"Conducting a scientific research in a military environment reinforces the traditional challenges of social science research, but few epistemological and methodological discussions of this issue are available. This article's objective is threefold. First, it aims at exploring the issue of data collection in a French, foreign or multinational military environment. Second, it explores the specific place of the researcher in such an environment. Third, it evaluates the quality of the data gathered in this context. The article discusses issues such as access to archives, interviews or the observation of practices and argues that combining this variety of approaches (methodological triangulation) is a satisfying way to collect data fit for the researcher's particular project".

Lebanon is the smallest country in the Middle-East characterized by its multi confessional political system. This system impacts all the aspects of social activities including sports. After the eruption of the civil war from 1975 until 1990, the existence of multiple religious communities on a limited geographical area, led to rethink their redistribution within the Lebanese government in order to ensure equity between 18 different religious groups that represent the majority of political parties during the post Taef era. This PhD project aims to examine the essence of "political use of sports" within the Lebanese sport sector or the "politicization of sport" (politics) in Lebanon and how political involvement will affect sport activities in Lebanon. Through a qualitative methodological design more specifically a Participant Observation study, I took advantage of my political affiliation to AMAL party to examine closely the various actors in the Lebanese sport sector. The study began by examining the overall structure of Sports in Lebanon starting at it emergence in official texts mainly in the Lebanese constitution. Afterwards, I gathered a body of literature by the means of my political resources in order to analyze a posteriori the relevant information. Inductive analysis was used to extract chore meanings related to politicization of sport and to highlight political manipulation of sports in Lebanon.

Introduction: The number of general practitioners working exclusively in private practice has decreased by 4,4% these last seven years whereas those working exclusively for the salaried sector has been increasing. These trends still go on in spite of the measures taken by the state and the regional communities to encourage the new practitioners to choose the first one. Objectives : The main purpose was first to investigate the main determining factors in the choice of the general practitioners in Gironde, then to generate hypotheses for the reasons why the new doctors choose the salaried ambulatory general medicine and investigate the adequacy between the existing incentives and the choice of the general practitioners when they have to make it. Methods: Qualitative research in a hypothetic-inductive approach of anchored theorization. Semi-structured interviews have been conducted with a purposing sampling of young general practitioners in Gironde until reaching saturation. Results: Through the 16 interviews led, multiple professional factors have been found, the first one being the professional interest. Their choice wasn't much influent by the installation location. Yet the professional factors had to be consistent with their private (family and social) life. The young practitioners were attracted by health centers hoping for a less intense rythm of work, a best quality of care, an easier access to a team work and the advantages of the public area even in general practice. They thought incentives weren't enough efficient, inaccurate and unknown. Conclusion: The medical demography could be improved by incentives taking into account the needs of the population and the wills of the young doctors together. A political effort must be made in order to give the universities enough resources to train the future general practitioners to the private practice.

Qualitative researches based on focus group W offer valuable insights in analyzing moral conflicts. This article suggests they also prove very useful to explore citizens' perceptions of political misbehaviours. Moral expectations regarding politicians' behaviours are ambiguous judgements because of the various criteria that underpin their perceptions of politics. This article is based on the analysis of eight different, socio-culturally homogeneous focus groups. Collected arguments are analysed through a quantitative method examining discursive contents. The existence of a common grid for ranking political misbehaviours is emphasized. The moderating effects of collective discussion on judgements are also outlined. The article emphasizes variations in judgments, differentiating groups according to their social and occupational experiences. At last, different "repertoires of arguments" are identified relying on different principles. Adapted from the source document.
