СУЧАСНІ ДЕТЕРМІНАНТИ ТРАНСФОРМАЦІЇ ІМПОРТНОЇ ПОЛІТИКИ В УКРАЇНІ ; MODERN DETERMINANTS OF IMPORT POLICY TRANSFORMATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract

У статті досліджено динаміку зовнішньої торгівлі в Україні. Визначено, що політика імпортування є важливим інструментом забезпечення економічної незалежності України, збереження власної економічної ідентичності та безпеки. Проаналізовано географічну та товарну структуру імпорту, виділено країни з найвищою часткою імпорту до України та розкрито причини зміни обсягів увезення товарів за широкими економічними категоріями. Проведено порівняння статистичних даних структури імпорту 2010 р. та 2018 р. Зроблено висновок, що імпортозалежність країни є гальмуючим чинником для національного розвитку. Визначено сутність ефективної імпортної політики в Україні та її вплив на національний розвиток. Запропоновано ключові напрямки трансформації сучасної імпортної політики держави. ; The article deals with the dynamics of foreign trade in Ukraine. It is determined that the import policy is an important tool for ensuring the economic independence of Ukraine, preserving its own economic identity and security. The development of international trade has been recognized as one of the means of stimulating economic growth, capable of providing solutions to such issues as development of production, stabilization of the exchange rate, reduction of the unemployment rate and enhancement of the positive image of the country in the world. Thus, Ukraine's international trading activities are an integral part of further enhancing economic potential and improving living standards. On this basis, it can be argued that the study of international trade will substantiate the basic principles of the country's import policy, which, in turn, will be an impetus for enhancing Ukraine's economic security.The geographical and commodity structure of imports are analyzed, the countries with the highest share of imports to Ukraine are identified and the reasons for changes in the volume of importation of goods by broad economic categories are revealed. Formalized statistics in the form of diagrams to determine structural shifts in imports. It is concluded that the country's import dependence is a hindering factor for national development. The essence of effective import policy in Ukraine and its influence on national development are determined. The key directions of transformation of the modern import policy of the state are offered.Ukraine's imports were comparable. In order to understand the essence of an effective import policy in Ukraine and its impact on national development, it is necessary to study the prerequisites for the emergence of import dependence and the dynamics of foreign economic activity of national economic entities in the field of import.The study identified that a change in import policy should begin with those sectors of economic activity that are most suited and capable of delivering the expected result in a short time. It has been determined that an effective import strategy will significantly reduce the volume of imported products and should stimulate the production of imported products at the national level.
