Abstract

Настоящая статья посвящена рассмотрению банковской системы Соединенных Штатов Америки. В ходе проведенного исследования автором были выделены особенности организации банковской системы США и ее уровни. В работе изучается история создания Федеральной резервной системы США, ее структура, полномочия Совета управляющих ФРС, правовое положение Федеральных резервных банков. Также в статье выделяются виды депозитных учреждений по законодательству США, рассматриваются особенности правового статуса федеральных банков и банков штатов, банковских холдинговых компаний, сберегательных ассоциаций и иных субъектов банковского дела. ; This article is devoted to the banking system of the United States of America. In the course of the study the author highlighted the features of organization of the US banking system and its levels. The article examines the history of the creation of the Federal Reserve system of the United States, its structure, powers of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, the legal position of the Federal Reserve banks. The article also spells out the types of deposit-taking institutions according to the legislation of the United States, the peculiarities of the legal status of the Federal banks and banks of the States, bank holding companies, associations and other subjects of banking.
