daily newspaper, is to deal with an aspect of reactionary thought in France at the end of the Revolution, in 1795 to be precise. Even though the title of this thesis focuses on the Thermidorian Convention, our research includes December 1796 issues, published therefore under the Directory rule. This allows us to consider the evolution of this paper between two political systems. Our thesis mostly focuses on the different genres and forms of literature published in La Quotidienne (poetry, dialogues, theatre…). It was however necessary to first consider the general context of publication: the political history of the Thermidorian Convention, as well as the timid and careful rebirth of press freedom after the 9th Thermidor. Between these two parts, we provide a material description of the newspaper (headings, articles, sections, subscription, etc.)We have read La Quotidienne with curiosity and as objectively as possible; but also with a pleasure derived from our strong attachment to literature and the press. We wish to convey some of this pleasure to our readers, when they discover this somewhat neglected newspaper – a small stage where the main ideas of the time are at play.

This article was drafted during the sessions of the Franco-German Congress of Tours (1996): The German in France, the French in Germany, for a new policy, for a new sense. The television newspaper can open up the society that learners want to know better in terms of its organisation and functioning. It will then be interesting to introduce the document in a socio-political and economic context, as it is a composite product with an intended purpose and impact. This choice leads to an analysis of a "Presse-Information" body, which can be envisaged as proposed by Marie-Louise Brandi. The journalistic approach that our colleague makes it possible to raise awareness of the nuances of information processing brought about by the various media media, channels and their political coloration. Our contributions will complement each other because the strategy I propose here is rather technical. I am more concerned with the semmiological logic of the television newspaper and in particular the reports of which it is composed.
