Abstract

In the bachelor's thesis it is investigated that with the collapse of the colonial empire the European direction became key one for Great Britain. The United Kingdom has won a strong position in the integration group and has become an "inconvenient partner" in it. It was found that the logic of integration led to the deepening of an economic and political cooperation, which caused a rise of euroscepticism, that led to a referendum that demonstrated the division of society. ; У бакалаврській роботі встановлено, що з розпадом колоніальної імперії європейський напрямок став ключовим для Великої Британії. Сполучене Королівство завоювала міцні позиції в інтеграційному угрупованні та стала в ній «незручним партнером». Було встановлено, що логіка інтеграції вела до поглиблення економічного і політичного співробітництва, що викликало у Великої Британії підйом євроскептицизму, стало підставою для референдуму, який засвідчив розкол суспільства.
