International audience ; The international competition surrounding artificial intelligence is based on a fantasized vision of the possibilities offered by technology. National myths and imaginaries furnish these Promethean technologies with religious hopes and translate them into political terms, to the point of confrontation, an apotheotic promise for some, redeeming for others. ; La compétition internationale autour de l 'intelligence artificielle repose sur une vision fantasmée des possibilités offertes par la technique. Les mythes et les imaginaires nationaux nourrissent d'espérances religieuses ces technologies prométhéennes et les traduisent en termes politiques, jusqu'à la confrontation, promesse apothéotique pour certains, salvifique pour les autres.
