Now 91, the tireless Helmut Schmidt could still teach a thing or two to most German politicians. He continues to go to his office every day at weekly newspaper Die Zeit & devours the press. In this exclusive interview with Olivier Guez for Politique Internationale, Helmut Schmidt reflects upon his long career, one that is intertwined with the last half-century of Germany history. He addresses a broad range of major issues without missing a beat, including the people he admired (and those he didn't...), the vagaries of the Franco-German relationship, the rise of China, the Greek crisis & the future of the euro. In general, he regrets the lack of impetus in the construction of Europe & the absence of leadership. Without any major initiatives to mobilize people, Helmut Schmidt fears that the European dream will eventually go up in smoke. Adapted from the source document.
National audience and article reports a research into the analysis of the activity of the master and the pupils (Clot, Faïta, Fernandez -Scheller, L., 2000) in a 'single urban class' at a time of citizenship education, the classroom council deciding on day and week activities. References to institutional pedagogy (Lafftte, 1985) and 'dissipation processes' (COLLOT, 2003) do not fully explain the activity carried out by the master and the students. The study of a situation of classroom counselling and its analysis make it possible to highlight the contrast between a teaching intervention by the teacher which differentiates the private sphere from that of the classroom presented as a public space governed by the law and its withdrawal when students specifically discuss the sanction and its application. On this occasion, five educational questions were raised on classroom advice: how to make it a place for class law, what is the reason for the professional leadership of the teacher or his withdrawal, what place it has in life and also in students' learning, how to assess the contribution of the single urban class to the functioning of the cooperative classroom council and citizenship education, how can the achievements of this citizen's education be made more "sustainable"? The insights from a teaching analysis of this situation make it possible to better understand the challenges of changing the forms of organisation of the school when it pursues democratisation issues. National audience The creation of girls' secondary schools in 1880 by the Camille sée Act works in favour of graduates in the sense that one of the few managerial positions open to women before the Second World War is de facto reserved for them. At the same time, the broad conception of the Director's role, which is not supported like the predictor by a student, points to a political and institutional will to differentiate and prioritise female and male education. Does gender diversity in the 1960s and 1970s mean that women and men are equally represented in secondary schools and colleges? On the contrary, on the basis of statistical data, there is a male increase in jobs, a phenomenon which is rare in the higher professions and feminised in the second half of the 20th century. How can this decline in teacher participation in school leadership be interpreted? Has the situation reversed in the 2000s when initiatives are being taken to encourage women to apply for managerial positions in national education? We will answer these questions by assuming that the gender balance structure jobs and influences access to functions in this sector as well as in other areas of activity and for both sexes. We will rely on survey materials carried out around 1995 and 2009-2010 per questionnaire, but above all on interviews with management staff, chef.fes and adjoining. This approach makes it possible to understand the professional and social characteristics of staff, their career aspirations and the difficulties faced by women. While the overall feminisation rate tends to rise to the 'senior management' category, internal divisions and inequalities remain at the beginning of the 21st century.
