В статье анализируется роль журналистики в процессе демократических преобразований в России конца XX - начала XXI вв., рассматриваются политические, правовые и экономические аспекты участия журналистики в этапах демократического транзита, подчеркивается роль СМИ в формировании гражданской культуры демократического общества. ; The author analyzes journalism role in the course of democratic transformations in Russia at the end of the XXth the beginning of the XXIst centuries, considers the political, legal and economic aspects of journalism participation in the stages of democratic transit and emphasizes mass-media role in the formation of civil culture of democratic society.
