ABSTRACT Introduction: This article propose to connect two research agendas on political behavior: studies on political tolerance and research on partisanship. Search, by connecting these two agendas, to assess the extent to which parties have become targets of political intolerance and thereby to assess the intensity of negative attitudes towards this central institution of democracy. Studies on partisanship conflicts in Brazil have focused on the antagonism opposing petismo and antipetismo. However, the 2018 elections have shown that Brazilians also adopt other forms of antipartisanship. Changes in patterns of political and electoral behavior in recent years can only be properly understood if we consider variation over time in the intensity and scope of antipartisan sentiment. We propose a typology where antipartisanship may be moderate or radical and may have a narrower or broader target. This theme is significant not only for interpreting Brazil's current political context, but also for deepening understanding of theoretical and analytical questions. Our understanding is that these different types of antipartisanship are distinct phenomena with different effects. Materials and Methods: The data we use to construct the proposed typology and analyze the range and intensity of antipartisanship are derived from an unprecedented Latin America Public Opinion Project initiative to measure political tolerance in Brazil, in its 2017 edition. Our methodology combine variables of disaffection and political intolerance to construct different voter profiles, based on respondent's attitudes towards unpopular groups, including political parties. After constructing the typology, we propose regression models to estimate the effects of each type on several attitudes, like support to democracy and institutional trust. Results: Our findings show a relationship between the most extreme types of antipartisanship and attitudes towards democracy. Compared with non-antipartisan voters, intolerant antipartisan are less supportive of democracy and democratic institutions and less favorable to freedom of expression and the granting of political rights to minorities. The intensity of antipartisanship matters more than its scope, since the models show that, there is little difference in the degree of commitment to democracy and democratic principles between the two types of intolerant antipartisans, regardless of the scope of the target of their disapproval. This means that attitudes toward democracy, democratic institutions, and democratic principles depend less on the scope antipartisanship, than on political intolerance towards these groups. Discussion: The data and results presented here indicate that antipartisanship is not a one-dimensional phenomenon. The individual is not merely antipartisan or non-antipartisan. We show that antipartisanship contains at least two dimensions: its scope and intensity. Previous studies have already shown the existence of different expressions of antipartisanship, but this diversity has not yet been systematically explored using a well-defined typology. A crise dos migrantes e refugiados na Europa do século XXI originou novas divergências no velho continente que colocam desafios difíceis à construção da identidade europeia. Classificada já como a maior crise migratória e humanitária do pós-guerra, a realidade dos migrantes e refugiados revelou uma Europa incapaz de responder ao problema com uma solução conjunta. Para além do aspeto humanitário, muitas vezes de contornos dramáticos explorados pelos média, o fenómeno é também motivo de fricções entre as instituições e os Estados-membro da União Europeia, ameaçando tornar-se o gatilho de uma crise política e de um novo equilíbrio de forças entre os Estados. Dada a centralidade que ganhou, a crise dos refugiados pode também ser perspetivada do ponto de vista do aproveitamento político por parte de diferentes fações, que dela extraem dividendos importantes para a sua própria territorialização. Discursos europeístas, de tolerância e aceitação, baseados nos ideais solidários do projeto europeu, coexistem com discursos extremistas, de tendência xenófoba e anti-integração. Na presente reflexão, analisamos a forma como o discurso político eleitoralista, do género textual manifesto político, codifica argumentativamente a questão dos refugiados, focalizando, para esse efeito, quatro dos manifestos eleitorais dos candidatos às eleições presidenciais portuguesas de 2016. A partir da caracterização do género seguindo a proposta de Adam (2001, pp. 40-41) das componentes semântica, composicional/estrutural, enunciativa, pragmática, estilística e fraseológica, metatextual, peritextual e material, confirmamos que existe, simultaneamente, unidade e diversidade nos exemplares analisados. Por um lado, uma unidade que permite reconhecer nos diferentes textos manifestações de um mesmo género; por outro lado, uma diversidade que traduz/produz efeitos na construção do ethos e nas estratégias discursivas e políticas de cada candidato. O tratamento da crise dos refugiados é justamente um dos temas cujo tratamento diverge substancialmente de manifesto para manifesto, revelando estratégias discursivas e políticas específicas. ; The crisis of migrants and refugees in 21st century Europe has created new disagreements on the old continent that pose difficult challenges for the construction of European identity. Already classified as the most massive post-war humanitarian and migratory crisis, the reality of migrants and refugees has revealed a Europe unable to respond to the problem with a joint solution. In addition to the humanitarian aspect, often of dramatic contours exploited by the media, the phenomenon is also a source of friction between the institutions and the Member states of EU, threatening to become the trigger for a European political crisis and a new balance of forces between States. Given the centrality it has gained, the refugee crisis may also be viewed as a means of pursuing strategic advantage by different political factions, which extract significant dividends for their territorialisation from the issue. Europeanist discourses of tolerance and acceptance, based on the ideals of solidarity of the European project, coexist with extremist, xenophobic and anti-integration discourses. In the present reflection, we analyse how the electoral political discourse, of the textual genre political manifesto, encodes argumentatively the refugee question, focusing, for this purpose, four of the electoral manifestos of the candidates for the Portuguese presidential elections of 2016. Following the proposal of Adam (2001, pp. 40-41) for the characterisation of a genre (in semantic, compositional/structural, enunciative, pragmatic, stylistic and phraseological, metatextual, peritextual and material components), we confirm that there is unity and diversity in the analysed specimens. On the one hand, unity that enables recognising the different texts as manifestations of the same genre; on the other hand, diversity that translates/produces effects in the ethè and discursive/political strategies of each candidate. The refugee crisis is precisely one of the topics whose management diverges substantially from manifesto to manifesto, revealing specific discursive and political strategies.

Although generally considered a tolerant or even an ultra-pacifistic religion,
contemporary Buddhism is far from being free from internal political-religious tensions.
The present article sketches three conflicts: the first is located within the Kagyüpaline
where two sub-currents argue about the legitimacy of the spiritual leader of the
school; the second refers to the controversy over Dorje Shugden, a protective deity whose veneration was declared dangerous by the Dalai Lama and other leaders of the Guelugpa-school in opposition to the defenders of this religious practice; the third one is the dispute over Soka Gakkai whose status as a modern representative of Nichiren Buddhism is questioned by other Japanese Buddhist groups. After having laid out the basic characteristics of the three conflicts the article deals with their impact on contemporary Brazilian Buddhism.

Objective. This study describes and analyzes the relationship between political ideology, the intolerance of ambiguity, homophobia and prejudice against transgender groups in a sample of university students and graduates from the city of Lima (N = 144). Method. A quantitative descriptive-correlational study was carried out. Spanish translated versions of RWA and SDO scales were used. Also were used an adapted version of MSTAT-II (Tolerance of Ambiguity Scale) and a version of the Modern Homophobia Scale (MHS) validated for university students in the city of Lima. Results. A direct relationship was found between RWA, SDO, intolerance of ambiguity, homophobia and prejudice against certain transgender groups (transvestites and transsexuals). A multiple linear regression model suggests that RWA and intolerance of ambiguity, combined, could be applicable predictors of homophobic attitudes. Conclusion. Based on the results, it is possible to verify that there is a relationship between psychological variables that express a conservative political ideology and prejudice towards homosexuals and transgender groups, to the extent they could be considered by the most conservative individuals as very ambiguous social stimuli. ; Objetivo. Este estudio describe y analiza la relación entre la ideología política, la intolerancia a la ambigüedad, la homofobia y el prejuicio hacia los grupos transgénero en una muestra de estudiantes y egresados universitarios de la ciudad de Lima (N = 144). Método. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo-correlacional en el cual se utilizaron versiones adaptadas al español de las escalas RWA, SDO, Mstat-II (Escala de Tolerancia a la Ambigüedad), y una versión de la escala de Homofobia Moderna (MHS) validada en población universitaria de Lima. Resultados. Se encontró una relación directa entre el RWA, la SDO, la intolerancia a la am bigüedad, la homofobia y el prejuicio hacia determinados grupos transgénero (travestis y transexuales). Un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple propone que determinados niveles en RWA y en intolerancia a la ambigüedad pueden ser buenos predictores de actitudes homofóbicas. Conclusión. Se ha podido constatar que existe una relación entre las variables psicológicas que expresan una ideología política conservadora y el prejuicio hacia los homosexuales y hacia los grupos transgénero, en la medida en que son considerados por las personas más conservadoras como estímulos sociales muy ambiguos. ; Escopo. Este estudo descreve e analisa a relação entre ideologia política, intolerância à ambiguidade, homofobia e prejuízo para os grupos transgender numa amostra de estudantes e graduados universitários da cidade de Lima (N=144). Metodologia. Foi realizado um estudo quantitativo de tipo descritivo- co relacional no qual foram utilizados versões adaptadas ao espanhol das escalas RWA, SDO, MSTAT-II (Escala de Tolerância à ambiguidade) e uma versão da escala de Homofobia Moderna (MHS) validada em população universitária de Lima. Resultados. Foi achada uma relação direta entre o RWA, a SDO, a intolerância à ambiguidade, a homofobia e o prejuízo para determinados grupos transgender (travestis e transexuais). Um modelo de regressão lineal múltipla propõe que determinados níveis em RWA e em intolerância à ambiguidade podem ser bons preditores de atitudes de homofobia. Conclusão. Foi constatada uma relação entre as variáveis psicológicas que expressam uma ideologia política conservadora e o prejuízo para os homossexuais e para os grupos transgender, na medida em que são considerados pelas pessoas mais conservadoras como estímulos sociais muito ambíguos.

Introducción. Colombia tiene una variedad de territorios, de gente, de culturas, de afiliaciones políticas y religiosas, sin embargo, ha sido afectada por una historia de violencia, de desigualdad, de corrupción, de politiquería, entre otros, hechos asociados con la falta de tolerancia, la diferencia y la desprotección a las comunidades y las minorías. Objetivo. El estudio se propuso develar los saberes producidos por las organizaciones, sus modos culturales de construcción de conocimiento, aprendizajes interculturales, prácticas educativas y saberes. Como apuesta contrahegemónica se planteó visibilizarlas a partir de sus territorios, sus historias de vida y sus experiencias. Metodología. Se llevó a cabo desde la investigación-acción-participación, con 38 personas coinvestigadoras de 10 organizaciones a partir de encuentros pedagógicos/investigativos, de visitas a territorios, círculos de reflexión y entrevistas. Resultados. Se identificaron líneas de fuga en clave de la descolonización de las manifestaciones estéticas, epistémicas y la configuración de la pedagogía en territorio como vehículo de relaciones, el cuidado de si, de los otros en espacios comunes desde diálogos y prácticas plurilógicas y pluriculturales. Conclusiones. se logra evidenciar el reconocimiento de una diversidad epistémica y una pedagogía otra, esto es, un llamamiento de otras lógicas/ruptura de la idea unitaria de mundo. Al interior del proceso de educación de las organizaciones también es posible encontrar trayectos para educar diferenciales, donde los conceptos y los métodos educativos se desinstalen del tiempo pasado, presentados como aconteceres cotidianos que son interrogados en espacios deliberativos. ; Introduction. Colombia has a variety of territories, people, cultures, political, and religious affiliations; however, it has been affected by a history of violence, inequality, corruption, among other evils, associated with the lack of tolerance for differences and the lack of protection for communities and minorities. Objective. The study was proposed to unveil the knowledge produced by organizations, their cultural modes of knowledge construction, intercultural learning, practices, and knowledge. As a counter-hegemonic bet, it was proposed to make them visible by considering their territories, life stories, and experiences. Method. The study was conducted from participatory action research, with 38 co-researchers from 13 organizations through pedagogical/research meetings, visits to territories, reflection circles, and interviews. Results. The study identified lines of flight analyzed from the perspective of the decolonization of aesthetic, epistemic manifestations, and the configuration of pedagogy in a territory as a vehicle of relations, the care of oneself and others in common spaces from dialogues, and plurilogical and multicultural practices. Conclusions. It is possible to demonstrate the recognition of an epistemic diversity and another pedagogy, that is, a call for other logics/rupture of the unitary idea of the world. Within the educational process of organizations, it is also possible to find paths to educate differentials, where educational concepts and methods are removed from the past and presented as everyday events that are interrogated in deliberative spaces. ; Introdução. A Colômbia possui uma variedade de territórios, povos, culturas, afiliações políticas e religiosas, porém, tem sido afetada por uma história de violência, desigualdade, atos de corrupção, entre outros males, associados à falta de tolerância para a diferença e falta de proteção para comunidades e minorias. Objetivo. O estudo propõe revelar os saberes produzidos pelas organizações, seus modos culturais de construção do conhecimento, aprendizagem intercultural, práticas educativas e saberes. Como aposta contra hegemônica, foi proposto torná-los visíveis desde seus territórios, das suas histórias de vida e das suas experiências. Método. Foi realizada através de pesquisa-ação-participação, com 38 pessoas co-pesquisadoras de 13 organizações através de encontros pedagógicos/investigativos, visitas a territórios, círculos de reflexão e entrevistas. Resultados. Forma identificados linhas de escape em perspectiva de descolonização das manifestações estéticas, epistémicas e a configuração da pedagogia no território como veículo de relações, o cuidado de si mesmo e dos demais, em espaços comuns a partir de diálogos e práticas plurilógicas e pluriculturalistas. Conclusão. Foi possível demostrar o reconhecimento de uma diversidade epistêmica e uma pedagogia outra, ou seja, um apelo a outras lógicas/rupturas da ideia unitária do mundo. No processo educacional das organizações, também é possível encontrar caminhos para educar diferenciais, onde os conceitos e métodos educacionais são removidos do tempo passado, apresentados como eventos cotidianos que são interrogados em espaços deliberativos.
