ТУРЕЦКИЕ ВОЕННОПЛЕННЫЕ ПЕРВОЙ МИРОВОЙ ВОЙНЫ В САМАРСКОЙ ГУБЕРНИИ

Abstract

В статье освещаются вопросы пребывания и перемещения в Самаре и Самарской губернии турецких военнопленных периода Первой мировой войны. Впервые использованы ранее неизвестные архивные документы, на основе которых исследованы организация перевозок и размещения пленных турок, оказание пленным медицинской помощи, полицейское наблюдение за пленными. Особое внимание уделено отношению российских властей и российских мусульман Самарской губернии к турецким военнопленным. Показаны попытки политической полиции контролировать политические настроения пленных и их связи с местным мусульманским населением. Приведены факты моральной поддержки и материальной помощи пленным со стороны местного мусульманского и православного населения. Также представлен фактический материал, позволяющий определить места захоронений турецких солдат и офицеров, умерших в плену, на территории Самарской губернии. ; The article highlights the captivity and displacements of Turkish prisoners of World War I in the Samara province (Russia). It uses unknown archival documents which demonstrate common practices of the Turkish prisoners' transportation and accommodation in this province. It also contains information about medical care rendered to the Turkish soldiers and officers and police surveillance conducted over them. Attention is also paid to attitudes of the Russian authorities and the Russian Muslims toward the Turkish prisoners. The author shows the attempts of the political police to control the POWs' political mood and their relations with Muslims and non-Muslims in the Volga region. Some facts of moral and material support and charity rendered to the prisoners by the local Muslim and Orthodox population are described. This is the first presentation of archival materials which allow to find the military burials of the Turkish soldiers and officers who died in captivity in the Samara province.
