Political connections, overinvestment and governance mechanism in Indonesia
The purpose of this study is to investigate the association between political connections and overinvestment in Indonesia as a democratic, multi-party and developing country. This study uses sample of 1,044 and 543 firm-year observations from listed firms on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2017. A two-stage model is used to address overinvestment, which used two different measurements, then continued by ordinary least square regression to establish the main analysis result. This study finds that political connection is negatively associated with overinvestment in Indonesia. We also find that this negative association is increasing due to the existence of governance mechanism from both external and internal parties of the firm. Our results indicate that the significant negative associations between political connections with overinvestment, which later is strengthen by governance mechanism might be caused by several differences in institutional setting and/or political connections benefits between the previous research in China and with the place where this research is taken. This paper could give insights in decision-making for stakeholders to anticipate certain harmful issues to the companies that might be occurred by their politically connected top management like directors and commissioners.

This study aims to determine how camat role in ensuring good governance in the sub Batukliang utaraKabupaten central Lombok. The method used is a qualitative method. Camat role in achieving good governance aspects of the view, that plan manage, control and coordinate all activities of the organization of general duty of government and regional government authority delegated by the Regent. informants in this study as many as four people taken from officials of skretaris camat, subsections of government, public and kepegawean subsections village government representatives. the key instrument in this study is the researchers themselves, while collecting data using interview techniques. The results of data analysis aimed subdistrict governments to coordinate and supervise the activities of the government district in northern Batukliang to achieve good governance is done properly and effectively in Kecamtan Batukliang north. Based on the results of the study concluded that the district head north batuklinag already mamapu stints with both the duty and authority to coordinate and supervise the government penyelenggraan in districts that have an important role in achieving good governance. Good governance relates to how the local goverment both district and ciity as poliisy implementers, both national and local policies. COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN EKONOMI KHUSUS
Tourism is a large sector that includes many things in it. Facilities and infrastructure that can support the life of the tourism sector are not only owned by one party, but involve various stakeholders so that collaboration between these stakeholders is needed to collaborate, but collaborative governance in the development of the Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze collaborative governance in the development of the Tanjung Lesung SEZ. This research is based on the Collaborative Governance Theory from Ansell and Gash. This theory is to examine the collaboration process which includes dimensions including the collaboration process, initial conditions, institutional design, and facilitative leadership. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Because the main purpose of this study is to describe and provide an explanation of collaborative governance in the development of the Tanjung Lesung SEZ. Informants were determined by purposive sampling and snowball techniques. The data collection technique used is by conducting observations, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The result of this research is that Collaborative Governance in the development of the Tanjung Lesung SEZ has not been implemented optimally. Suggestions from this research are that the community increases its resources so that they can collaborate, the government provides ongoing training to help the community actively collaborate and the government forms a special forum as a forum to communicate and discuss the vision and mission to be achieved together. ; The development of tourism is not only conducted by one stakeholder, but it involves various stakeholders and therefore needs the collaboration among them. The purpose of this research is to describe the collaborative governance in developing the special economic zone of Tanjung Lesung. The description of collaborative governance is based on collaborative governance model that emphasizes four dimensions, namely starting condition, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and collaboration process. Method of this research is descriptive-qualitative method. This research needs primary and secondary data. Primary data of this research are collected by in-depth interview and observation, and secondary data of this research are collected by documentation. The collected data, both primary and secondary, are qualitatively described. Results of this research indicate that the collaborative governance based on the dimensions of starting condition, institutional design, facilitative leadership, and collaboration process in developing the special economic zone of Tanjung Lesung is not optimally implemented yet. This research recommends that the community increases its resources in order to involve in collaboration; the government provides the sustained training to help the community in order to actively collaborate and forms a special forum to communicate and discuss the vision and mission to be commonly achieved in developing the special economic zone of Tanjung Lesung.

PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN KEHUTANAN DAERAH DALAM PERSPEKTIF GOOD GOVERNANCE
Sustainable use of forest resources is needed to establish a forestry management plan. Forest management plans exist at the provincial level according to the conditions and problems. Forestry planning at Provincial level depicts current forest conditions, institutional conditions, the contribution of economy, social and ecology associated with the provincial level strategic issues. This paper tries to elaborate the local development planning of forestry from good governance perspective, and role of stakeholders of local development forest planning. The research was based on qualitative descriptive approach to the study site in the province of Yogyakarta and West Papua. The result shows that forest planning in the region is top-down with respect to existing regional characteristics. To realize the principles of good governance, a gap for each stakeholder role in the arrangement, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to reporting should be made. The role of government in the area of forestry development planning in terms of good governance, the rule of law for the regulation in the forestry sector has been completed. Partnership is the key word synergy in the implementation of good governance in forestry development in the area will attention to the aspects of partnership and equity between all stakeholders in the arrangement, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting of forest development.Keyword: Planning, Forestry, Good Governance, patnership

Come to School Movement became one of the steps taken by Bojonegoro District to handle problems of education. One of the problems in the education sector is dropout rates have remained high. This movement as an attempt to address these problem as well as increasing school participation. Management education become important to discussed because there are still many the assumption that governance not good enough. Governance less well it will affected a lot of sectors, one of them is education. Manajement education less well it would provoke gap between the objectives to the achieved by the fact that accourred in field. The purpose of this study is aims to look at Come to School Movement in Bojonegoro District seen from the perspective of good governance and sound governance. The type of research used in this study is a type of descriptive research with qualitative approaches. The selection of informants using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, documentation, and a written document. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, presentation of data, and verification or withdrawal of the conclusion. The result of the research shows that the management in Come to School Movement when seen from perspective of good governance still needs to be improved in the principle of the rule of law, transparency, effectiveness and efficiency. Whereas if viewed from the perspective of sound governance still needs to be improved in dimension of the cognition and value and also constitution.

Zombie Company and CSR Performance with Corporate Governance and Ownership as Moderator Variables
This study aims to determine the relationship between zombie companies and the performance of corporate social responsibility, with corporate governance and ownership as moderator variables. A zombie company is a near-insolvent firm due to inefficiency and low profitability but still survive with external support from the government or bank (Kane, 1987). The determination of the sample is done by a purposive sampling method, with OLS and Moderated Regression Analysis methods. The number of research samples is 288 companies with a total of 1865 observations for the period 2010-2017. The analysis shows that CSR performance in zombie companies is lower than that of non-zombies. The moderator variable of corporate governance is proxied by board composition, while ownership is proxied by family ownership and institutional ownership. The board composition and institutional ownership variables do not moderate the negative effects of zombie companies on CSR performance, while the family ownership variable worsens the relationship between zombie companies and CSR performance. The research control variables are financial leverage, a dummy of state-owned enterprise, and firm size. While financial leverage has no effect on the CSR performance, the state-owned enterprise and firm size are positively related to that performance.

ANALISIS TATA KELOLA (MANAJEMEN) PEMERINTAHAN DARI PERSPEKTIF GOOD GOVERNANCE
As stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, the goal of our states is to form a government of the state of Indonesia which shall protect all the Indonesian people and the entire country, promote the general welfare, the intellectual life of the nation and participate in the establishment of world peace. This understanding is based on the need of clean government and to accommodate the principles of good governance. Currently, our government has not been fully able to protect and carry out its functions as mandated by the 1945 opening which is stated above . This is consistent with the results of research on Indonesia which governance has not improved significantly and has not been consistent after 15 years of reform. The data is processed by comparing the implementation of data governance at the beginning of the reforming process (1996/1998) and the 2009-2014 strategic plan (drawn from the data transparency of Worldwide Governance Indicators Projects 2010 and Kompas May 20, 2013).

The Effect of Company Characteristics and Corporate Governance on the Practices of Intellectual Capital Disclosure
This study aimed to reveal the effect of company characteristics, company size i.e., profitability, leverage, liquidity, and industry type; and corporate governance structure, consisting of the audit firm size and the independent commissioners' composition, on the intellectual capital disclosure. This research applied quantitative approach by testing seven independent variables through multiple linear regression analysis. The samples taken were 80 annual reports from companies listed in the LQ-45 index in the year 2012-2013. The method employed to select the samples was purposive sampling. Content analysis was applied to analyze the intellectual capital disclosure. This study revealed that only the company size showed significant positive impact to the disclosure of intellectual capital, while profitability, leverage, liquidity, industry type, the audit firm size, and the independent commissioners composition did not bring significant effect. In addition, based on the results of content analysis it can be concluded that the intellectual capital disclosure is quite low, amounting to 46.9%, with relational capital amounted to 34.74%, 32.54% of structural capital, and human capital reached 32.71%.

MANAJEMEN PENGELOLAAN LEMBAGA AMIL ZAKAT DENGAN PRINSIP GOOD GOVERNANCE
This study describes about the management of zakat based on good governance principles. The method of this study is using library research such as secondary data in the form of books, journal articles or other literature based on the topic being discussed. The results of this study show that good governance is required by LAZ to improve professional performance in order to meet the interests of stakeholders. The implementation of Good Governance Principles in the management of zakat is as follows: Transparency, it means that LAZ must apply the principle of information disclosure to stakeholders. Accountability, it means that LAZ must hold the principle of trust (accountable) in managing zakat funds. Responsibility, it means that LAZ is responsible for distributing zakat funds right up to mustahiq. Independency, it means that LAZ is managed independently and has no dependence on certain people or other institutions. Fairness, it means that LAZ should make every effort to be fair in distributing zakat funds for those who are entitled to it. Sharia Compliance, it means that the collection and distribution of zakat funds managed by LAZ must comply with the Islamic corridor.

Enhancing governance in Indonesian local government through accrual accounting: Are we ready?
Local Government are required to implement accrual-accounting. The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that may increase the readiness of Batu Local Government in the implementation of accrual accounting. This study used three variables: competency, organizational commitment, and professionalism of employees. The population in this study is the officers involved in the financial administration of the area in 34 regional units. The sample was selected using a quota sampling technique. Data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis method used is the test of data quality, classic assumption test, and multiple linear regression test with SPSS (statistical product and service solutions). The results showed that competency, organizational commitment and professionalism of officers may increase the readiness of the application of accrual accounting, the professionalism of officers can be used as an intervening variable in relation to competency with the readiness of the application of accrual accounting, and shows that the professionalism of employees cannot be used as an intervening variable in relation to the organization's commitment to the readiness of the application of accrual accounting.

Global Governance encompasses the world's political activities and the management of issues and phenomena that occurred on a nation-state, involving contributions from regional to the international environment. In the global security sector, there are numerous efforts carried out by a country to counter such external threats that can cause destabilization. Non-proliferation and nuclear developments for peace are such issues of the global defense-security concern. The attempts to control and ensure the use of nuclear has been carried out by enacting international law, resolutions, and multilateral agreements. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is one kind. Influencing the world's security, politics, and economy, JCPOA began to be disrupted since the U.S. withdrawal as one of the parties that initially signed the agreement. This research aims to analyze The Collapse of Global Governance: When the U.S. Leaves the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). This research used a qualitative method with analysis based on secondary data, validated by the triangulation technique in this qualitative study. The analytical procedure uses secondary data from journals, media, and literature related to the Iran nuclear agreement and previous analyses discussing the U.S. exit from the JCPOA agreement. The analysis technique performs by arranging the data sequence, organizing the data into a pattern, category, and basic description. This research has found that Global Governance has fundamental weaknesses in its application. Through an analysis of the U.S. exit from the Iran nuclear agreement, it can be said that the reins of control are in the hands of the U.S. The Trump administration's policy on behalf of the U.S. to leave JCPOA to thwart the achievement of Global Governance and significantly affects the multi-national economic, political, and security order. The implementation of Global Governance and the issues also raised based on the interests of the superpowers. ; Global governance meliputi kegiatan politik dunia dan pengelolaan isu dan fenomena yang terjadi pada suatu negara kebangsaan, yang melibatkan kontribusi dari lingkungan regional hingga internasional. Di bidang keamanan global, banyak upaya yang dilakukan oleh suatu negara untuk melawan ancaman eksternal yang dapat menyebabkan destabilisasi. Non-proliferasi dan perkembangan nuklir untuk perdamaian adalah isu-isu yang menjadi perhatian pertahanan-keamanan global. Upaya pengendalian dan penjaminan penggunaan nuklir dilakukan melalui penetapan hukum internasional, resolusi, dan kesepakatan multilateral. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) adalah salah satunya. Mempengaruhi keamanan, politik, dan ekonomi dunia, keberadaan JCPOA mulai terganggu sejak mundurnya Amerika Serikat (AS) sebagai salah satu pihak yang awalnya menandatangani perjanjian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Runtuhnya Global Governance: Saat Keluarnya AS dari Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis berdasarkan data sekunder, divalidasi dengan teknik triangulasi dalam penelitian kualitatif ini. Prosedur analitis menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari jurnal, media, dan literatur terkait perjanjian nuklir Iran dan analisis sebelumnya yang membahas keluarnya AS dari perjanjian JCPOA. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan menyusun urutan data, mengorganisasikan data ke dalam suatu pola, kategori, dan deskripsi dasar. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa global governance memiliki kelemahan mendasar dalam penerapannya. Melalui analisis keluarnya AS dari perjanjian nuklir Iran, dapat dikatakan bahwa kendali kendali berada di tangan AS. Kebijakan pemerintahan Trump mengatasnamakan AS keluar dari JCPOA untuk menggagalkan pencapaian global governance dan secara signifikan mempengaruhi tatanan ekonomi, politik, dan keamanan multi-nasional. Implementasi global governance dan permasalahannya juga diangkat berdasarkan kepentingan negara adidaya.
