Abstract

Dear Colleagues! Summer come, it is time of summer holidays, vacation, trips, in general the rest! The Union of pediatricians of Russia, as always, has actively met the beginning of summer on June, 1 in Scientific Center of Children's Health of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences have been organized a holiday for the most unprotected patients for children with orphan diseases. And on the eve of this remarkable day 20 doctors of different specialities have consulted more than 225 children in military station «Vlasikha» (read about it on P. 118-119). On June, 11 the meeting of working group on sports medicine and antidope support with participation of the Russian Ministry of health and social development, SCCH and other has taken place where were discussed state of health and an possibility of its improvement in our future champions. About it read on page 120-121. During the themes mentioned in last issues of our journal, we shall acquaint you with ethical aspects of clinical trials in children, we shall tell about potential risk for a fetus in case of medication administration to pregnant women, we shall discuss the important problem of immunoprophylaxis in children with oncopathology and once again we shall concentrate attention on a high level deficiency of iodine in our country. Besides you are waited with interesting publications on allergy, nutrition, psychoneurology, etc. News of this issue is the opening of very important column for doctors «Resuscitation of children» which will be conducted by the leading expert on children's reanimation professor R.
