Abstract

7 ; 4 ; 3/4 column inch ; The Mormons claim that Utah should be admitted as a State, on the ground that they have a right under the Constitution to a republican form of government. Utah has the requisite population, is able to bear the expenses of government, and to protect herself against the Indians within her borders.
