STANOVANJSKO-BIVANJSKA PROBLEMATIKA IN OCENA ZDRAVJA MED MLADIMI V SLOVENIJI V KONTEKSTU NEUGODNIH STRUKTURNIH RAZMER IN BIVANJSKIH PREFERENC
In: Teorija in praksa, S. 548-567
Ker pretekle
študije kažejo, da so razlike v stanovanjsko-bivanjskem
položaju mladih pogostokrat odraz razlik v njihovem
ekonomskem položaju, je bila v analizo vključena
še ocena ekonomskega položaja družine. Rezultati
pokažejo, da obstojijo statistično značilne posredne in
neposredne vezi med ekonomskim položajem družine,
bivanjskimi razmerami in strahom pred stanovanjsko

In: Družboslovne razprave, S. 23-54
ISSN: 1581-968X
The article explores the relationships between young people's media choices,
technological preferences, and everyday life in connection to their cultural and
social characteristics. As such, it describes the conceptual framework of the media repertoires approach and selected methods. Media repertoires are approached
from a generational perspective, pointing out the conceptual and empirical challenges of such research. As one of the first attempts to conceptualise media practices at the intersection of family, educational and peer contexts, the article aims
to describe the qualitative research design of an empirical study that considered a
sample of 67 students aged 12 to 19. The sample is presented through an analysis of its sociodemographic characteristics, while personal media networks help
identify the teenagers' media preferences and their potential cross-connections.
INFORMING CLIMATE MITIGATION POLICIES: A SCOPING STUDY BASED ON 64 ARTICLES USING THE 2016 EUROPEAN SOCIAL SURVEY ROTATING MODULE
In: Teorija in praksa, S. 664-690
The article presents a meta-analysis of academic articles using the European Social Survey Climate Change module. It summarises the key individual and country-level factors that shape climate beliefs, behaviours, and policy support, aiming to mitigate the problem of the fragmentation of findings when informing policymakers. The results, depicted in a heuristic model, underscore the significance of awareness, trust, and socio-political contexts, illustrating the intricate interplay of climate change beliefs, emotional engagement and policy preferences. By consolidating the scattered research through a meta-analytical approach, the study efficiently identifies key obstacles encountered by European decision-makers while implementing climate mitigation measures and policies. Sodelovanje Evropske unije pri delu Združenih narodov: vpliv resolucije A/RES/65/276 na koherentnost glasovanja držav članic Evropske unije v Generalni skupščini Združenih narodov pri vprašanjih JO ; Participation of the European Union in the work of the United Nations: the impact of a resolution A/...
A/RES/65/276 pridobila okrepljen status opazovalca. ; The EU is the first regional organization that has strived to upgrade its observer function in the UNGA and on 3rd May 2011, with the UNGA resolution A/RES/65/276 gained an enhanced observer status. Since the adoption of this resolution has created a framework that brings changes to the functioning of the EU in the UNGA, my master's thesis aims to analyze the impact of the resolution on the EU MS' voting coherence in the UNGA on nuclear-related resolutions. Since the disagreement between the EU MS in the UNGA is the highest regarding resolutions dealing with nuclear weapons, it seems appropriate to analyse to what extent the adoption of A/RES/65/276 contributed to the EU's ability to present a common position in the UNGA or the ability to »speak with one voice« when discussing such a controversial topic. I intend to identify this on the basis of a mixed method, i.e. a quantitative analysis of the EU MS' vote on the subject of resolutions dealing with nuclear weapons and qualitative analysis of possible changes of the EU's nuclear arms standpoints in the eight year period before and after the adoption of A/RES/65/276. Findings show that the UNGA Resolution no. A/RES/65/276, did not contribute to a greater coherence in the EU MS's voting in the UNGA when voting on nuclear weapons resolutions. EU MS remain divided on nuclear disarmament issues, with both nuclear and non-nuclear states maintaining strong national preferences.

EXPLORING FACTORS AFFECTING PAKISTANI STUDENTS' INTENTIONS TO ACCEPT AND USE MOBILE ADVERTISING: A UTAUT2 PERSPECTIVE
In: Teorija in praksa, S. 93-114
Abstract. The article aims to explore factors that influence respondents'
intentions to accept and use mobile advertising by proposing an extension of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT)
with perceived enjoyment, perceived irritation, and personalisation. To
identify the factors affecting the acceptability of mobile advertising, the
intentions and behaviours of respondents regarding mobile advertising are
reviewed. The study was conducted in Pakistan by using online survey.
Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied to examine the sample size of 446 respondents. The findings revealed
certain crucial factors (such as effort expectancy, performance expectancy,
perceived enjoyment, perceived irritation, and personalisation) that can
affect respondents' intentions to accept mobile advertising. Also revealed
was the relationship between respondents' intentions to accept and use
behaviour regarding mobile advertising. It is established that respondents
expect more personalised promotional messages to be shown to them in
line with their needs and preferences. Here, advertisers must pay attention
to the contextual relevance of the ads while noting the element of irritation
that can be felt among consumers, as such ads create negative attitudes
and intentions towards mobile advertising.
