The shade of Henri de La Tour d'Auvergne, Duc de Bouillon, 1555-1623, appears to Ernst, Graf von Mansfeld, 1580-1626, giving advice for the latter's military, political, and personal conduct. Mansfeld commanded an army of German Protestant mercenaries that was ready to come to the aid of their French coreligionists.
